AHA eBook Reader

Everything is good except you can't read the text. On a computer, it is ok. On a tablet or a smartphone, you can't see the text even at maximum sizing. There is no way to expand it so that defeats the purpose of a tablet or smartphone access. The flowcharts are not readable. Only the text is. Yes, you apologize, feedback helps improve, blah,blah, blah. Reach out to us directly, yada, yada, yada. How do you give the app negative 10 stars?

I started using this app to conduct training in my training center this year. I find it not very user friendly as in order to open both the instructor manual and the video at the same time, I need to open it on 2 separate devices, which is not cost effective. The app for the video is very buggy. The issue I have is that when you watch the video on full screen, you are not able play the next video without minimizing the screen. But when you press ESC to minimize the screen, it bugs out and will not minimize. The only way to minimize the screen then is by replaying the video and quickly pausing it and pressing the ESC key at the same time. Only then it minimizes. If you have slow reflexes, the same video replays and your students will be watching you struggle trying to move on to the next video. I am hoping your developer can fix this ASAP. Also, it would be great if you can open the ebook on the same computer with the video running.

I can say great improvements done with the app. I requested support to reset my device limit and now I am able to access my ebooks with my new devices. However, I noticed that changing between pages is not that smooth and a bit laggy but is considerably acceptable compared with my previous experience. Nice feature to point out is that I am able to add highlights and make notes. Thank you.

Just purchased the ACLS ebook, the search button is not working. For example, after you type in a word on the search box and after clicking on the search button. It just keeps on displaying searching for the past 5minutes and counting. It does not display any keyword. It just keep on searching and the circle on the right just keep on circling. Update: may 12, problem still persist. And i cannot add my pals ebook and cannot find my other ebooks on the website.

I've been using for a month or so, a very disappointing experience. U can't retrieve the toolbar once u open the page for reading. Navigation with page number is not available. The notes I write do not automatically appear on the same page and writing free notes on the blank spaces is not allowed 🚫 now I wonder if ur ebooks can open with any other reading app?!

A reader that doesn't allow zooming in and uses tiny fonts for algorithms that are literally needed to save someone's life? Idiotic. If only were someone would invent a reader that was easy to use - maybe they could call it Adobe Acrobat, or Android files, or ...

Terrible app! Pictures are embedded and small. Can't click them to open. Can't pinch and zoom. It's like an app from the early Gen 1 android/iPhones. It really is. And I paid money for this! I'm getting the hardcopy of the ACLS. Can absolutely not rely on the AHA Reader.

I've been trying to download the videos I purchased to this app for weeks and it's still not working. I've tried the help icon and the only thing they could offer is to uninstall and reinstall and restart my computer. Absolutley useless app. I need to download my videos for my classes and have been unable to with no help being offered at all.

One of the worst apps I've ever used. Consistently will not allow access to my ebooks. Used to be able to use ipublish to access purchased ebooks but apparently no longer. Now we get this junk that says "please wait" for 30 minutes then white screen. Have to redownload every single time and still only lets me open books half the time. Terrible..

The app is very confusing to work and I keep running into errors whenever I try to do something. I can't access my ACLS, PALS, and etc. ebooks. This is very inconvenient: I wish the AHA website would just allow people to download pdfs of the ebooks instead of having to use this broken middleman app. This app makes me regret I bought the ebooks and not the physical copies.

I would not suggest using this app or purchasing the videos or any ebooks. I wasted almost 100 dollars purchasing the BLS streaming video and it has yet to work or even show up in my shelf. AHA received their money but I haven't gotten anything. I agree that tech support is useless. That little tag when you purchase their product that says no refunds for electronic services is quite fitting considering no one has been able to use the product.

I would give it zero stars if possible. It wouldn't work, couldn't log in to my account. Tried tech support.....useless. they suggested in the end that I try it on a different phone....like I have multiple. Just allow users to use Kindle...that app actually works. Wish I had never purchased the Ebook.

App does not download anything. About to take the BLS course and was hoping to use the tablet. NownI will be taking my computer. Attempting to download the needed books should be easy but only got network error. App downloads fine but seems to work strangely when using it.

Wish I could control my phone brightness. When I open something to read and it turns out ask the way up it sometimes makes it impossible to read off I'm laying in bed or in a dark area. Time for day shifts terrible for nights

The BLS and ACLS "student"/provider books are not available. Changing any app settings such as language doesn't filter the books by language. Please save the environment and don't waste any more resources such as your time on this app.

Worst app that i ever seen the text isn't open to read

It is good but some books don't open and there is no option how to re download books those fail to open. I have purchased and downloaded ACLS book but one of the book does not open and shows error , re-download. This has caused trouble because I'm not able to read that book. If possible kindly do the needful.

Just purchased the ACLS ebook few days ago. At first, they did not give me an access code. Now they gave me the access code but it's invalid. Could not even see my purchased ebook. So frustrating. Still waiting for help.

Very bad application. Most of time I Can not reach the books to study for ACLS. On my tablet it keeps shutting down with no results. On mobile the fonts are verrrry smal and too annoying The worst application ever

The app is not useful and navigation is very frustrating. In addition it overrides the brightness settings of your device and you cannot read at night...

Very convenient for instructors, can play and download course videos without wifi, where ever you need! Can be slightly buggy to use but the app works well.

Too clunky please improve the user interface. Its really hard to cruise through the pages and most of the time its not even functioning the way an ebook reader should be.

I have worked 5 dayys on this. It6 keeps getting deleated . I use 1 2 time then gets deleated. i would like to use offline when the wifi buffers and doesnot come back. Everything works in theroy

My purchased books don't show at all in the app. I can only read them online from a web browser but there is no way I can read or download them to the app. Blant terrible.

The app is useless. Can't log in, can't get to bookshelf. Ended up having to read the book online with spotty internet during the course. Poor show. This app does not deserve the one star given.

I am unable to play the videos through the app. If that is fixed, the app will be great. This feature works on an apple device.

It is embarrassing for the AHA logo to be on this app. I can't imagine anyone possibly being able to use the BLS provider manual to learn BLS. Pages don't fit. Normal gestures don't work. Really disappointing...

The ebook is not optimized for mobile view when using the app through a cellphone. This makes actually using the ebook very difficult. Please fix this issue.
