Excellent! Allows a convenient way to do my banking. And; it's security features give peace of mind by requiring, my choice of, biometric, password, pin# for access. (In addition, you can use additional security apps on top of it.)😁👍🏼 It's ease of use has proven to be a great alternative to leaving home and walking into the bank itself; especially, in light of Covid. - Highly recommended!
I use the app to pay my car loan and it has proven to be a nightmare. I have tried adding my bank account so I can pay it through the app and have had so many issues. I've called customer service several times and they tell me the same thing each time. It never helps. The micro transactions never go through. So, then I have to pay through their third party service, which charges you a $15 processing fee each time. If I was going to pay extra, I'd rather pay it towards my actual car loan.
I have had this app for years, no problems. Now, I can't log in without having to clear the cache or uninstall and download again. It won't allow me in. It tells me it is having a difficult time connecting. I can't imagine its my internet as it is occurring every where and every time. I think it is the app.
Mediocre at best. Worst of all the banking apps i use. Rarely can successfully deposit due to changes in the app. Awkward to use. Poor layout and workflows. Basically they're using it to force you to come into the bank instead. Even working with the developer for nearly a month they don't take advise. Want to blame it on not being a hard surface (a desk is pretty hard) and to take it directly over the check (duh, it WAS, otherwise it wouldn't be square on the hard surface). 20 years in IT.
This app is a perfect reflection of this bank. Not intuitive, no option to pay off extra principle instead of interest if you try to over pay, a lot of excess unnecessary steps needed to do anything that I've never dealt with regarding any other digital banking going all the way back to 2004.
Astonishingly bad update. Continual verification failure messages with proper password, rogue blocking when acct was not blocked, deposit module grabs flash when not needed, continues to refuse to take image, requires numerous retakes to verify an amount appearing twice on the check in large block numerals, incorrectly says endorsement on the back does not have the "for mobile deposit only" indicator. What gives? After years of using the app without prob this all happens in 1 morning. Yikes.
I've only been able to get it to let log in once in the two years I've been banking with aafcu. My login information hasn't changed, the app just won't accept the info. That is absolute garbage. Everytime I go into my local aafcu I mention how the app is completely unusable and I get told that its "fixed" but here we are again. Needs work
The app does what I need it to (pay off my car loan), but it is not very user-friendly and there was a major update a couple months ago that was confusing and it resulted in me making my one and only late payment. I used to just transfer money from my external banking account to my car loan. But when I went to do it the same way I had been, my money ended up in a AAFCU savings account instead. So instead of going to my car payment, it just sat there.
App does not fit screen. I cannot see titles. Also, the app automatically scrolls (or jerks) down once my statement is exposed so when I click on an item, the page moves to another item. Then i get the wrong item pulled up.
The app works great. I use it almost exclusively. The things I don't like though are "Funds Activity" info isn't sortable. I don't really see the purpose of that section it is really difficult to find the information needed, IMO
It is a great and easy app to use. My only concern is mobil depositing a check can be challenging if it was written by hand. It doesn't read the payment amount in numbers, it ONLY reads the payment amount in WORDS.
Consistently crashes when trying to open. I have to re-install the app all the time to try and fix the issues. Consistently poor performance. Needs some serious work.
One of the worst apps there is. I would consider doing business with another bank because of how poor this app functions. I have to write a check everytime I pay a bill. I have to take a recorded phone call for a code everytime I log in. I dread dealing with it every month.
A lot can be improved with this app. The layout is a little confusing and the functionality is not very user friendly. As a person who has bank accounts and apps with different banks as well, I can earnestly say this one is my least favorite.
Awful. I'm a new customer to this bank via a car loan, and based on this app experience, I question the decision. Everything about this app makes it unusable. I'm an experienced online banking user, and I can't even figure out how to make a loan payment using this app. Worthless.
First of all it was a pain to use because I'm not a member of the credit union. I had to write a check each month and take a picture of the front and back to submit. Then I finally got my bank account linked after months of trying. 2 months ago my payment didn't go through so I got emails and phone calls saying I was delinquent. So I set up automatic payments and last month they charged me twice. When I called the only way to get a refund was to visit a branch, and there are no branches near me.
Only issue I have is with the camera for mobile deposits. It would be nice if the camera took the shot automatically once the check was in focus.
The app is not up to the standards I have come to expect from AAFCU. Depositing checks with the app is not as easy or reliable as my other banks. It eventually does the job, but is a little disappointing.
ever since they switched to this one, it has been horrible. every time I try to make a remote deposit, it logs me out after taking a pic of the front and back. Terrible app
Its a pretty bad app, the 2 factor authentication never works or if it does it takes hours to access. My money is so secure not even I can access it, very stupid.
Your app is garbage, I have tried verifying my email address several times and it won't work. I just want to pay my bill. You people make it far to hard to pay a bill. It shouldn't be this difficult for you to take my money. Figure it out!
Nice design, easy to use and understand. Love the budgeting tool. Helps me see where my money goes every month. i also like how easy it is to move money from accounts.
The AAFCU app is very easy to use. Depositing checks, transfer funds at the touch of a finger. Can't function without it.
App worked fine for a few months but now it refuses to let me log in saying authentication failed please re enter your login information but it still doesn't work i tried to clear the cache and delete the app still nothing
love the app! Makes it easy and convenient for me to stay on top of my account. Love the new budgeting tools and that I can see my credit score.
Great app but it's a little buggy. I've updated my phone info with the bank but for some reason the app won't update, a little frustrating.
I was only able to login a couple times now it just says there is longer wait times and just keeps loading I hate that I have to keep going into Google chrome and go to there website because the app doesn't work properly
Cant make debit/credit payments over the app. $15 charge via over the phone payment. Literally the most useless app. Can't update payment methods over the app
Really enjoy being able to access my bank account this way. Easy to navigate through and have access to all of the different functions that I need.
First off it is EXTREMELY annoying that I can't make an principal payments on my loan through the app, secondly. I just got a notice saying I have a past due payment when I did set up auto pay. I would not recommend air academy credit union to no one
