Since 2006, the Ministry of Agriculture has been implementing the budget program "Information support of agribusiness entities for free", within the framework of which a system of measures for the transfer of knowledge in the agro-industrial complex has been formed on the basis of 11 Knowledge Distribution Centers and regional consultants of Kazagromarketing JSC.
Topics of scientific and practical seminars were formed based on the real needs of agribusiness entities based on a survey of potential recipients of services. The seminars were held in the context of the following topics: veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, resource-saving technologies, vegetable growing, cotton growing, fodder production, appraisal, approbation, aquaculture, beekeeping, plant protection, fruit growing, sheep breeding, management, rice growing.
Currently in Kazakhstan, agricultural production employs more than 217 thousand operating agricultural units. Most agricultural producers do not have special education, or their professional skills are concentrated only in certain highly specialized agricultural sectors.
The costs of the functioning of the system of dissemination of knowledge are financed by the state, which is one of the measures of indirect support to agricultural producers. As a result, the state, as a beneficiary, has a relatively stable agricultural sector and a standard of living for the rural population, achieved by constantly increasing the competitiveness of products and labor productivity, the operational introduction and dissemination of advanced technologies.
The media coverage of the project is carried out by the Center together with the Public Relations Department of the Atameken RPC and the Regional Chambers of Entrepreneurs. Over the entire period of the project, materials were published in print media, Internet resources and TV, including television programs on the Qazaqstan, Khabar, Kazakh TV, Atameken Business channels.
