Good app to have for Android users. But it confuses the left and right airpods. Nnot a big issue, the problem is that the percentages it gives sometimes are just incorrect. For example, it would say "15%" which you know is not true because you just pulled out a fully charged airpod a few minutes ago, but when you put the airpod back into the Charging Case and pull it out a minute later, it says "95%". Lol. It also uses too much power in Android 7.1. Other than that, I gave it 3 stars.
This app does exactly as it says, and with brilliant accuracy. I compared it to iOS's native version and it's pretty much on par percentage wise, however it only updates in 10% increments, but that's more than good enough for something that shouldn't even be supported on Android in the first place. Another thing this app provides is the ability to see the battery percentage even if Airpods are connected to another device, which is a feature other apps of this kind don't have included. Thanks!
Okay, so I know it's sometimes annoying when you open your case and the menu shows up. It's also sometimes annoying when it doesn't show proper percentage. But this gives it the feature of actual airpods on an Android. I was playing with my air pump the other day, and pulled them out and then my music stopped. I didn't think it was possible, and I tried it with YouTube. Same thing. These are amazing! I honestly can't believe that they managed to use the sensors on the airpods! Get the App!
Was a bit skeptical due to some reviews that I have read but decided to give it a try for myself. I purchased the pro for £1.09 and it's worth for no ads and an overall cleaner look. The app opens almost instantly after my airpods connect and I have changed it to close the app automatically after 10 seconds. The battery life is accurate and shows for each earphone and the case but only changes every 5%, I don't think it's really a big deal and is probably due to hardware limits. Worth the buy!
Initially I really like the app, so I bought the pro version to get rid of the ads. But the ads keep popping up until now. Why? 01/08/2019 The ads issue is finally gone for good. Thank you. So far this app does most of what it advertized. One inconsistent issue still remain is that this app does not always pop up on my phone screen after I open the Airpods cap, and sometimes it does. Hopefully a better update is on the way soon!
Good app, needs some development. Doesn't always show up when you open the lid of the airpods. Settings are executed inconsistently, for example the open and close automatically setting, also the close app with some delay settings don't always work the way they should. The app itself won't fit the screen properly, I wish I could post scree shots
The app works well sometimes. I bought pro to support it but there are some big issues. For example, it does not correctly identify my BeatsX and keeps jumping around to random settings. It constantly switches between Solo3, left and right or both airpods, or not detecting the headphones at all. We should be able to manually set what headphone we are using with the app.
It has potential, but is still riddled with bugs. It can perform the automatic play/pause when removing from your ear about 90% of the time. The application suffers most when you're in highly populated areas with other airpod/beats users by constantly trying to connect with their devices. Which in turn gives you false information and causes random play/pauses. As mentioned, it has potential to be a great application, but is not ready for release
I purchased this app because I enjoyed the free version. I set my airpods up with my iphone so i could change the double tap feature. just be sure not to "forget" the airpods or else it'll erase the settings. Like some have pointed out, the app will try and connect with evergone elses wireless apple earphones showing their info. this happened to me in the airport. Would help a lot if you can lock it so this doesnt happen. thank you.
That's a nice idea and the app is not totally bad. However, there is a problem with the volume bar. Sometimes the volume regulation just does't work (Airpods Pro, Google Pixel 3). Without the app installed, there is no problem at all. To support the development, I bought the pro version of the app, and I hope it is going to improve in the future. For now, I had to uninstall it.
App worked good for the battery percentage. However, it started to get spotty if I moved my phone around and if I put my phone on my pocket it would just stop the sound even though the music would keep playing. I needed to have my phone up to my chest for it to work. I got the subscription too, but it didn't make it better. I first thought the headphones were the problem, but once I uninstalled the app they worked perfectly fine.
Best option for Android users with Powerbeats Pro Headphones. No other app available shows the battery level of the Powerbeats pro case and showing the accurate picture of the headphones and case in the app and popup is nice (though I have the white version and not black). It would be nice to show the silhouette of the Powerbeats in the notifications instead of just left/right/case, but beggars can't be choosers. Thanks for your hard work!
Hasn't worked for me since updating to Android 10. Doesn't consistently open and, when I manually open, it tells me no airpods can be detected. I can get it to register them sometimes, but they'll revert back to can't be detected during use. The main reason for using the Pro version of the app was the in ear detection, which also no longer works. Very disappointing
Works great most of the time. It's pretty annoying though that it keeps connecting to someone else's beats x headphones and showing me their battery percentage though. I don't even use those, I've got airpods. Definitely the most annoying thing about the app. I do wish that single tap would work for pause/play function on the airpods, but that's a minor grievance. I love the in ear detection support since I am never going back to using an iPhone. And the airpods are great u til android comes out with a comparable Bluetooth headphone in terms of design and comfort.
does what it says, bought pro because it's cheap and to support. however i stopped using the app because it pops up everytime i connect my airpods and needs to be moved to the background before i can interact with my phone, that just gets in the way of the seamless user experience airpods provide. also i don't like to have the extra notification icon up all the time if i want to use ear detection. i see that it's necessary for it to work but a smaller(as small as possible) option would be nice
This app works well MOST of the time, but I frequently run into these issues: 1. Doesn't detect my power beats 3s half of the time. 2. You can't pick your headphone in the settings, this causes the app to show battery for other headphones in the area and jump between other beats devices. I did purchase the "pro" version of the app which let's you remove advertisements, but I feel that us supporters who bought the pro version need something a little more than just removal of advertisements. I think something like different HUD themes for the app. Please fix these issues and I'll definitely give a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 rating!
The app connects Airpods randomly to the phone, making the experience very unpleasant. I'm sitting in the car listening to a song and Airpods in a bag in backseat. Out of nowhere, the song starts streaming to Airpods and I can't hear anything on car stereo. Same thing happens when I'm listening to music on my wired headphones. Returned Airpods. Costco was kind enough to return my money. Uninstalling the app. Not sure if the developer would follow suit.
Tried the free version and was impressed so paid for the "pro" version. - 'still impressed! I particularly like the fact that I can change how long the "pop- up" diplay remains visible for. Now, if only there was a way of emulating the noise reduction/cancelling widget as found on iPhone but I suppose that's too much to wish for!
Very useful. It worked for 2 years with my first generation airpods, and is fantastic with my new airpod pros. It isn't flawless. Sometimes the battery percentage is wrong, but if you close, then re-open the app, it fixes itself. I've used it for over 2 years now, and I'm grateful for it. If not for this app, I would either have to change my phone, or not use my airpods, and I don't want to do either. I am now considering upgrading the app to pro, not for the features, but to support the maker.
