Very much disappointed..Bad service recently found..I did not expected this from Air India twice in a week..
Very nice except last trip del to Bangalore where all our five seats alloted in different rows inspite of seat preferred and mentioned in booking
Don't install this app, as it will just display a banner informing that a new version of this app is coming soon
If there is anything lower than one, I will choose that. You are not updating the important informations the travelers are looking for. It is very important to know the cancellation of flights due to covid19. I don't see anything like that. You customer sevice is the worst. No one picks up the call, after listening to the repeated messages the phone rings and drops the call. We holding the line patiently hoping to get someone to talk but none. It is total waste of time increases the frustration
Not able to open the app.it showing new app coming soon.
The experience with the app is not that good, Payment options r poor too, as we have to add the cards, but most of the time payments were declined by the bank. A hazy instruction about the flight info. need to make a simple app with easy payment options. I cannot find my bookings most of the time. Look at other company apps, my booking section is very clear and easy accessible. Whenever I update my app I lost my booking details, disgusting.
Extremely horrible experience. I tried web check-in via the website and it said that the option was not enabled for my flight, and thus switched to the app and tried to check-in via it. I was miraculously able to check-in for the very flight for which the option was disabled on their website but the email configured was incorrect. There's no option to view the PDF of the boarding pass and the option to resend boarding pass consistently fails. Kudos to the bad engineering.
In contrast to many people's dissatisfaction over this air mobile app, AIR INDIA mobile app, in my opinion, did a very good job for me. I have booked an international & domestic segment (Economy class) to/fro and there was not a single problem I faced. I have the air India frequent flyer account, so my details were automatically added while booking. Through this mobile app, I have also added another passengers details , which were included while booking for more than 1 person. During my booking I need to select 4 different flights, each flights were clearly displayed with adequate information. Passengers details were automatically added from the frequent flyer account. After selecting the flights, you were given an option to choose the seats . Seat map and choosing the seat over the phone was good. Finally payment , if you already added the card details in the account it will pick from there otherwise you can do the card payment at check out process. I hope more people try to use it
Horrible app. App is literally throwing API error. You can't do web checkin. It takes forever for the app to update the timings when flight gets delayed. Even the email service of AirIndia, the emails they send when you book a flight that also is not human readable. God knows what are they doing with the money. Are they not at all investing it in the app. It looks like school kids wrote the code. Very bad

Poor customer service. They receive call after 30 min. Not all countries have cheap telephone Networks like India. How much time you keep people on hold. App says it only supports payment in INR. But I tried with 4 types of credit cards. No use. Always shows error. No PayPal payment possible or anything else. They cancel the flight just during the boarding time. Said technical issue. Just think like untill the flight is filled. Theere is guarantee that the travel is confirmed. 0 star
The app appears to have been revamped after the change in management and is simply a delight to use! Inspires and instills confidence in the product even while you are purchasing it. Simply marvellous, what the private sector can do to business.
I don't know if Air India even reads the reviews or not. Take some efforts in resolving the issue or not. Even after so many negative reviews, it's such a shame that Technical Team is so careless. - after selecting senior citizen, flight shows "sold-out" - after selecting redeem points, price is shown as NaN - no possibility of integration with alliance/miles & more - if reached payment page (without any offer, code, promotion or discounts) then none of (master, visa, amex) cards accepted.
App is good in terms of response to the existing functions. But user experience turns to be very poor as compared to other available airlines apps. Basic search and time table returns only resutls of single day, and on search results does not display the price for each class, likewise lot of improvement needed. May be Tata will bring more enhancements in terms of customer experience !!
Very bad application. Every time I try to book a ticket, there is always payment issue, it says invalid card. Man I use same card for other airline its matter of minutes my ticket is booked. Air India has lot to learn if you want to survive, the other airlines are going forward and air india going backwards. Please go and check how easy are other airlines booking applications. Once I was proud of air india but now no no no.
Terrible airline and customer service. They can cancel any international or domestic flight anytime without informing. If they cancel flight they don't even inform you on next step, it is extremely hard to get next flight time if they accommodated you. If you call them and ask, call center people simply drops call without resolving query and you will clearly hear them shouting and making fun. Outdated system. Don't buy just seeing cheap ticket, it could be nightmare to you. Be on safe place.
The app is okay if you are trying to buy tickets and doing web check-in. But the air india customer service is the absolute worst. I am trying to reschedule my ticket because I caught covid and either the call disconnects after putting me on hold for an hour or they keep transferring me from one department to another like a government office and everyone says different things. Finally I just gave up and bought a new ticket because I couldn't deal with their customer service.
Horrible app. It doesn't allow to checkin. It doesn't give view trip. When you click, the app. exits. I thought TATA take over will help, but services remained same and absurd. Rgds
Not a single flight is seen to Madrid, after it is sold to TATAs
The app does not provide option to cancel journey of few passengers in particular trip. It just provides option to cancel the entire trip. It is strange and inconvenient

What js this? The app now doesn't work. "We are working on upgrading your experience". Till then what am i supposed to do?
Not at all user friendly.
Payment options need to be better but most importantly the boarding pass displayed needs to have the QR code to use during boarding at the airport.
