Unrealistically high ton rating that would be oversized so far that it would cool the house without running long enough to extract humidity. Poorly calculated for a real world. Would only be accurate in a low humidity environment like Phoenix, AZ where humidity is super low.
Oversize BTU needed to reaching specified temperature. Specially summer seasson. What they dont count when calculating BTU is how often users open door. Since it is room, it is HVAC, not refrigerator machine. And when summer come, what outside the door is extremely hot air. I know alot people who claimed as pro, and can set temp to below 20 C, with their fancy program. And after project done, temp above 26 C. Because doesn't count door. Their BTU theory end up with blaming the door
70,000 btu for a 1,200 ft2 house??? am i missing something? maybe every 3 hours.
10 ton for 1700 sq ff house when a 4 ton is working fine now
Still inaccurate. Grossly oversized. I am a professional in this field and downloaded to make quick ball park figures. If the sizing would be corrected, it would be a great app.
