Agoda – Hotel Booking Deals

I didn't have any bad experiences so far. I had 9 days vacation and had to book multiple hotels. Compared it to other apps and agoda really had the best deals. Hopefully more hotels will be in it. You just have to carefully read everything because there were instances where I thought there were misleading information.

I saw this app way back and it improved a lot in terms of its offers. They have a lot of offeres to choose from. They also have coupons and deals that make it so enticing to book. Prices are reasonable but they ahould improve ther system. As I browse, I saw a lot of complaints regarding to cancellation of bookings they paid for it in advanced and it has been cancelled immediately and it is non-refundable. If it was not the customer's fault they need to do something and refund it immediately.

The property shown in Agoda site is completely different from what actually it is. The nearvy distance mentioned from the property are too far, we had to travel more than 8km far and also the beach distance are too far from the property. This is unacceptable and a scam. I had booked two different hotel and faced the same issue. Pls don't waste your valuable money here.

Agoda is Total Garbage. Don't believe any of these positive reviews. I booked a room and went to bed. The next morning I had an email saying the booking was cancelled for no reason. I booked another room and the same thing happened. But the 2nd time Agoda charged my Visa card and said the booking was non-refundable. It's a legal scam. Believe me, Just book through the hotel directly, pay about the same rate and never have to fight with an incompetent person at Agoda.

Been using this app for almost 4 years and my experience has been good. costumer service, is quick to respond to my complaints and cancellation has been so easy i never had problems with it so far, hotel price ìs cheaper than in another apps. they also have vouchers which you can used for even lower prices and my membership has upgraded to platinum status which means more discounts and savings. Complete frauds... Don't download this app. All are fraudulent... I lost my money by booking through agoda. The booking was successful and I paid the amount. But when I reach the hotel they told me that there are no rooms available. They told me that there are no such booking. The customer service phone is always switched off... Still I didn't get my money back.

We had a absolutely horrible experience with this app. The prices in both the app and website are misleading and deceptive. We paid extra money at the hotel though we had already done so through the app. The payment was non refundable and the prices shown before the payment are the not the same after the amount debited. They've buried charges in fineprint and the vouchers offered are just a scam. The customer care is atrocious with just an automated bot with very limited answering options.

Agoda customer care is the worst customer care possible. Trying to solve payment issues faced repeated times on the app but they are of no help and are disinterested in helping out. They are telling me that everything is fine at their end. How can it be fine at their end when my cards works just fine with other applications except Agoda that too on multiple occasions. Ridiculous and frustrating.

Very bad user experience. Tried booking the hotel multiple times and the reservations are keep on getting cancelled stating technical error. When reached out to customer support one agent says rooms are not available hence it is getting cancelled. Another agent says technical issue and I have to book with the hotel directly. If I were to book with the hotel why this app is needed?

1. forwards wrong address and phone number to airlines. Airline cannot directly contact you via those. 2. mentions min cancellation charges 3k for a 4k ticket even when cancel attempt is made in half an hour. Does not prodive any means to actually cancel the ticket. Mentions to contact customer support, does not provide the number. No cancel button, No number. So basically there is no refund. Overall, agoda is a spam.

The app is such a scam. I booked a room in this app also I paid the amount. But the property refused to check in. As they say they dont take bookings from this app. Also, there was no refund on cancellation. So now, i lost my money also couldn't check in when I was in an emergency. If you don't work with certain hotels, kindly remove them from your apps and site. I suggest no one this app. There are plenty of other apps to use.

I had booked La Vie resort goa for 23-04-2022. Due to personal issues I had to cancel the booking on 27th March,well before the free cancellation period. But they haven't cancelled the booking at their end and an amount of Rs 7697.08 on 20-04-2022. I had tried to contact them over for but was unable to connect with them. Then I tried to use the chat option but only fixed options are available there and I was still unable to convey my issue to their support team. There is no option to reach them

I had a bad experience with the booking hotel refund, its so complicated and to long... when i transfering for booked the hotels in agoda at 8 May, it so eazy, but, then something happen with the system, system gave me notification that the system had an error problem n the booking process got canceled and then im procees to get refund it... its so hard to process and until i wrote this review at 14 May, the refund is still not came in to my bank account

Be careful, while browsing the app will raise prices on you. If you use a VPN hiding your Mac address or somebody elses phone it is nearly always cheaper. I saved $500, the price on the app had doubled while browsing, looked at the same listing on Chrome it was still the same price. Booked through chrome on another hotel saved $500 Vs the price on the app. I suggest using hotelscombined to get accurate prices.

Terrible experience. I arrived at the hotel and my booking had been CANCELED out of the blue!! With my luggage, in a foreign country I was made homeless, without even any notice. I called the customer service and I was waiting for 5 hours on the waiting line to speak to the manager after having spoken to 4 employees without any solution. The manager offered a coupon that I could use only if I booked a very expensive room almost 3 times the price of my initial reservation.

Best app for hotels. I can't use other apps or websites anymore. This one always has the best deals, and really easy to use. People think I'm a professional at booking and want my secrets and really it's all due to this app. I have found amazing properties that perfectly fit my needs and I couldnt possibly think of a way to change it.

This used to be a great app but the last few months has driven me nuts trying to access my bookings. Ill be signed in yet it keeps asking me to sign in when I want to see my booking then returns to the sign in page on a 'loop'. Ive had to use the web browser for my last 2 bookings. I have updated the app twice and it hasnt fixed it. Not to mention trying to deal with anyone in customer care is a nightmare.

Highly unreliable & most unfriendly app for hotel booking purposes. My earlier booking for a room in a hotel at a lower rate was cancelled arbitrarily & the subsequent booking for the additional room at the same hotel for the same dates at a higher rate was confirmed. All my efforts to get it sorted out didn't yield any result. Even cancellation of the second room was unethically fully charged though there was sufficient time for cancellation. This is not the way to make money!

Unbelievable. They show low rates, but then put up severe challenges while doing payments one cannot imagine. My booking was done since 10 days, and now when they charged, i was getting OTPs to clear the payment, and Agoda has no provision to enter an OTP. As a result i had to book from another site, and then ultimately pay extra.

Dear sir /madam, My experience was very bad, i have booked room for 27 over night, i had paid 1443 rupees and when I went on that address there was no such property. Even I had called many times on toll free number that has given on the website done with the sending email and all. There was not a signal response i am very disappointed with the service. i wish I could give you zero star but there's now such options. I request you to refund my money.

Used Agoda about 4 times now. 1st time, was ok no problems. 2nd time booked 2 days at a hotel and was delayed by the business transporting me. Would not cancel my booking or at least allow me to move it up a day. Called 4 times to their support, 1st time was a new agent who had no idea what she was doing, 2nd time agent told us to wait. Just a debacle dealing with these people. The best part? Booked a hotel who was closed. Checked and the express hotel in Cebu still listed as available.

I had the worst experience for my 2 bookings, am not sure if the issue is from Agoda or from Hotel, when I reached the hotel, hotel staff is not allowing the people with online booking, when I reached to support team, they couldn't help with new other booking so they had to cancel the hotel bookings, there should be prior communication from hotel or from Agoda team that they are not accepting the online booking so we would plan it accordingly but nothing until I reached the hotel. Don't book any
