Aircraft Weight and Balance

This could be an excellent W&B app. But it needs updating. The layout is too confined for mobile phones and was probably created with tablets in mind. Reducing the font size to benefit the layout text becomes too small for many users. I wonder how many devices were tested before release. The column widths cannot accomodate some of the contents causing text to display cut-off words. The author should eliminate the french spelling "aircraft(s), information(s), luggage(s) Gravity Center" etc.

Love the app! Takes a while to get set up, but once you do it's great! A few requests: 1. Add wind gusts to the wind calculator. 2. Ability to change the label for the loading stations. 3. Ability to add more loading stations. 4. Ability to add lines in the envelope for "max landing weight" and "max zero fuel weight" and have them respected with warnings. 5. Ability to input a change in moment for gear retraction. 6. Lengthen the screen image for larger screens so we don't have to scroll. Nice!

wanting to change away from a spreadsheet that I currently use. started setting up parameters, but the app would not allow me to change fuel consumption. every time I tried to save it skipped back to that parameter, highlighted it in red, but never gave assistance on what the issue was. uninstalled. my spreadsheet just works - I'll stick with it.

I find the preset info good but there is a distinct lack of documentation (or I haven't found it). If I set up a new envelope although it is stored the weight and balance graph lines do not show. SO unless I am using a predefined plane I am stuck! Could be brilliant.

Exactly the app I needed! The graphical display representing changes to loading are simultaneous. Would like to see some added features, and the data entry during setup could be better, but hey, at the price who can complain? Thanks!!!

This is a great app. It takes a LOT of work to get set up, but makes it really easy to see what you need to do to get within balance. Love the fact that you can watch your CG move around as you shift your load around. Note to Developer: More than 6 points on the envelope would be great. My Cherokee Six officially has 8 points.

I like this app a lot. I spent a little over an hour figuring out how the app works and inputting weight and balance from my maintenance log. Remember to input fuel in gallons in the loading plan. Everything else is in pounds. Great little app 5 stars!

Great but wish there was a way to copy a aircraft profile instead of having to enter every single parameter from scratch

It appears to be thorough and well designed. I am having a very hard time creating my own aircraft, though. Is there a way to do so?

Does anyone have AS350 variants presets made up that they can share?

Have a Cessna 175. App does not cover this aircraft.

Takes a bit of setting up, but once I set it up it works great and allows me to do W&B very quickly.

Doesn't work. We'll not show calculations on W&B chart.

Couldn't edit export path, couldn't find the sample csv file in the path shown. Couldn't add my aircraft to app (piper warrior)

This is a wonderful app. You simply enter the six points that define your envelope then enter the stations for oil, passengers and luggage together with your empty weight and moment and you're all set with your individual airplane. For flight planning, sliders are used to set weights. Easy and accurate.

Great app. I was able to modify one of the templates to match my plane's weight and balance data. Oil is maxed out at 12 qts, which is bad for my twin. Remove that restriction and it's perfect. UPDATE: Thanks for fixing that. Now it IS perfect.

My Cessna 182T has three luggage stations. This program will only allow two, leaving me with an inaccurate weight and balance.

Easy to set up then even easier to use. Great app.

Love this app, especially the dynamic view when adjusting parameters.

Is it possible for someone to create a C208B parameters for it one with MTOW of 8750 and 9062?

I love seeing how the CG shifts with various inputs. Slick. A useful tool for visualizing how to load up the airframe in different scenarios. However I would back up calculations the old fashioned way. Lots of spelling errors doesn't instill confidence for the accuracy of the calculations. Run a spell check. I have text set larger and I believe the rendering is screwed up as a result. Also, you can't remove some aircraft examples.

I love the visual composition of the app. It makes the calculation so easy.

Nice update. Now the save button doesn't work anywhere, meaning I can't alter anything. Wind calculator doesn't have anywhere to input the windspeed, therefore useless.

User interface is not good for touch screen. Developer should have allowed text input knstead of slide bars.
