This company is a complete scam! It's been over a year since I lodged a claim and still no result. Extremely poor customer service/communication. They keep sending generic update emails with no specific details of your case and barely respond to emails. Extreme incompetence. They pride themselves being simple, quick, and with a 95% success rate, yet this is the complete opposite of what they deliver. Deceptive and misleading conduct. Also they deleted my last review. Don't trust them!
When filling 1st time was not expecting to get nothing, just made it as was stuck in the airport. My surprise after 2 weeks they came back and I got paid. Easy to claim, good service and reasonable fee. They also offer AirHelp+ if you travel a lot and then fee is fixed for the year.
I am having a very bad experience with this app . I have applied for the claim that my flight got canceled about an year back . Still I didn't get any news from them. it still says legal action started about a 8 months is over with this status. I won't recommend this app for applying flight cancellations and delay claim. I would recommend directly you can deal with airlines instead of using this application.
Scammers! They help you in situations you can solve urself easily just to take massive fees. Also their add popped in a stressful situation and it looked like they would help, but now im in a even worse state. I feel so stupid for getting their services, really feel like ive been taken advantage of. I just wish to get my application cancelled. Ive contacted them via their app and email but still no response! (Update incoming...)
I was very sceptical about the app, but I received money back from the airline company after using airhelp. From the first aircompany didn't wanted to pay for obvious case and AirHelp stepped in with legal actions and I got my compensation. The process lasted for several months but it wasn't stressful at all. I will recommend this service to anyone that had any problems during their flights. Cheers
I filed through Airhelp on Sep 7, 2018 for a delayed flight in Europe. Airline accepted complain on Oct. 6, 2018. I have emailed Airhelp to get status but never answered. On Oct. 15, App updated me that the Airline approved and will be paid. I got the money Oct. 30, 2018. They charged me $170. For me it's fine because the airline company will only offer free reward miles and never even contacted me to apologized. The Airline was really rude and don't want me to put in a different flight. This app works.
I strongly beware you guys. I paid 19,99€ for a membership,but the help is not adequate. In addition they charged me for a new membership next 19.99€ without my knowledge. When I wrote them to return my money they transferred just 7.99€ . The contact with the company is weird. Is spent two weeks writting almost every day, but they did not give me back the full amount anyway! Waste of time.
Absolute scam! Lodged a complaint well over a year ago and no outcome. Automated email is the only response I get from customer service. It gets worse, right now I can't even log in to the app via Google like I always did. It keeps saying login failed.
The app is intuitive and gives hints at every step. Overall it gives a pleasant user experience. However, the app crashes when user tries to scan the barcode on the boarding pass.
I have used airhelp (web) once and really liked the seamless process to file and receive claims. Given that it's solving a problem that for end consumers could be sort of a black box, it's definitely worth a try!
I'm not sure why but I found this app with full permissions to read and download ALL my gmail emails. I don't remember agreeing to this high level of access.. I removed access right away but who knows what they downloaded before I discovered this security vulnerability. VERY suspicious behaviour.
Useless. If EasyJet Switzerland refuses to pay EC261 (flight delayed overnight) by lying (passengers were not at the airport), Airhelp won't do anything 'cause they would have to go to court in Switzerland and there it's too "difficult" to apply passenger rights. In a nutshell: if it's easy and straightforward AirHelp will help. Otherwise, you're on your own. Uninstalled.
On top of the outstanding service (i got my money back from the airline), the app is designed very intuitively, navigation is simple and user friendly. Well done guys!
Complete waste of time, I really wish I'd made the claim myself. This company has cost me money as I've now lost out on the claim they were supposed to be handling. They kept asking for documents already provided, practically zero feedback or communications before finally telling me they've given up after six months of nothing. Don't bother with this App/company, do it yourself. (I have to give the App one star because it won't let me give it zero)
At first I felt a bit skeptic with this service. But since I won't lose money anyway if they turned out to be scammer, I tried it. Registered my disruptive flights and uploaded the documents needed. Then I receive an email within a week that they already forwarded my case to the airline. Then maybe it took them 2 weeks to get in touch with me again that the airline is going to pay me. Next email i just need to write down my bank account number, then they will send the money. I got the money within a day after i submitted my bank account details.
No acknowledgement of my request to end a claim due to high fees. I am entitled to a refund of €600 for a horrible flight experience I had. Airhelp is taking €210 from that amount. I lost money from work for the flight delay in addition to other traumas I experienced. I have written three times to tell Airhelp to end the claiming process but no response. You guys used to be good but this unacceptable. Kindly let me take my chances with the airline.
After initially declining my compensation request for a easyjet flight, airhelp contact me 2 years later! After providing requisite documents, got the compensation. It was like winning a small lottery without even buying the ticket! Transaction was also hassle free :)
Airhelp has done a brillant job. They've streamlined a tedious and difficult process and made it a simple experience with a great user experience. Hats off.
They just send you some automated email where 95% of their cases are solved and I should wait etc etc and that's it for months and months. Guess I'm part of the 5% :). Also it is still weird how they accessed my emails without any permission.
Very bad service. Had a flight with delay where i asked refund for 2 tickets - one through this App and one took care myself directly with flight operating company. Results: - For refund request treated without AirHelp app: got full compensation (100% value) after 5 months; - For refund requested through Airhelp app: got only 70% of compensation value (AirHelp charges 25% fee + taxes) and only after 12 months and many emails complaining about the service.
I used this app to claim my right a year ago, and just today got the money received in my account. But it was because of the airline. If you wanna avoid the hustle dealing with airline and don't mind to pay the fee, this app is recommend
Awesome app, saved me time as it's efficient in updating the various stages of the compensation process. Friends of mine who have gone to airlines direct have often gone no where.
Brilliant..! it stills feels quite unreal as I have been credited with 1800€ in my account. it all started with a social media ad and apprehensively I moved ahead with what AirHelp asked. I must specially say the sublimity of operation and zero stress procedure was worth noting. thanks AirHelp. this is truly special.
They said they would get me €450 compensation for my delayed flight. A few days later they send me an email saying that my money was on its way. Turns out, as said by Syzmon by airhelp, that the claim was initially marked as accepted by mistake, and that the legal team was not going to pursue legal action (even though their website said they would) absolutely useless and annoying service. Highly discourage anyone to use this app.
Fees have been increased and are now TOO high. 35% on a 250€ case means almost 85€, for that money I can invest 20 min and file the case directly to the flight operator. Nevertheless, good app and service.
took my case about half a year, but totally worth it :) had to provide basic info in the beginning and then every once in a while would get a status update. even if it's just "we're still working on this" kept me in the loop.
I emailed to cancel my flight reclaims they just kept sending me that they would fix it, I issued account cancelation more than once and they just keep updating me on the reclaim I asked to cancel which just stays active. Really would like my account to just be deleted.
highly recommended! gave an outstanding performance and got my money back! Great service! I was not sure if it would work in the beginning, but after exaclty 3 months after the claim I got the compensation of my delayed flight. The company gets part of the compensation as service fees (which is a little bit high), but everything is well described on the service's terms before you accept and submit the claim. And afterall, earning something is better than earning nothing. Thanks guys!
