Firstly, Dark theme is much required! White theme literally hurts my eyes as I'm a person with sensitive eyes. Secondly, on tapping the "send feedback" option, it pops up option to send an email you for feedback but tapping on email button doesn't work. It doesn't open email app or give/show me any email id for sending you the feedback. App version: 4.4.0+3 Device: Galaxy A80 Android version: Android 11 UI: One UI (version 3.1)
Great app for keeping on top of your local air quality. Now has alerts that can keep you informed of any major changes. Update 8/2021: Taking 2 stars off. Widget and app don't report the same number (using same AQI, widget does not update properly). App takes forever to fetch data at times. Not easy to navigate. Forecast shows colored bar chart, but no AQI numbers. You have to guess if it's 60, 70, or 79...(all yellow range).
So overall I like this app because the map shows in detail a specific area's air quality COLOR. I find that very helpful because the air quality just a short distance from where you are can be significantly different! Not crazy about including the AQI-US AND Breezometer Global reading! This is so confusing because they express the same conditions in different ways so it seems like they conflict - sort of. It has good info but you have to search for it a bit more than some other weather apps.
Most accurate of the three I've tried. Attractive, intuitive interface, with weather, pollen and pollutants all in one place. This morning the app notified me when air quality worsened. Nice. I'd happily pay a one-time $5.99 fee to get rid of ads (banner only, so far), but I won't pay a monthly fee.
This app has way too many ads. Even worse, the ads are located on areas of the screen that are usually dedicated to inter-app interactions (ie; across bottom of screen). They're also designed to look like app functions, which makes it very difficult to avoid clicking on them. #uninstalling
I used to like the attractive interface a lot until realising how inaccurate and misleading it can be. It gives impression of confidence to tell you on which street the air is better, which would be great if it worked. Unfortunately since I'm checking with my own device and compare to other aps I realised it can be orders of magnitude wrong and it does not say what the data is based on - as in the other aps, where you can see where the sensor is placed.
The app is incorrect all the time. The columns that details pollen, etc.. do not show data where it should. Especially, it is time to have these, so remove from program, if you are not going to develop it correctly!? To Note: JV is correct and the post below it about the smoke / pollutants clearly in the air but the app states clear. Also, the app does not calibrate nor display the true index ever, since I've downloaded the app over 10+ days ago.
They ruined the app. you can no longer zoom out into a global view. now you can only zoom out to a limited regional view. I used to use it all the time, now it is going to be uninstalled. too bad. good apps always seem to be unneccesarily changed and rendered useless. if you change back the zoom function as it was before the most recent update, I will be happy to change my review. for me, this is a deal breaker.
Overall, a useful app that gives me much of the info I need. Notifications about moderate and poor quality are important to me. I was disappointed to be unable to find a way to set custom alert notifications, such as when humidity is 78+%, or when specific pollens reach a certain point. That would help me make more informed decisions managing my asthma and COPD
Nice and useful app, functioning well.
Came from AirVisual after that stopped working after a year of use and this uses a less reliable, less detailed scale that's counterintuitive. Will not be able to rely on this. Yeah, just compared it's readings to Airlief and would NOT trust this very limited app and it's weird, backwards scale of measuring pollutants. Definitely not a good system they've made up. Uninstalling now and going to keep using Airlief with the standard PM measurement system.
No advantage to this app over the free EPA AirNow. I tried this app for the widget; over 3 days of waiting for it to populate data, and still nothing. Without a functional widget, the app provides nothing I don't already have access to for free. If I ever considered to pay for the relief from the annoying ads, I would NEVER pay for a subscription - perhaps a one-time cost, but never a subscription, simply an exceedingly lofty expectation from a dev who obviously has their heads in the clouds.
Cool app, but not accurate. I like how the app works and the features. But unfortunately I can't trust it as there are frequently times it tells me the air quality is terrible, but then I can other sure quality readings and they all say it's good. Not sure where it's pulling it's days from...
I find this app to be fairly accurate when compared to actual results from stations near me. However, I left one star off due to the widget's size and not being resizable. If I could make the widget a little larger to see it better I would amend my review to 5 stars.
It does have a great potential in terms of the quality of the data shown and how it's nicely laid out... but damnit the app keeps freezing when I touch the "Air Quality" card, or when I click the drop-down arrow near the AQI indicator! Please fix it
Great app. It has everything you want to know. The design of the app is very nice. Although the premium price being a monthly subscription is kinda bothering me. Would rather have to pay one time even if the price was bigger.
This is a good app to keep me informed when the AQI becomes unhealthy. It also tells of any local fires impacting the air. Unfortunately it only tells the approx distance and direction. Would give more stars if the app didn't perpetually show an alert to install a radar app! Really irritating 😒
Widget Does not update automatically. GPS lock and data connected. only updates if I press the widget into settings. Now widget stays still at 48% but the app shows very good under green bar. Also your app aqm and widget aqm counters are opposite to each other.
