AI Dungeon

I truly used to enjoy this game. But now I am just not enjoying ANYTHING about it anymore. The AI is a VEGETABLE. It is just. A vegetable. A delusional vegetable. And I am sick of it. I can NEVER play a good game of AI Dungeon anymore. I still remember my first game to this day, and it was like a daydream. Would've rated it 4 stars if the ACTUAL AIs weren't locked behind a subscription. This is terrible. This is disappointing. Do not play if you can't afford any of their subscriptions.

This app is amazing in so many ways, it isn't kidding when it says that the AI is topnotch. I downloaded it not really thinking much of it. When I created my own world I honestly spent the rest of the day in there just getting immersed with the characters. Sometimes you do have to hold the AI's hand, but after awhile it's starts feeling more and more interactive and comes up with interesting scenarios. My best advice? Think of it like one of those low budget visual novels.

The game is a little better, but still a bit buggy. The AI isn't always accurate or remember parts of the story. Its hit and miss, I am using the free version though so I can only assume that these problems are fixed with Dragon, but Dragon is way way too expensive for me personally, if it was cheaper or you only needed a one time payment to use it, then I wouldn't complain but to get unlimited Dragon its $30 monthly!

You should try this thing out. It's basically an adventure game but the AI brings life to your scenarios. Although sometimes it might not work, you can just retry to see another outcome and it would most likely make sense. You can also use the memory tab so that the AI can remember some stuff about you or the other characters. Only bad thing about this is the energy but I do my best to support them by watching ads. You can watch ads to replenish energy. Overall, great game.

This game used to be great. The ai was smooth nothing broke half of the time but now it's just getting so buggy and slow. I spend more of my time using the story and retry button. The ai repeats itself over and over again. And it doesn't even understand the plot of any world you make. The ai has been terrible for me. The 2d image thing also sucks. It only shows fantasy and knight type of things. It doesn't go with the story. I remember doing a punch In the story and all it showed was a castle.😕

I love the app, I find it great on the computer and a few months back on the phone. But as of last month I tried paying it again on my Sony phone and wasn't able to log into my account, each time I tried it would refresh the app. It seems like it was updated since then though as now it just tells me the servers are unavailable. I can still use it on the pc so I'm not complaining. Just hoping it will be fixed soon.

This used to be absolutely amazing, but with all the paid things in the game, plus the menus being hade to navigate, it's just not as good. Sure the AI has improved, but you have to pay for the real deal, and used to the menu was 3 buttons, just 3, and it's all it needed, now idk what's going on, I also have to sign in every other week, but the latest update mentioned fixing log in issues, so hopefully that's fixed

I have to keep changing my review, as more and more things decide to break. Extremely frustrating to pay for an app that doesn't work half the time. Many different errors that don't allow me to continue the story. The AI repeats CONSTANTLY. AI quality will randomly go downhill. I pay for the $10 subscription for the better AI that doesn't do anything at all, and I can't even see an "energy" level like they say there is for Dragon. So disappointing that it just keeps going downhill.

Before a certain update, it would just occasionally log me out when I'd leave the app and come back to it. Now I can't log into the app at all! Also maybe put a SEIZURE WARNING out; whenever I open the app my screen flickers black and white before showing the main page. I didn't mind all of that since I could still play it, but since I can't login at all anymore, the app is useless. I've noticed that a lot of stories from other people got deleted, nothing comes up from the search.

They managed to fix the typing issue, but now I can't create or access my own scenarios. I can't even see the profile picture anymore. This app only gets worse and worse each update. From taking longer to load, breaking basic things, and making the AI worse I've had enough. I'm disappointed and feel for anyone that spent money on this pile of disappointment that could be fixed after an hour of writing basic code. This app used to be so great but now it is barely worth mentioning.

This game is a shell of its former self, but I don't think it's irredeemable. Most of the main complaints like the AI's memory issues are overblown (honestly, it was like that before the new UI), and the censorship was honestly probably for the best given what's happened with auto generation. Worlds are...fine, but I do miss the old prompt system. As to the paywall, that's where the issue comes in. Premium silver and gold are reasonable, but voyage is pushing it and platinum is just ridiculous.

Fun, but frustrating. The AI has been improving for sure, but every now and then it'll repeat similar things even when I've been rolling for something new or editing it. Dragon is absolutely broken beyond repair, so don't bother buying it, sadly. I was hyped to try it but after buying it my AI worked like utter garbage. But as of recent it's been good.

This game/tool is actually really neat, in part, the randomness helps in tackling writers block for my D&D campaigns or characters or just writing in general. It's a real neat app, course, not a fan of the subscription, but I get it and they aren't mandatory or even needed for the more casual player. Besides all that, yall are doing great, keep it up!

love making stories with the ai but some big problems I have is that at times when I press the button to have the ai write something it just gets stuck in a infinite loading loop and doesn't respond or post what I say at all. And at times the game won't undo stuff no matter how many times I press undo. Lastly, I wish ai dungeon 2D would have art that was more accurate to what's going on in my stories. The images just don't match anything I or the ai make. It gets less accurate thw more you go.

Won't let me log in. Just keeps repeating that it's having trouble reaching the AI. When I went to check if AI Dungeon was down it shows no issue. Cleared cache and user data with no change. Tried BOTH log in buttons, one works like half the time. Update: It was an issue with my space. Needed to uninstall some apps to even log in which was a little annoying not going to lie. Other than that the app is pretty fun but the AI is fairly limited and censors a lot of things. I still come back though.

I love the game, it's amazing and all but there's slight problem I've been having. while I'm in the middle of typing or just waiting for a response, it keeps bringing me into 'view adventure' which makes me lose my progress in writing. I know I'm not clicking random things, but it's a bit frustrating.

I wish they had more variery with the stories. So far the only plot is the evil snow queen is spreading winter. There's also a wonderland option. At least add like one or two other plots. Sure, the story changes based on your decisions but the plot remains the same across multiple worlds. Lately everytime there is an update it logs me out and everytime it logs me out i have to reset my password. Even when i type the correct user and password it says its wrong till I reset it.

Really good. AI sometimes will give you bruh moments, but overall is really good. But I want the option to change the temperature of the AI with your energy or scales. I mean, sometimes I kinda want a little bit less randomness in my story but if I have to pay just to change this parameter is not ok for me. Something like 0.05 change in temperature will cost you 5 scales or something like this will be fine.

Still not working. Can't login and support says it will be solved. The login buttons are broken. Support mentioned here that Android 8 wouldn't be supported. Web version is actually getting slower but still working for Android 8. I think the problem comes from outdated certificates and information in transit, or else censored. It seems there are many updates and some are conflicting access to some users.

The interface is just way too poor. The text goes off the screen when answering questions for other people's scenarios, adding things to trash doesn't work 80% of the time, you can't click on the story before deleting to make sure it's the right one, and there's no way to search for tags. I don't feel like this is a lot to ask for *They also took away the creativity/permadeath options, for whatever reason...

Really great app/game and I love the concept of trying to play it with your imagination and things like that. However, the AI sometimes has errors such as "Mark says" without any context. It doesn't complete certain sentences and just says "Mark says". I love it how you can train the AI to talk like you and such. Love it! Please fix the errors.

Super fun to play around with. I use it as a tool to help keep the flow going while I am writing and it works great for that! Definitely also recommend you check it out if you read 'Choose Your Own Adventure' type books as a child or enjoy pen and paper role-playing. It's easy to use and has a nice looking interface as well. Love it and will stay subscribed for the foreseeable future. Thanks to the dev team :)

Confusing... There are a lot of AI options that aren't very well explained. To that, only after about a minute of playing any scenario, the AI forcibly tries to end the story. Even editing the prompts, trying to continue the story, the AI will always return with some sort of ending. Not engaging enough to buy when it does that.

This app was way ahead of its time and caused me to buy the "Dragon" AI model to get even better and more coherent stories. But as of right now it is a complete waste of money. The AI constantly goes into infinite feedback loops regardless of what you do and forces you to start anew. Don't buy ANYTHING from Latitude until they finally clean up their act and make the app actually usable. Quite embarrassing for them to sell an "Upgraded" model when it barely functions at all!

The AI isn't really what it used to be. It seems like they had neutered it so it will not try to produce anything creative on its own by learning from people. But it seems almost as if the current state of the AI has had a lobotomy. I liked back when the AI was more crude, it gave it character. Added note: My favorite 4 stories from the old ai model are just gone. Just wonderful, I know for sure I did not, and wouldn't of deleted those ones.

A good time, it's clear they want to do more and are trying to balance the cost of running this kinda massive ai project with keeping it a good experience for users. I personally think some aspect of the app version could use work (mobile world creation, better searching etc.) But I'm glad it's still around and I can spend hours in a world writing away with the ai. There's a certain charm in the creation of a story with ai that is very unique.

The idea is absolutely amazing. But it has its flaws. There have been moments where the AI doesn't remember details that were important to the story. And it runs the story kind of fast, doing things like major time skips over months and even years. It focuses on the grand picture rather than the small important things.

The AI is certainly not bad at all, but the menus. Latitude, these menus don't FEEL better. Just because they have more images and all that jazz doesn't mean they're better. It actually makes me mess up much more now, as I am accustomed to the old interface. But by no means is this a bad app, everyone, you should try it out.

Was once a great game, has gradually dissolved into an overly monetized mess with high censorship (which wasn't always there) that doesn't even make sense half the time. The AI has also become increasingly nonsensical and broken as well with little to no consistency or memory. Is it still decent? Yes, I'd say so, but a far cry from what it once was. I think it's a stepping stone toward future advancements though, like this is the Atari "Pong" of advanced, self-learning-AI-driven games.

The gaming experience has become too cumbersome since I last installed this application. The field to type your actions in has become too narrow, and the actions take too long to compute. And the screen does not scroll in sync with the story. I'm talking about the single person, most basic game mode. With all the options, even the start screen is messy, with too many options.
