Free version is unusable. Pops up an ad for the paid version with every menu action, so that you can't complete even the simplest actions. I can't do enough to tell if it's worth paying.
Seems useful. Wanted to try out for web dev but it's difficult not being able to save documents at all. I'd probably buy it but sadly I can't test it out if I can't save. Not sure if it's a bug or not but I like the app otherwise.
This app WOULD be great. It WANTS to be very badly, but it has a big bad ogre-troll living in it--his name is Paywall. If AIDE is going to charge you to use it, that's fine, but it should do so honestly and up front when you install it from the play store. Intead, it PRETENDS to be a free app, monetized through in-app purchases, but then blocks you from using it in any meaningful way unless you pony up. No saving files. No creating new projects to edit in the first place. Infuriating.
This app occasionally pushes notifications to "remind me to continue" I hate this kind of useless and greedy behavior , you have no right to push useless notifications to my screen without a setting to turn it off. Remove them or put a setting to disable them and I will rate 5
Great, only ide that works good that you can get on your phone... but yrs ago u could save ur project without paying for the feature. I would recommend fixing this because without saving feature I'll most likely need to find a different ide
As a web dev, I am looking for a tool that I can use on the go. This isn't going to be "it". I tried to use some of the basic features I'll need, and was promoted to pay a rather high cost for an app. Dear app developer, you do realize that many code editors on proper computers are free, right? I'm happy to pay you for your hard work, but I gotta see if that is hard work or not, so give us at least a taste of your app's functionality. All I saw was a promise and a sales pitch. No thanks.
The best Android alternative to Brackets! Preview code from within in the app. It automatically makes an index HTML file and CSS file for you in a project folder. Code highlighting, I've not found another code editor this polished on functional for Andriod.
At first i found this app to be cool, everything in this app is all that one need to pay money, do you know something, let me tell you an app is so the owner wants money before even letting users save files, if it has been all online and payed is one has to choose btw them so change your mind. As for me i have the money to pay but i will not because i learn to code for fun and every where i go i want to code that is why i came in for your text editor and if i have to pay for everything i not in
Wanted to buy this, because I feel 9.99 is a better price for it. However, it is missing basic things like using let and const from ES6, and if those are missing who knows what else is.
I had used it and it does not contain enough "stuff" to be a HTML/CSS/JavaScript code editor i.e: it marks "stuff" that is part of ECMAScript e.g: impirt, it does not even accept NodeJS syntax e.g: require(''), and a lot of other factors that it ignores that are part of JavaScript development.
Here I am checked what's updated in AIDE on MAY 2018. I hope they added lessons/supports for ES6 / Bootstrap 4.... But no, only the subscription dialogue that changed 😕
Could not even save a file without being prompted to pay for the pro version. How am I supposed to get a feel for the app when basic features like that don't even work?
Am a real fan of this wonderful app. Am a begginer suffering from poor laptop battery problems to enable me learn well. But thank God I can now learn continousely from my android phone. kudos to the developer of this app.
Elegancy... I can now develop any project anytime, anywhere and whenever. I love it! A great job to the team. Thank you!
It seems alright but since I can't do anything without paying, it's hard to tell. It should be a commercial app instead of pretending to be freemium.
Atleast tell us we can't use the app without purchasing. Rather we are first fooled into downloading it. Anyone looking for good standard should go for older versions of the aide android.
Worst web ide app!! You can't save your website, even preview your website without spending money. I better make websites in notepad atleast it's free!
Kind of expensive for the features. Other ides that wont cost 10 bucks at least a month. Not that serious
nope i was facing - i can't save file and if i open other file , but only one file opens everytime since installed
It doesn't support JavaScript ES6 completely and gives syntax error whereas many other free IDE's support perfectly.
Very little is accessible unless you pay for the premium version.
the wirst app. it changes my correct words to wrong words willingly. so bad app. when i type it writes
Can't even save a file without buying premium. Worst app. Atleast give some free trials.
This is a just a limited demo! Can't save or view pages without paying.
Just bad. It's always prompts for buy an pro version. I even can't run any code.
background-repeat : no-repeat; doesn't works fix it and it also doesn't links to my css even after adding the link code.
This app is little difficult to use. Other apps are easy to use and they have more facilitise.
My personal fan made Mario Bros game that will be 110× more difficult than the traditional Super Mario Bros series game.
It's a good app if you're just beginning html for advanced coders you need to get the premium version
This Ide, was good back then, but not now, it has not been updated for ages, new features like code folding, arrow functions , emmet and more is not available, and the annoying pay before saving any change in any project is just not right, please i like this ide, and would be great if you would consider updating it and adding all the new features.
