To start using AirWire, you need no additional equipment. It is enough to have a TV set connected to the Internet or a media player and access to the Internet with the data rate not less than 4 Mbit/s.As of today, AirWire has been tested with DLNA TVs, media players and music receivers from popular TV and HiFi brands.

------------------IMPORTANT:------------------Searching for devices can take up to 1 minuteKnown issues:
• If AirWire has found no devices, check if they are connected to the same network as WiFi.
• The WiFi router should have the enabled function of traffic exchange between devices in the LAN.
• Settings of your LAN, Internet connection broadband, load level of the server from which the video is transferred can influence the video quality.
• If the application does not find your media player or TV set, check if the Digital Media Renderer (DMR) option is enabled
• Some devices partially support the DLNA standard, because of which they cannot perform some commands of the application
• Some video files and images cannot be played back since the device in which you try to open them does not support such file formats.

Simple and user friendly. Never had a problem with the app and almost always works. Only drawback is no seek bar on player and even though both devices on unoccupied home wifi buffering still occurs on regular hd vids.. other than that, recommendable app if you want dlna
Atlast a player that streams my media files from iOmega NAS to CRT TV via android TV device, selected from esfile explorer. Movie subtitles are not supported yet. Sometimes Streaming get struck even though i have 300 mbps modem. Would give 5 star if supports movie subtitle n streaming gets faster
I use this app to connect to my minidlna service on one of my linux hosts. It works great. I encoded much of my library using AC3 for audio. Most Android players had trouble with it (even the default player in this app). But because of the flexibility of this app, I was able to use a player that allowed for custom codecs. If there was anything that could be improved, I would say play list handling options could be added. At least the optional ability to drop items you have already watched.
This application works immediately after install. I love that you can stream audio/video from IP cameras. However, when you have 1000 movies that you want to stream to your TV and you can't remember what the movie is about based on its title alone displaying the DVD cover art for that movie is extremely vital. This app doesn't display DVD cover art. For that it is lacking and that is a rather important detail. Give support for DVD Cover Art (e.g. Folder.jpg and movie_filename.jpg) and I'll give a 5-star.
If there was a 3 1/2 star i would give it that. Once its running right it works great. I use it to send movies through my XBox 1 but sometimes it won't even find my XBox to connect but my XBox recognizes it. But even with that it won't play. But for a free app it's worth the download.
This is the best app out there for streaming videos to my Xbox One because the default streaming for my samsung galaxy 5 doesn't work half the time, but if I could make a suggestion it would be amazing if you could actually store devices that you used for your video player so that don't have to pick it every time you wanted to play a video when you're on the same network as the device. Just downloaded and works absolutely brilliant. ...a lot of other streaming apps I have used have worked fine until they've tried to make improvements and have broken the app. This is working fine and I love it the old saying goes if it's not broke don't try fix it ....it works and it works well.
This app is brilliant connects to chromecast, consoles and all share TV (Samsung tv) I will change to 5* if a skip feature is added this I'm sure is the only thing that stops me recommending this app to any one
I love this app, but tonight March 2nd, 2016 it started to not let me connect to any players. It will not connect to my xbox one and Xbox 360 nor my smart TV. Please help me I don't understand what happened where I cannot connect to a player. Thank you.
It is incredible, yet also absurd, that this app is still the best UPnP streamer out there. Not only for watching local files, mind youu, but also any video you play on your android browser, with a simple press on the "share" button, and then "AirWire" - still much faster and more convinient than any newer alternative. I also respect the author for presenting an option for a premium purchase, without stuffing commercials in my face as if to punish me for using the free version. This alone is beautiful. Actually, as I'm writing this I feel like getting premium right now, purely out of respect.
I've tried both bubble upnp and all cast before sterling on this one. The best features I like are that if I navigate to a folder on my media server and hit play, it automatically creates as play list and plays all videos. It also runs cooler - power setting set to minimal
When trying to play music from a computer or NAS drive, this message is displayed: "action failed". Not a very helpful error message. Gave up.
Ive noticed it often stops playing videos halfway and stays on buffering until it crashes and reloads the file. Also I really wish you guys would release a windows version of this app to play videos directly from my laptop (windows 7) to my smart TV. That would be amazing
Wonderful app to play my videos from android on my raspberry pi over wifi. That too free. Great. Only Drawback is if possible provide thumbnails for videos
The app is straight forward and easy to use/navigate. Works best of all the apps I've used to cast.
Powerful server and player, does near everything I want, deserves a 5 even not being my favourite choice. Though shallow it carries very wide features allowing me to handle in little depth all I need.
I have this installed on a tablet, but if I try to play a video through it to my Android phone, I end up not being ablet to watch it on my phone.
Full of ads. Does not have the ability to receive play backs via dlna, local dlna renderer server. But better is Bubble upnp.
Great software. I purchased in just 2 dollars.. Movie sometime breaks and jumps ahead. Anyway good app. Need to focus on jump issue..
It needs to be faster to list large amounts of time in folders with hundreds of videos but other a very top notch tool. Also if volume was base 20 not 100 it would be better.
The app worked great with my Pioneer vsx 2021. Managed to see and play all my music from the PC using ES . Only issue is that when I used ES to see youtube I could not stream music to my amp. Hope this issue will be fixed in the future. Could be an ES problem or an Airwire problem. For the rest it worked fine.
Been looking for a way of streaming local content from my phone to smart TV - thought I'd give this a go. Works fine (streams to Samsung smart TV). BUT - it only works if there is an internet connection. Please can we have an update to fix this - I'm sure I cant be the only one that that wants to stream local media and cant see why internet connection is needed (unless for ads?). Seems to be a general issue with all standard TV HDMI sticks such as chromecast etc. Will have to try something else instead.
Its cool. Works with my xbox and surround sound system. No complaints here besides sometimes it stays running in my phones' background
Just the app I was searching to wirelessly stream music over dlna. Just one minor glitch, app seems to disconnect from dlna media player some times. Restarting the app resolves the issue.
Very good It worked with my Samsung j7 mobile. I was able to play the vedio and music files. But supports only few formats. Only supports text documents. Not suitable for ppt presentations..
First for videos you only see a list, cannot see or know what you are trying to select and 2nd when I connect to my Samsung tv it just keeps.loading and times out.
i bought the streaming option and it never works. it always says payment error. meanwhile its been paid for!
