Airtasker

The issue with the sorting feature has not been fixed. The sorting is always set by default to "recommend", which shows tasks that are completely irrelevant. The user must be able to select how the tasks are sorted by default, not to reset to "Recommended" everytime you open the app or refresh the page. Plus the follow/unfollow option for tasks still not added. What a shame for such a good platform to have many small issues that can be fixed with 1 update.

Pretty unintuitive and clunky. Not being able to upload photos or docs without a comment is weird. There should be an "I don't agree" button for when your contractor marks your job as complete before it actually is - there is no clear way to flag disputes within app. An option to request a meeting (and confidentially communicate an address) to review the work before assigned, rather than both parties having to commit without the contractor having seen the site is hugely problematic.

The app works well and posting a job or a task is easy. However I didn't know they charge a booking fee til I accepted an offer. So this is misleading and something ACCC needs to look at. I posted a job for $100 for assembly. When I accepted an offer from a tasker, I got slugged with $113. This was not disclosed during the posting of the job/task..

Almost unusable to browse for jobs now due to the high amount of scam jobs on. There needs to seriously be some sort of moderation of what is being posted. From what I've heard airtasker is now being used just to shift around money. Please sort out as it used to be a great app to make some extra money. There are at least a dozen scam jobs posted each day. You need to do more to stop this.

Easy to use and havent had any issues getting paid. Would recommend it whether you're needing tasks done or you are looking to earn some pocket money yourself. There are lots of jobs especially for moving things around so having a car and trailer is useful.

Had a few task done with airtasker and they all went ok. Until one task that was over 900 AUD never got refunded after cancellation. They sent an email saying the re-found will take same days. Three months later we realised that the re-found never landed in our business account. They said was a "problem with the system". Keep an eye here, looks like when it comes to get your money back this app gets funny. They had over three months to realise our refund did not happen and they did nothing.

Airtasker fee is quite high and people look at completion tasks and reviews in their decision making. Therefore it takes a while to get going earning money. But there is a wide range of tasks. Great for someone who wants to earn a little on the side through to a full blown business.

Great concept, but the fees are ridiculously high even at the platinum level. 2% would be a fair fee. 10% at the Platinum level is an absolute joke. 22% at the bronze level is just straight up robbery. If that isn't bad enough they are also double dipping and charging fees to both the tasker and the taskee. REPLY: Variable rate is fine, make it 2%-5% and there would be no issue. The fees are there for one thing and one thing only: to line the pockets of the shareholders. Just daylight robbery.

I'm Tasker and the platform is very good but something is wrong 1. For any cancellation the reputation of Taskers is going down 2. Not Notification on time The notifications is coming after 30 minutes or more 3 when the posters give you tips you don't have right to all you tips, I didn't calculate but some of your tips the Airtasker platform take and this is not correct because the job is very hard and this tips is your merit. 3. You can not see if you have bad reviews to can reply.

User friendly but have to refresh all the time to get newer notifications. Also I am still waiting for my ID badge to show in my profile, its been over 2 months. I want to know where my personal information have gone to? Thank you

Awesome app. Through finding work on this app,I have met numerous amount of really great people. The only thing is not always being able to respond due to working. I don't use my phone while working, as time is money to yourself and taskee. I usually read and respond after a job is done. Sometimes, before heading to the next job.

Cannot place the order. Have tried to order the service but the payment is not being processed and cannot complete it. Sadly have to leave a negative review as my experience so far is negative. Would expect from the app that has 500k downloads to have a phone or email support. Sadly no number to call, no email to contact. Something to improve...

Pretty awesome app. Handy for a little extra money. Quite easy to navigate and also to communicate with potential clients on.

It is so close to 5 star. It needs an option to see the offers you have put in. And have a list of them. The fee structure makes it difficult to want to quote properly. The fees are too high in some instances. The app also needs an option to build a template of questions required for specific jobs which need qualifications or approval.

Had multiple Taskers not show up to our jobs, they don't cancel the job so you have to wait a week to get your refund from Air tasker, then on top of that you can't leave them feedback and they're completion rate still stays at 100%. What a disappointment in Airtaskers behalf.

I received email from Airtasker and got the Cost Guide from there. Why not include in app? I remember this was in app. Why no search function for Cost Guide instead an endless list?

The app itself is pretty great for the extra income or main whatever you're going for, the people can be a problem sometimes. Always trust in your work

I like earning a bit of extra money, and doing odd jobs, despite the cost of commission from Airtasker. But bloody painful trying to get help from the support centre. Keep getting my comments moderated on the grounds of being "unrelated to the job", despite the fact that I am a tree worker, and they aren't. And I also find myself being targeted and bullied by a platinum level Airtasker who specialises in rubbish collection. Yet his comments about my full time occupation are okay to display.

you can't write to the builder you want and allo allocate a quote to someone you already know. I would also change a bit interface, rather than that it's good

Edit: in previous review I mentioned I couldn't get money back out of the app. I was mistaken sorry so am upping my review rating from 3 to 5. Just a little warning for users. Be careful taking jobs from people with less than a 100% job completion rating. The star rating of the job doer only applies when they compete a job, not if they simply take it but never turn up. This person had an 87% completion rate and it really screwed me over. Only take jobs if they have 100% completion rating

Huge variety of tasks, easy to use UI, lots of support if needed. Great app for making a few dollars here and there! Works well!

First time user. Very happy with the outcome. It was affordable and the tasker was very good.

Definetly not new user friendly, had to pay $8.40 in fees, the app is confusing and the task couldn't even be completed. Can't private message until the money is out of your pocket, is another very annoying feature. Now have to wait for their long customer service times for an email reply for a proper refund and not Airtasker credit.

Very bad. If the person have no raiting in the app, can't be aproved and hired for a job. This is ridiculous app system that pros need to advert them selves to customers and wait if their magesty the customers deside to respond. Most of us has families and children and this app is very offensive and discriminative, for exoerienced people like me. In that way, I could never be hired to do a job and staing in the app is pointless. This app is a joke.

Terrible app, have been scammed multiple times and the community is horrid and toxic, airtasker support are not useful at all and only aimed to make issues worse, and after about 6 months on the app my account was suspended and money stolen from me with no way of contacting the support team and no explanation. Stay away from this app at all costs.

the app itself is easy to use. the fees are huge at both ends of the transaction. beware job providers and workers alike. Decent app and support though.

We had two of our four-person moving team pull out the night before we were moving house. A friend suggested I try Airtasker, and what a fabulous recommendation that turned out to be. We will certainly use this service again.

This app is essentially useless. It tells me that my birthday is invalid? How can someone's dob be bloody invalid? Ontop of that ot allows the customer to set prices,sorry no. Just no. Simply put, you dont set my prices, i do. Frankly the average customer has absolutely no idea what my time is worth,or what construction industry wages should be. Because they don't work in my sector. That simple. So you may only want to pay 200 to get your house painted but that's not how it works.
