AirMeasure - AR Tape Measure & Ruler

Seems to work well with my OnePlus 5T with 8GB RAM. Using it outdoors mostly. I've used indoors some. but it seems to be off 2-3". If the app can't lay down a grid on the surface you're trying to measure it will be way off, like measuring a corner of a wall vs flat wall from top to bottom. I gave it 4 stars because it still needs more work. The concept is great though!

Really disappointed. I downloaded this app after searching online and seeing it was highly recommended. However once I actually tried it it doesnt live up to the hype. It has none of the extra features and is extremely difficult to use. When I was actually able to get it to measure something it tried to tell me my coffee table was 62 METERS long. Guess I'm going to have to keep looking for an app to meet my needs.

Works for tabletop gaming. There is a margin of error but it is negligable compared to the types of tools used in the hobby. Doesnt do elevation or incline but across a flat surface from miniature to miniature this is a much faster and easier way to make quick work of pain staking tactical decisions. Note 8

Not working I try to open the app a few times and reinstall it twice. Unfortunately my phone will not load the program and crashed each time. Owner of a Samsung galaxy S10+. Any feed back on how to fix this issue would be appreciated, thank you.

I just don't get why people don't appreciate the fact that this measuring app is smart and does its work perfectly. I mean come on, it's really accurate and super easy to use. I tested the app properly with a 30 cm ruler and it gave me almost the exact number (29.9 cm) even though I took an off angle. The only measuring app I found useful.

Has potential, but lacks accuracy. It unfailingly records a door frame height as 2.2 metres when it is actually 2.09. Could the ability to make fine adjustments be incorporated? Have it measure a known distance, and correct it's findings.

Using it with Poco F2 Pro. It says ads, but I haven't seen any. The app seems to overestimate by around 1cm for a 30cm object, 0.1m for a 1.6m object. It only displays to 1 decimal place. It mainly shows SI units but it does show American in the top left corner. It shows the lines of previous measurements, but no way of selecting them. There is a clear button to remove your previous lines. Compared to the iPhone's app, this is less accurate, should only be used for very rough estimate.

Outdated, does not give accuracy and was off by about 1/2". Required three tries to get the right measurement of a ruler. Can not take a photo but can take a screenshot.

I'm so disappointed. I thought I finally found a measuring app I could use. The problem is, there are NO DIRECTIONS! You open the app and get a picture thru the camera with some icons on it. That's it. There's only one icon that describes itself, but that doesn't help. I have no idea what to do next. Why are their no instructions? I guess I'll keep looking

Doesn't have any of the features advertised other than measure. Can't change measurement units. And certainly doesn't do floor plans. In fact, there isn't even a menu to give any options.

This app is a joke. It is difficult to get the app to find a suitable surface to measure from. Any long distances especially outside? Forget it. Inside in rooms it's ok but still tends to be temperamental.

Doesn't work at all on Samsung S20 Lite (Android 11, One UI 3.1). Tried to open this app many times, but it just crashes instantly after the Unity splash screen; it's completely unusable. Disappointed. :(

Was really hoping this would be the same as Last Labs' Tape Measure app for iphone. Looks like I'll never know. APP WILL NOT OPEN. Unfortunately, I can't give it zero stars.

Pls add these -- 1. save data option, 2. meter,cm,onlyfeet,feet+inch,onlyinch =these all are displayed at same time side by side on screen. I like this app, and waiting for the update.

It will "sometimes" take a decent measurement. It needs on-screen help for first time use. I love the idea, I hope it improves with the next release.

I'll update if it turns nasty but so far works fine on my S6 Lite. Hover over the item in the camera until the circle is at one edge. Click on button under circle. Move your device so the circle is at the other edge of the item you want to measure and click button again. Your device needs to be able to install Google Play Services AR from the play store so install that first. If it says there it isn't optimised for your device then sorry, it won't work. (Eg My Galaxy Note 3 & TabA)

so far so good. It does the job what its meant for. As the team says its a beta version, would wait for more stable and good version. Once use the full version would be able to provide decent review

It's good not perfect. It seems to be off sometimes like 2-4 inches but it's handy. It helps get an idea of the measurement.

Works fine for me really useful, simple to use , very impressive and no ads! This detected my table and gives it a 3d overlay giving accurate measurments.... amazing stuff!!

For approximations, this tool is absolutely excellent! When I don't have a tape measure on me I use it all the time to get rough measurements

Seems awesome really, no ads and easy to use. Not perfect but I never expected that, pretty damn accurate as far as I can tell

Could't even find a surface and once it did, it measured two point nowhere near where I had clicked. Very glitchy.

doesnt seems to have any problem with ar capable/supported device. however, there's still room improvement to make app looks less gibberish.

Garbage. Downloaded and used it to test measure on my foot. Showed my foot to be 7' long. Tried ot several more times with similar bad results.

It's so amazingly inaccurate, it says my tv was 27meters wide. Even though I wish it was, its definitely not the size of a small car lol

This is potentially the greatest crock of shat ever used. By 40" screen on my tv came back on 1st measure as 5.6m and 2nd measure at 36m. I think ill use it to measure my apendage and start a tinder profile... thank the lord i wasnt soley reliant on this terrible app...
