Agora - The best images by people of the world

Enjoy looking at the inspiring pics every time. 2 things I'd like to see restored: the level of each creator & the number of works each has posted. With only a limited amount of time to enjoy looking I need the gauge of number of works to enable me to give each creator a fair shake. Thanks!

I have not even opened the app once and have 0 minutes used. With that being said it has used 23mb in just over 14 days, permissions disabled except for storage, as soon as it's force stopped it will be running again with background services off, within a minute . Now clicking on data used you can turn off background data, just saw that, probably will stop also it has 0 permissions now, probably have to change that if I actually check it our.

After the new updation the app is unable to open. When opening the app it's showing update the app when click on update the app button it's redirect to app store and the app is already updated. Please fix the issue. Tried reinstalling the app it's also not working.

Rating one star post the new update. Cannot get free credits by watching video. The free credit feature was removed and now you cannot get credits without inviting friends or purchasing the credits. Not user friendly at all. Really disappointing

The app was already quite painful to use, and a recent update has now made it even worse. The developers seem to have changed the app purely so they can jump on the NFT bandwagon. The help for this change is practically non-existent, just like the help for every other part of the app. Where there was levels and stars for doing things before, now it has changed to "hearts" and the levels have disappeared. Again, no help or information as to why. Needed improvement before, now needs it even more.

I just updated my agora app and it won't open anymore. I haven't had any issues using agora up until I updated. Please fix. Thank you.

I have been using agora for a few weeks I am really inspired by the photographs and I feel I have learnt from it. I vote for the top 50 in competions. I feel encouraged when others like my posts. Though I have tried a few times to contact for help I haven't been able to get through. I am wondering if you can add a # once you have posted your photo? I would think it would be great if documentaries could be translated into different languages.

This app is incredibly slow, forgets searches when you try return to the search, loads images slow, stutters all the time, should have a filter feature to search for junior, advanced and pro profiles. Once in a profile you are constantly going back and forth to see images, always having to use the back button to choose the next image, should be a flow slide to make it easy. EDIT: The reply makes no attempt to specifically address the concerns raised, what steps will be taken?

It's an interesting app specifically designed for photography. It's easy to navigate and everything is quite simple. I really like the contests that are introduced every week or so, because it focuses on a specific theme. A feature that would be nice to add, is the ability to edit the description of photos as I don't want to delete them and post again with a new description. Also the home page shows my pictures first which is not necessary in my opinion as you have your own profile option.

maybe it was device-specific, or maybe more debugging was needed but when I first started using this app, i was very disappointed. So many images got lost from app crashes, sometimes id get stuck on a screen being forced to force quit the app, but now, whether its the nexus phone im using or the developers updates the app works just as fluidly and consistently as you would expect from a photo contest social network and I am proud to be a part of it. Keep it up, and thank you!

Everything seems possible in this app except deleting your account, which seems rather convenient. I have been trying to deactivate my account for three days following the instructions of a miss Lola, but I suspect the app is blocking me from doing so. Ever since my first message (which has been ignored), my messages are not even being delivered, nor can I open the help centre anymore. I fail to understand why it is not a given option for the users to delete their accounts on their own.

Love the platform and the worldwide sharing. Been using it for about 8 months now and really got me wanting to photograph more and more. It's an awesome way to see other peoples point of view from around the globe. Awesome opportunity to get your art known and to sell your images. Yet have to sell any but still a great app. The only thing is the new credits addition, would be nice to have another means of earning them. Best photo community in my opinion. Love the contest opportunities.

Using since few days and I'm extremely in love with the app but im facing a few problems as well; 1. The app was good and enough fast initially but now, its getting slower and slower, even takes hour to launch the app and load images, and sometimes also fails to upload imagea amd say nothing. 2. When im uploading an image, it doesn't show me the category of image as its showing it in the website page, like nature, art, portrait etc. Looking for any help or fix to this. thanks

It's a good app for me to show our photos to everyone, however uploading photos were not that simple because we have to used credits. In my case, I just waited for the video bonus to pop up but unfortunately everytime I checked my account every 2 hours it said that "wait for your next ad video". Been waiting for so long and there's no video ad showing. Please do help me by fixing this. Looking forward for your response. Thank you.

Is an awesome platform full of photographers from all over the world 🌏. The sights of the photo adventure Is overwhelming. Is also a good platform to display your beautiful shots.Am updating this review based on my own personal experiences on the platform. I suggest there should be more chances than the very tiny one that they got, i have seen that the platform is overwhelmed with awesome and spectacular shots. Imagine a contest of over 5000 photographers, where only one photo gets the crown.

I love the app. It's really a good app and the ideia of it it's good too. However, and I might be wrong, I think it should be only for original photos. I see many pictures that seems edited, with some effects. Although it would make better the pictures, an original picture shows us the world as the photographer saw.

[Update: Albeit its a bit early to post an update, but I've seen improvement in the app on some issues. Removing one item from 'Cons' list] ------------ Love the app. ---- Pros: 1) Amazing content: The app provides a platform for people around the world to share their creations. A lot of content is truly inspirational and top quality. 2) Effective gamification: You need to earn credits in order to post (more of) your images to competitions. You can either buy credits or watch an Ad every 2 hours. You actually wait for the 2 hours so you can watch and earn credits. Never thought i'd ever do that - gamification at its best. 3) Novel influence of account levels: As you increase your level, your star-ing (giving thumbs up) takes on more weight. Rather than doing a +1 on the star count, you will have a +N effect, where N is your level. This creates an interesting dynamic of who is following you and how important you are to the community. ---- Cons: 1) Arbitrary Top 50 selection: Top 50 images in a contest are selected by Agora team. The selection seems arbitrary, where a lot of good content is left out and some very basic content is shortlisted as top 50. This is happening to a point where people I know have lost interest in voting. There should be more transparency in the selection process. 2) Lack of official forum: There is no way to voice issues/concerns and share ideas about improvements in app.

What kind of the app has been developed? I couldn't even create my account. While adding email address for creating, it doesn't show "@" on keyboard. But while adding user name, it's showing that. That's funny. After all fill ups, finally when you click on "Continue" button, the waiting wheel keeps rotating for long n long n long time. And after you tired, if you tried to go back clicking on back button, that back button doesn't work. And so, the app will not allow you to create an account and you'll only keep watching others works.

I am giving 3 stars because it's not much interactive and doesn't have much features like you can't even comment on other photos, can't see your own no. of followers and following. It's user interface is similar to that of Instagram but not interactive as that. Hope to see some new features soon in new updates.

I am.on the app since 2018,it's amazing,I really like,and you can learn so much.The only complain is that I followed the Agora images page,but for months now I can't get on the (it says error,and contact the support..) ,I send 2emails on the support page but till now I got ignored,usually they fix things.And no I try to contact you and it doesn't even let me,and I try to get on creators page to follow other photographers and it doesn't let me,it says Error...please fix it.Thank you!
