3 reasons NOT to download this app (because everyone else will tell you only why you should do it):
1) We do not have information for every place on Earth. There are even countries without Air Quality data. The problem is not in the app itself, sorry if we do not have info for your location.
2) The Air Quality info is NOT 100% right. Air quality measurement has a lot of imperfections, does not fully rely on a single app or sensor. There is NO BEST WAY, and there should be a constant trade-off between data quality and quantity and this is why we combine different air quality providers.
3) Do not expect to see miracles from the recommendations. Yet according to the health professionals we work with even the simplest steps if it is done at the right time and regularly, have a positive influence on your protection from air pollution.pp can work without it but with some limitations.

After trying one dozen of apps of that kind I truly think this one is the only one that does its job perfectly. Seriously after so much apps this one is the only one that still stay on my phone and regularly checking... One suggestion- full data from the official sensors to be visible from the map
Downloaded this because after over a year of use, the AirVisual app just randomly stopped working. Seems pretty accurate but lacks the great features of AirVisual such as having the air quality number constantly showing in the notifications so the number will show up by my clock so I can retreat indoors if it reaches a certain level.
No widget, for some reason the dashboard doesn't work on an old Android 4.2, needs to find the data every time you open the app so you are waiting every time. It does have nice tips though
Great app, but notifications about pollution going over 100 don't work. And it will be awesome if you add the option to be alerted when pollution drops to moderate levels so one can ventilate their home!
I recently expressed disappointment with this app's failure to give any data for my home area. The response from the company was excellent and the explanation of how data is collected very revealing. I'm using, supporting and recommending this app.
Same as some other guys here - the app doesn't update somehow. When installed it works fine at initial start. Few hours later it couldn't show anything. This behavior stays for how a days.
I am using the app in order to see if the air is good outside for a walk. I also check other cities where I have relatives in order to warn them if it is unhealthy.
The app doesn't show the real situation. You can see the smoke in the air and it shows very good quality and recommends ventilation...
Really useful app, giving the opportunity to make the invisible (air pollution) visible in a highly interactive way.
Simple and easy to get basic info on air quality. It offers personalized info based on your personal medical conditions and habits. No in depth pollution indicators.

App is great and easy to understand, but has been showing the same data for a little over a month now and it makes me think it is not accurate

Reports no internet. Even though I need interner to send this. It still trports no internet. Even with data turned on. Whats the point?

I have a breathing problem. so I need accurate air quality information. this app provides that.
This thing is so far off it's ridiculous. Also dangerous as it's off to the point that it's showing the air quality as much healthier than it actually is. Right now it's showing a score of 63 which isn't bad, yet the EPA and other official readings show it about 144. More than twice as high! We have a ton of wildfire smoke in the area to the point you can't even see far. Relying on this app is hazardous to your health.
