Great and realistic scenery. I get a life like feel of flying an airplane. I love the multiple view function where you get different views in relationship to the aircraft.
Of the airplane fly series, this has the most airports and largest terrain. It's a nice arcade/simulation hybrid with rewarding gameplay.
I have a private pilot's license but I haven't rented an airplane in years. I'm surprised how satisfying it is to fly this app. I love it.
I really like Tri One Games. What happened to the fururistic flight sim? It was cool too

After playing this repeatedly, I've realized 3 things....1. I just flew a distance of 13069 off the map. I'm convinced that the Langoliers are real due to the world disappearing behind me, 2. This game proves that the world is flat after flying 13069 off course and seeing the view, and, 3. I'm so good at this game I believe I can fly a real plane. I plan on heading my local airport to notify them of my skills.
XRL Review: needs improvement, has no VASI, radios or ILS, flight mechanics need to be more realistic it doesn't feel right, no speed decay when climbing, no altitude decay from loss of lift or stall. The map doesn't show runway orientation no vector assistance from ATC not even with IFR. Planes have only major flignt controls, no flaps , trim, or gear, the menus seem unfriendly, have old look, point system needs rethinking, no awards that I noticed
I enjoyed the game, but one day it disappeared from the screen. I opened it in apps and all my progress was gone. I had it all. Not purchased, earned it all. Everything gone. I believe it happens on purpose to get you to buy. So be careful. The game will let u down. And they won't answer emails. So you get let down twice.
