Seems according to recent reviews it has gotten better. No issues watching games and in full screen. I have watched many games on my Android phone. Watched even more on my Sony TV. The one issue I have is on the app for my phone. I often can not watch a game live, I must watch it a day later. Only on my Android phones I go to pick the game for on-demand and it shows the scores. Not much point in watching it if I already know the outcome. The TV and computer does not show the scores.

This app is still as horrible now as it was in January 2020. The interface is very slow to respond, looks terrible on a small screen, and some of the buttons just don't make sense. Watching AHLtv, two black bars cut off both sides of the picture, including most of the AHL logo. You also can't cast to your TV from the app. What's the point of installing this? I'll just keep using the website (which isn't much better).

Just updated to the newest version, and I have to receive all notifications even if I just want the final score. For some reason the notifications are either all or none. Individual notification settings just don't work. At least this function worked on the old version. Please fix. Also, why when starting the app why TAP TO ENTER.. just take to the last screen that was viewed when the app was used (ie... standings, scores, news). Not very impressed with the new version.

Edit (#3): had to uninstall and reinstall before I was able to watch the stream. Not able to switch to Away broadcast. Have to keep on touching the screen so it doesn't fall asleep and lock. But at least its full screen now! If you are looking to watch the AHL Roku is the best way, the App is good over there. Don't expect much watching on Android

Essentially useless on a tablet. When you go to watch in fullscreen in portrait it won't go fullscreen and remove the navigation menu on the sidebar. Going portrait goes full screen except then you only use a third of the screen and it's small AF. On top of that, rotating the screen kicks you out and you have to sign back in. AHL TV is useless from a tablet, presumably a phone too. Compatibility with chromecast would be nice, aside from the instructions to just "cast the tab". That's not really being chromecast compatible guys...

Awful. The latest update makes it impossible to go straight to the scores page. It also makes it impossible to control notifications, flooding the device with updates on every little thing (e.g. penalties, etc.) whether you want them or not. Unusable. Deleted. I tried for a few weeks, sincerely I did, but I just can't endure it anymore.

The AHL staff need to be on time with stats updates (scores, time, etc). Televized version, when the game has ended, it's still in session on the app even on roku or firestick. As for the app, I tried watching a game recently and it wouldn't work so I had to go to On Demand. This time it says Playback Error. I'm paying $44.99 for the season, the least you can do is let your customers get their money's worth.

Until about 3 weeks ago, it was fine. Apparently there was an update (to my phone op sys perhaps) and it's useless now. I want to cast to our Smart TV which I was able to do on February 15, and the app will not allow auto rotate so we see it is portrait mode. YES I have checked that my phone is set to auto rotate. Useless.

have really enjoyed this app, but it can be irritating when the sound stops, picture freezes, no replays are shown. when on the schedule page, the link to Live game is practically non existent, a sliver of what it should be... you have to press just right, otherwise, just keep trying.

Every time I try to go full screen on my note 9, it crashes the app. With the technology we have today, this is extremely unacceptable for a paid service. Alot of times, I'll be watching my teams game, the feed will disappear, and when I try to get back in it tells me the broadcast has not started yet. What a joke of an app.

I don't like the recently updated app. Maybe its my phone but ever since the recent update I have a ton of lag and unresponsivenes. It tags forever to load it seems. Seems to be less simple then before the update. I like simplicity and easy tabs to direct you to the info. Tabs for standings, stats, news, and audio broadcasts would be nice. I also am not a fan of the expensive AHL TV format. I am happy with online radio broadcasting and finding games on TV via MSG, NHL, and regional networks.

Had way better functionality before the update the other day. Team notifications are now spotty and on top of that when you open a boxscore from a game and click on a player, now when you press back to get out of the player page and go back to the boxscore it instead exits back to the main menu of the app. Looks nice though..

After signing up to watch one game, I was disappointed to not be able to watch on the app. Had to go to website and sign in. Slow, buggy, pages didn't display right, overlap between controls and content. Bad design.

Starting this season, I've been unable to use the AHLTV feature. It was buggy before this year, but at least I could watch. I've got everything logged in and updated and nothing on the AHLTV tab will load at all. If I try to go in through the scores tab or any other way the app crashes.

A pretty basic experience. It works, but the app on my phone cuts off the edges, unlike on my Android set top which actually uses the same app I sideloaded (why is there no native Android TV app?) While the web page looks fine. I did find it confusing to get back to live play, and some telecasts were plagued by poor or nonexistent sound.

This app is truly horrible. It is almost completely non-responsive and frequently freezes completely. Graphics regularly fail to load and the overall layout looks like it was done by some kids in a high school programming class. Terrible UI, terrible UX. The AHL should be ashamed of this product.

Would love to tell you something about this app, but I can't. Would give it a zero if I had the option. At least it has a lovely picture of a puck sitting on the ice, in a net...such a pretty picture, which I stared at for about 10 minutes before losing all hope that the AHL cared about making an app that worked on my S8+. At least we have a team back in Belleville, otherwise there would seriously be NOTHING to do on a Wednesday night.

Update looks nice, but has deficiencies. Old settings wiped out by update; redid settings after update at least 2x and they keep changing back. App frequently crashes since last update while running in background. Wish old version was still available. Just Sayen.

This application is the slowest one i ever used. Takes way too long to load up the home page and way way too long to load up the score page, sometimes only half of the page loads up and i must wait a few minutes for the whole page to load up...what a f___king joke. And no scoring widgets!!! Boo

Received a push notification that if I was having issues with the app the install and reinstall. That did not work. I had top goop into App Settings and clear all of the memory.

Have to relogin every time with no option to save the info. Trying to get to fullscreen in AhlTV kicks me out into the login screen where I get to repeat the process over and over. No chromecast support. Thank jeebus I still have a desktop computer.

App is very limited. Unless I'm missing a feature you cannot expand the view to a full screen which is limiting on my phone. Also it doesn't appear that you can access the livestream through the AHL app.

Terrible app. I can't watch AHL TV with it because it freezes up. I tried to fix it by clearing the cache and data. I have even tried to uninstall and reinstall that app. It still doesn't work.

Notification quite working. My Notification quite working after working for the first part of the season. I have uninstalled and reinstall the app and it doesn't work. Please fix
