So bad. Was this app designed as part of an undergrad project? It came pre-installed in my Honda and I thought it would be a good way to keep the phone out of sight. But the interface is next to useless. Then I thought I would install the app on my phone and manage it from there. But the phone app doesn't sync with my Amazon Music account properly, so I can't add all of my playlists to the homescreen for use from the car interface. And there isn't even a shuffle button. So poor, so bad.
The app came pre installed in my Toyota, with little information on how to use the app. However, ran the app using the guest ID and one thing I did notice was the excellent sound quality. However, although lots of content, none was to my liking. Linked my Amazon music account, following instructions on website. Run app on phone then started the app on car. I can see Amazon on the car screen, but no audio. when I close the car app the music starts to play on the phone. I have put enough time into this app, can't get close to making it work, so deleted the app...categorized has rubbish
I use this app to download software to the hub. Syncing issues are a common occurance. Usually a constant "your software is up to date" or "download failed". For a manufacturer supported app that is an upgrade, its sad. It would be great if there was a stripped down version of this that just allows you to push software updates - after all I use android auto for my music and podcasts. Also, it would be great if the app had a real shutdown option rather and force stop.
The app is OKish, I use it primarily for Amazon music in my car. The interface is a bit clunky but all my playlists set as favourites it is useable. My biggest gripe and if this were fixed I'd happily give more stars - there is no way to turn on shuffle within the app when listening to playlists from Amazon which means I hear the same 10 songs from the beginning of all my playlists. Add a shuffle button when playing from amazon music and I'll be very happy!
Apparently this is required to update the head unit software in my car. It is very, very abysmal. Auto-plays content I never asked it to play, does not close when I close it and shows a persistent notification, and now I am actually trying to update my head unit software and after many failed attempts to even see the download progress it now constantly says "refreshing session."
My Forester wouldn't connect to my home wireless, so this was my only option to update the head unit software. Upon launching, Aha connected right up with the head unit and I thought, "Well, this is great!". Halfway through the software download, it disconnected and had to be reconnected 20 times before the DL finished. It completed 30 minutes later. I instantly uninstalled Aha. If I can't even keep it connected for a simple update, I want no part of it. 2 stars for eventually working.
Does not work--only downloaded because it is apparently essential to update my Subaru system. I've tried several times to get it to communicate with. My phone and it just won't do it. I can get Amazon and npr one to play on my car through my phone so I figure the app is just too dysfunctional. I tried to reach out to customer service and all I get is a spinning wheel. There has to be a better app
Avoid. Very poor experience - won't let me sign in, won't reset my password. The website doesn't work, and the app comes up with invalid certificate errors. Is this even a professional organisation? Pointless because of all this, it means I cannot set it up in the car. So, I'll stick to using Android auto. Honda, quick message for you, you wasted your and by extension my money by dealing with these idiots.
Is there a negative stats option? What benefit is this supposed to have, because I can see none. Google account signup doesn't work. Did connect quickly to my 2019 Subaru Ascent (a car I love). I see it's powered by Harmon Kardon, thus the integration. But it's completely useless to me. Come on, Subaru, give us something better, please! Like Waze/Spotify! Uninstalled 5 minutes after setting up an account, and 1 minute after connecting with my Ascent.
Works at best 5% of the time with the Aha app in my Subaru Outback. Most of the time it just spins and tried to connect. Even if it finally connects, it's almost impossible to change channels without it stalling again. Pretty useless.
Still not working. Stop cannot connect with Google account. You can click and touch Google all you want on the screen will not do a thing. Neither restart uninstall reinstall. Google recognizes you're trying to do something even when you click agree. And go back to the app still nothing.
Have been trying to get this app to work for almost 10 months! I keep getting emails to confirm my account. How many times do I have to do this. App keeps running on my smartphone and the only way I can shut it down is to restart my phone. This app is a PIA and totally worthless. Sorry Subaru, still love you, but I'm done with Aha!!!
Hopeless app, doesn't work with suzuki, neither as a guest nor with account. Moreover tried with usb cable and without. Even for the added favourite stations it says no content available. Not sure why this app was selected and Integrated with suzuki at the first place itself. Android connect is much better.
Combining this with Subaru infotainment system is ridiculously difficult. I can never get updates to work and now it says my login info is wrong but the reset password link doesn't work, just times out. This app makes me hate my Subaru.
Installed 10272019, incredible audio on podcast I've been searching for. Tysm!!!!... and looking forward to uninterrupted listening. Will update should issues occur. Problems after a month usage, would not upload, could not play podcast and searches became unavailable. Reduction to 1 star from 5. 11232019
Great idea but very poorly executed. Extremely frustrating both when used in my Android phone and in-car. Other than buffering issue, the app has it's own mind whether to respond or not to any input. I wouldn't recommend it, especially when driving.
Works ok. Sync with suzuki connect is good. I see two problems. There is a downlods tab, but i am not sure how to use it. I have an amazon music account (prime in India), but after signing into amazon premium service from aha, i only see a big notice saying "stay tuned for information regarding availability in your country"... But Amazon music is available in India....
Good selection of genre's/channels. My main gripe is that within Android Auto it only plays 2 songs (using any channel) and repeats only those same 2 endlessly. Aha is built into my head unit and sold as a feature in my 2016 Honda Accord. I'll email Aha support and add their reply if it's helpful.
Pure trash! If I can give a Negative 🌟 it would merit it... I tried registering with my emails. Facebook. Google account. In the end it keeps saying that it doesn't recognize my emails. Changed my password 3 times, fails to log in. Don't waste your time. This came with my car and i find it disgusting that this product is even in my car and I can't remove it.
My car head unit says to use this app for updates but it doesn't work - keeps telling me to open the app when its already open. Useless. I know my phone is paired to the car because Android Auto and music playback work fine.
I didn't even get to use the app properly. It not only freezes and won't load the preloaded stations, the app wouldn't let me close it. Even rebooted my phone several times and tried again. It linked with my Subaru just fine, but that didn't exactly help.
I had to use this to update my Subaru head unit. At first, it downloaded the update but when I tried to install, nothing happened. Then I had to download again via my phone as it doesn't work via wifi. It stopped at 69% and sat there for a while. I clicked AHA on the head unit and the "update software via wifi or connect your phone...." popped up again, then it continued to download. it stopped again at 76%, I had to click AHA a few times on head unit to finally download and install.
I gave it a try but wasn't impressed. The app showed up on my car one day so I downloaded the app on my phone, signed up, signed in.. And didn't see anything special. But the app does work with my Mazda. I'll probably delete it in a few days.
It seems like Aha may have shut down. The website does not want to load. The app will not allow me to complete sign up. Their Facebook account last posted 4 years ago. Really disappointed to purchase a brand new car that utilizes this app for updates, let alone provides it as a standard app that cannot be used.
This app is clunky and akward. It's a shame Subaru synched all their cars to such a horrible app. You are better off streaming from the bluetooth on your phone. Tried this app for a year and just quit using it in favor of bluetooth streaming off my phone.
I don't think I've ever encountered an app as horrendous as this one. I can't even make an account. I put in my information, and press submit but all it does is boot me out of the app. The options to sign up with Facebook or Google have to be some sort of joke between developers. When you press the Google option, the button disappears. When you press the Facebook option, it gives you an error saying "this app is still in development mode and you don't have access." Terrible, truly truly awful.
