- The US Embassy PM2.5 data is used for Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu and Guangzhou.
- The China Ministry Environment Pollution Departement PM10 data is used for all other cities in China.
- For Hong Kong and Taiwan, the respective Environment agencies PM2.5 data is used.
- For Singapore, the Singapore National Environment Agency PM2.5 data is used.

I've used this app for years and it's been highly unreliable for over a year. I now switched to the AirVisual app which always work and reports a lot more sensors around the world. It's a real pity that the developer stopped maintaining this app, but I won't miss it because there are much better app choices out there.
Really great amount of data set out logically and well organized. However,the app doesnt function perfectly om full screen mode on my s9+, and its a bit difficult to understand all of the data for someone not aquainted with all of the terminology. Overall happy with the app but would love to see some updates with the design
WAS a great app, but for months it's been bad at updating. Sometimes it displays information that's days old. Refreshing the screen makes no difference. Over VPN or without a VPN, makes no difference (I'm in China). I hope this app can return to its former greatness. I've used it for years.
Info seems accurate. But it doesn't load map properly for the past 1 week. Tried to scroll the map around and it load in patches, some parts doesn't load. And when zooming in, the labels for risd names, pkaces, etc., keep decreasing in size, so I can never read them. Label size is disproportional to screen size. Pls correct these map problems.
Good app, like the home screen widget but is constantly wanting to be shut down for background data usage. When you do so then you receive no data at all obviously. Suggest a setting that data can be limited to 6, 12, 24 hour blocks or refresh schedule.
Unfortunately very poorly developed app. It's practically impossible to find a city by just typing a city name. The autolocation is not working correctly and is buried somewhere in the settings. All in all, just better than nothing at all. Come on devs, I'm sure you can do better than this...
I used this app for ages. I have two widgets open on my ohine at all time. I use it to help evaluate safety outside for vulnerable populations, and to help decide when a mask is needed. Yes i live in a very polluted city. It also provides excellent realtime data on a range of local pollutants; and links back to a global map showing the same. Brilliant i don't leave the house without it.
Outdated on my Galaxy S10 running Android 10. Requires permission to my photos to work?! Says it's meant for an older version of Android and to check for an update, which there isn't, and that it won't work right.
I like how clean the app is, but my whole state is practically on fire at the time I'm writing this and where everything else says our air quality is 300-400 range (and higher!), this app is telling me only 77. If someone is blindly relying on this app, it could put them in a lot of danger. 70's versus >300's is a *very* dangerous difference for one's health.
Map only loads pins (pins are functional when used) however doesn't load the rest of the map (colour for land/sea, labels, etc). Other features appear adequate, however have uninstalled as the map is primary screen of interest to me and as it doesn't work there's no reason for me to keep. Device Oppo R9s.
Great app. Some useful improvements could be: make a custom list of favourite cities; customise the threshold for an air quality alert; charts showing long-term statistics for air-quality trends
No updates since 2016, so not compatible with today's Android software. Lots of warning messages to this effect. App doesn't work at all. Immediately uninstalled.
Borderline useless. cant load date, cant find cities, ebdless error messages. im sure the data is good but the app is appaling. Worst ive comr a toss in many years. whoever is programming this is clueless.
Good for spot checking air quality. Thought placing the widget next to my weather widget would be useful but my phone always identifies the app as drawing too much power in the background when I use the widget.
I was hoping for more detail, like NO2, VOCs, O3, etc, not only PMs. The Plume app gives this info along with month by month data. I was hoping to cross check for accuracy. If more detailed info is in this app, I couldn't find it.
Still have app on my phone but still can't trust 😪 it. I refreshed and refreshed, and still see 3 DIFFERENT times of updates. Plus, your numbers always MUCH SMALLER than the other apps I use. Would you PLEASE either text or email me so I can show you the problem. Thanks.
Last updated 2016 and it shows. Doesn't work at all well with current android version and whatever api it's using to get current air quality doesn't work well either.
We are in the oregon wildfire and my asthma is really bad. This guide has saved me from leaving the house when its dangerous. This is the best, most frequently updated app ive seen. Load time is super fast as well. Thank you!
This app worked well for a few months, then it got stuck on one date. I eventually reinstalled it, but nite it is always a day behind. I've now switched to a different app.
Good service on website, map not working for phone. Note8. App is more clunky than website. Awesome data though and appreciate the service. Please rectify android functionality.
Great - really, really great - when it works; unfortunately, often doesn't load map or accurate data, conflicting even with the AQI website.
I used to love this app. Unfortunately, over the last year or so it's really degraded in quality. It regularly produces errors when updating the real time air quality, and the widget constantly is stuck on "loading". This can only be fixed with a reinstall, and you have to do this every few weeks. After 5 years of use I've grown too frustrated and will be switching to a different air quality app.
