• Air Smart flawlessly connects to your smartphone so that you can easily see and share the results of the test
• It is maintenance free thanks to the hygienic and high precision disposable turbine, there is no need for sterilization and calibration
• It is as accurate as a professional spirometer, but costs a fraction of it: only 69 Euro

Air Smart is intended to measure the forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1), the peak expiratory flow (PEF) and the forced vital capacity (FVC) in a forced expiratory maneuver. These measures can be used for the detection, assessment and monitoring of certain lung diseases. The Air Smart Spirometer is intended to be used by:

• Healthcare professionals trained to perform spirometry tests on patients.

The app is great, and you can test FEV1, I couldn't share the PDF results at first and after discussions with the developer they updated the app, and now I can send PDF. Epic responsiveness. So it is a great app and device (purchased separately). It would be nice to have a subscription focused on the chronic home user, as the subscription only seems to be aimed at doctors, and therefore priced out of the South African affordability for patients.

Problem is you either need a blue tooth or a specific wireless device. Would be good otherwise.

What air device?

Connection to device is not established reliably. Test history is not stored. Export of raw data (as ascii table or xlsx) is missing. Update: v2 is even worse. you are forced to create an account online if you don't want to type in all data every time you use the app. luckily i could restore the old version.

It's amazing how far technology has come ! I'm truly grateful I have this spirometer. I told my physician that it's the best present I have ever received. It took 4 stars because it doesn't store my lung functions which is something excessively important for me as well as it is for my team. Despite the fact that I can send it to them. Please update that.
