I'd like to give it a negative 5 but that's not an option. There is no update available for it to work on my phone. It states it's for an older version/system. Well since phone companies didn't stop updating and upgrading their phones, you'd think this app would do the same or direct you to another app that will work in it's place.
I did the Phone Administrators search Patrick Clemente mentioned in his review and enabled the permissions for the LG AW Service. Rebooted my phone and the hub app finally pulled down my organization's configuration. I did not need to do that when I had a Samsung. Can't believe that wasn't added to the app info this whole time when people were constantly posting that the app doesn't work. 2 stars for that.
Have tried installing this twice now, two months apart, both times Android fails to install, citing this app crashing as the problem. I do not know how VMware is an industry standard, every time their name comes up something breaks.
Doesn't work gracefully with intelligent hub on LG G8X. You need to go into settings then apps and notifications and select special access then phone administrators then toggle the AirWatch LG Service. Only that seems to unclog things.
Got a new LG V60 ThinQ Dual Screen with Android 10. Installed Intelligent Hub and then this service app. This version isn't campatible with Android 10 and keeps crashing when it starts.
This app is useless. like the other reviewers said here, this app does not work. I'm using an LG G8 ThinQ. Please update and fix. This is the only way alot of us are able to access our company email on our device. Please stop neglecting this application and give us the update many of us require here. Thank you.
This apps doesn't work with LG V40 ThinQ. This version is not compatible with mobile OS version. It hangged and keep stopping. There is no updates available in Google store.
Absolutely awful and useless. Just keeps crashing and restarting. I can't access my work content.
Does not work with g8x thinq. On opening it constantly crashes so i can not use my phone for work purposes.
App does not work. Using LG G8 ThinQ and app force closes when attempting to register with Intelligent Hub. Can't access corporate email.
LG is such reputed and trusted brand but can't meet the customer requirement and Technology adaptation. It is not working on LG g8x thinQ phone saying not suitable for current android version.
Doesn't work at all and is not allowing me access most of my work applications on phone. Like others have stated, please update!
Update NOW. The latest android devices broke the app and now I can't get work emails to my phone. Great...
The app keeps crashing and not working. When we will have a proper version?
AirWatch doesn't work on any LG running Android 10 or greater. I wonder how much Samsung and Apple are paying VMWare to keep other phones from being eligible for MDM.
Won't open, keeps crashing running, LG V30 Android 9, uninstalled and reinstalled, same problem
Kindly update this app as it is crashing every time for emm services and shows tunnel error.
This app does not work! Fix it! Force closes every time try to open......
This app WILL NOT WORK on my LG G8 Thinq. Needs an update, has not been one since last year...
Cannot get it to work. Consistently crashes and will not open.
Stopped working on my phone suddenly a month ago... still waiting for updates!!
abysmal This is not upgraded to Android 9.0 and will not work with that version... So much for LG V40 ...
pointless and cannot uninstall. feels like I am forced to keep it on the phone.
Does not work on android 10. Keeps crashing.
Out of date, needs to be updated to support Android 9. LG V50
Won't work. App keeps closing is the error
LG V40 here, version does not support android 9! Sent email to AirWatch, waited for over a month with no reply!! What a responsible company this is...
I finally got it to work. After I installed Hub and the LG Service, I had to go into my phone settings (LG Stylo 5) and search for Phone Administrators and ensure that both the Hub and the LG Service both had special access. Once I did that, I fumbled my way through the prompts and managed to get my company's Inbox app to open and update. Only three stars because of the hopelessly confusing app, lack of clear instructions, and lost productivity as a result.
