Ah Q Go - AlphaGo Deep Learning technology

Such a comprehensive app. I'm very impressed. So many features and tools for playing, watching, learning and anylizing go... It's truly remarkable. My one suggestion would be to clean up the UI a little bit. It took me a while to figure out how to navigate and use all the features and I still don't entirely understand some of the options.

Really good AI go app that can go to almost professional level. I may have a chance to win a few games. I learned from its winning graph. It also seems that the current leela engine has a bug? It cannot accurately calculate 征子 sometimes.

Smart engine, usable interface. The required read/write file permission is really annoying though. We do not need this. You can implement engine downloads/loads in the sandbox (internal) storage and handle sgf in same way or with FileProvider API. Check out the Storage Access Framework (SAF). Actually it's a *better* option since we could use other data providers besides local storage.

This is awesome. All the time updated games. Maybe I'm missing it, but I'd like to see what league they are playing the game for. Also, I'd like a button that would automatically play the game so I don't have to keep pushing the next button and that would need a speed option too. Thanks.

Looked interesting, but since it refuses to open if you don't grant unnecessary permissions, I uninstalled. I know the permission are for loading files etc, but I don't need that functionality. The permissions should be optional. Please make that change and I'll consider downloading it again and changing my rating.

Good app. Though, how do you change difficulty and what is the rating of each engine in term of go ranking? For example, leela zero had a range from 30k-9d, how do I adjust its difficulty? Thank you.

Keep crashing on some of the games. Almost half of all games. Also it will be great if there is a tap-on-board-to-advance option fo r reviewing.

The app is nicely done and the AI is fantastic, but why does it need storage write & read permissions to run? It closes if you refuse to grant them. That is so annoying and quite frankly unacceptable for me.

Great app to play and review! The option to choose different weights with totally different styles is brilliant. Big thanks to the developers! =) Only one small conplain: it seems like AI in HawkEye review mode doesn't take into account game komi. In 0.5 komi game, where W is 2.5points behind, AI shows W 99%win even after last pass. In exactly the same early fuseki position with komi 6.5 and - 6.5 it shows the same winning percentage for the same moves regardless of komi.

Amazing app! Thank you for this!! Although I noticed that sgf files with certain filenames will not load. After changing the filenames to something small it works well.

Five star app, however I'd love the option to play games using adjustable time controls for both players (Fischer, byo-yomi, absolute etc), letting the AI choose how to use the time available.

Great gameplay, would recommend! Can I suggest an option to play on a different board size, e.g. 9x9 or 11x11 or 13x13, which would be good either for beginners or if you only have time for a quick game.

Yes it needs file permissions... to load sgf files! Yes there is a new file access api in newer androids but they'd be cutting out a huge market by requiring it. Its a great tool!

Is there a premium version? Could be interesting make a premium version with email related, thus we can save our games/progress and even use our account in different mobiles, which can be very useful for everyone.

The app is buggy. Once it told me that the best move was to put a on a non vacant space and now ah q hawk eye reviews won't complete. will reinstall and hope for the best

Excellent. Pachi freezes sometimes. And would love to have it on my PC/Mac! Those are the only criticisms from me.

The review mode is very handy. Hope the app have diferent AI level to choose as opponent.

Great app fun games although the 18k-10 pachi doest work. 2nd move AI just passes each turn and game will be unplayable so i can only do 4 star atm.

Cannot find where to switch on Japanese rules, AI seems to play all the way to capture all prisoners at the end of the game. Edit: reply to developer: too bad you chose to NOT support Japanese rules, it's a shame.

Very good to play with AI, and review pro ganes. It will be better if it lets me to play with other people.

Demands access to my personal files for no reason, and closes when I refuse. I can't use the app.

need a help file to explain the AI play setting for time limit, play out limit(?), thread(?) and AI level etc.

Great app for go analysis. Some of the English translation isn't perfect.

I installed it. it asked for access to my photos. denied. so the app closed and won't work . now it's uninstalled. good riddance

Pretty great app for reviewing go games. Haven't tried many of the other aspects but it seems like a solid product.

I was skeptical at first, but the app does a pretty good job of analysing my sgf files. I love it.

this is by far the best mobile Go app you can find, for players at all levels.
