Broken. Doesn't connect to NAS that is connectable to through every other ASUSTOR NAS app. Also can't get a Samsung ML-1630 USB printer working through any of the USB ports (printer works fine as network printer hooked up in same fashion to 10+ yr. old DLINK NAS). Windows 10 detects but flips from printer to a weird media center device in middle of driver install. I'm former IT.. fiddled with a few things and gave up. Edit: to point out that Play Store shows no app update for ~1yr.--what gives?

Terrible interface design. Connects easily and the 4-way movement control works fine, but everything else is unintuitive, buried in lower layers, etc. I have to use it to start an app, but then I have to hope that the app has its own Android control app ...

Installed it for xbmc app on older asustor nas. Was a little disappointed that they didn't make newer 'kodi' available for it. Remote control app worked fine, no problems. My older nas also supports the plex server app. Just got a new roku TV that works with plex, so don't need xbmc anymore. Don't really need the remote app anymore either, but left it installed for the time being.

Interface is pretty plain, it took me the longest time to realize that "Asustor Portal" was actually an application that had to be installed on the NAS. I tried the app and like others failed to connect.. Once I installed the "Asustor Portal" application from the store it worked... I had installed the application called "Remote control" and has a nice little picture of a phone controlling the NAS and even the description implies it is in fact what you need to install, nowhere does it say on this application that it is in fact a component of the Asustor Portal application.

The apps can't be open in my phone and it keeps telling me that the wifi network is disconnected so it can't connect. Did it requires only wifi network and can't be used using cellular data? Evemthough I have disable the wifi options in settings.

Only the DPad works, and with a lot of lag: one third of taps doesn't act. Touchpad not working. Broke the USB (no mouse / keyboard worked anymore). A disaster. AS3102Tv2 and ADM 3.3.0.RHM2.

It works sometimes it doesn't work others it's extremely laggy and rarely ever finds the server even if you input the IP address. Like most of asustors apps and app store, it is all very lackluster and extremely useless

The newer version seems to be inconsistent on Nimbustor 4 ADM 3.5.0.R5D3. Most of the time showing 0 servers found in the same subnet even aftet adding the IP. Previously it discovered the NAS flawlessly. Edited: Could you also include CTRL+ALT+F1-F12 for switching VTs?

The touchpad doesn't work at all making this app and the HDMI output on my NAS pointless. Mouse doesn't work either. Would not buy asustor again.

Very disappointed, my 8 year old LG TV is more comprehensive than this and that app isn't great either. At least the LG app you can do still navigate all the apps etc

App works ok initially, but now get stuck. Unable to come out from app by using exit or back icon from remote. Only option to restart NAS, which is not good 🤐🤔...pls help to fix issue asap

Amazingly disfunctional app, as disfunctional as the portal. Asustor NAS, from start to finish a mind-boggling showcase of incompetence and dullness. There's only one place where these products belong to : the rubbish bin

i can't change volume in any app in Asus portan (i have asustor). please help or update more setting in remote. thank for help.

Works for the most part but Ive noticed that when going fullscreen (for example when watching Netflix on asustor), I can't see the cursor anymore while moving it after a while, for example when I want to pause. This is probably more of a problem on the Asustor itself instead of the app, as I still see things being highlighted when I move on the touchpad despite there not being a cursor. Very annoying either way

Great app, but watch out when using Huawei phone manager cleaning function, it removes the switch panel in this app

Already wanted to buy wireless keyboard. This app replaces it mostly. Works perfectly.

i have an android box. it says android to android but wont run to a wired android. app wont even load .The android box does work if I connect it wirelessly. This is an issue with programming preference the android box has an IP and is seen as a network and has no issues communicated with the pc via wired.

AS6104T as media centre. Enter YouTube TV mode... and you can't get out. Only exit I've found is - the exit button in this app. Edit: I'm using a Mac keyboard. CMD-F4 and Option-F4 were tried, neither worked. Guess I have to buy a PC keyboard and try again.

The remote control only works for a while, then you will have to switch to touchpad mode because the control mode doesn't work any more all of a sudden- keyboard doesn't work either(you can type but ui won't update text field)

Just upgraded to the latest control centre application and now my Airemote can't find the NAS. Tried on iPhone 6s and Nexus 5 Marshmallow. What happened Asustor?

The app is good, minimal but functional interface. However, one of the problems I constantly face is once I pause a movie in between, the interface stops taking further commands and there is no way to resume the movie expect to restart the NAS. If this can be fixed, will definitely give 4 🌟

Suddenly disconnected from network without any reason. Reboot would fix it immediately, for several hours. The remote apps was working by luck! Alway lost control at the middle of the command! Then you have to reboot the NAS again for another several hours working. Totally rubbish

Used it a lot for kodi - had to come up with a different solution - Come on Asus get your act together

I have AS5004T NAS. Always says no server even though everything else in my network can see it. Other ASUStor apps can see it to except this one. Please fix.

This app lost conncection quite often a reboot of the NAS will do but not convenient. There is still alot of room to improve on Asustor Software and UI portions. BTW I am a new owner of AS5104T
