Airy - Free TV & Movie Streaming App Forever

Used to be pretty good. However I hadn't used in a bit. Came back to get 37 commercials in 24 minutes. Y'all got way to greedy way to quick. And the issue that you don't seem to want to address. All the decent shows are gone. Only garbage left. Definite uninstall. And if your thinking of installing. Don't waste your time or memory space. Zero ⭐

I like the app, but I don't like the way ads interrupt shows every few minutes without any warning. Some of the ads are very repetitive and take a long time to air. I get it that dealing with ads when using free apps is to be expected, but what happens with this app is going to the extreme. Maybe the developer will find a better way to display ads in this app. The show programs offered are really nice. I'd like to see more sports offered and possibly some more cartoons. Keep up the good work.👍

I really like this app. Works great, and actually has a few more channels than some of the other free apps. I would give it 5 stars but there is one thing that really bugs me when using it. The ads suck of course but I get it, that's what pays the bills but when an ad comes on instead of keeping on playing you have to manually close the ad. So for me streaming from my phone to the tv, I literally have to be there with my device to close the ad for the show to keep playing.. my only gripe lol

This used to be one of my go to apps. Wasn't home for a few days and when I came back yesterday and turned AIRY on, next thing I know it's nothing but interruption after interruption due to Google Play ads throughout my shows. Very frustrating, as I had to search for a mouse just to turn some of them off. It has made watching almost unbearable. Prior to update, I did not have this problem. Fix this and I'll change to 5 Starr rating I would have given. Much better now. Thank you.

I uninstalled this app, due to the fact that when an ad appears, if you do not click on the ad the app will close. Unlike "regular" tv ads, it doesn't return you to your program. It's too bad because this app has several of my favorite TV shows. Ok I installed Airy tv again and nothing has changed. In fact I have to click the ad twice. I really enjoy the vast array of programs but I can't enjoy watching the programs. So I must delete.

App could be great if several problems were fixed. Several shows just won't load, the 'terms of service' just loads the 'privacy policy', the time scale at the top shows some other time zone. I do like the easy to use controls and the content is amazing. The ads are small and clear quickly and easily. Over all I generally like this app, except for the problems.

I absolutely love this app as I absolutely love older tv series. The problem I'm having is I want to watch on my TV through my Roku. When I press the streaming button I get a screen that says "finding device" but then nothing comes up to be able to cast the show from this app to my Roku. I've never had this problem with any other app ever. I disabled the app and put it back on again but the same problem persists. Please anyone help me figure this problem out.

I found the movie "My Man Godfrey" on classic comedy. About 10-15 minutes to the end, it changed to some sitcom from the 1950's. The Barney Miller channel was blue with a static image, only sound. I had problems with other channels also. The ads happen at random times instead of natural commercial breaks. And I have to tap the "x" to make it go away as if I am playing a video game. Overall, this has been a miserable experience.

Haven't had a chance to see, and watch and the featured services and channels or play around with settings, actually i can't find many settings at all. A bit of a let down, but i guess it doesn't make the app over complicated. Awesome that it has Chrome Cast direct from veiwng screen . Love the no ads. Love that it's free. I have already put one of my mates on to the app after my lunch time viewing binge too get my mind off work

Works great for me. Great picture, no problem loading. Every channel I tried works perfectly. No complaints ! The adds are not that bad ! ( My opinion) Only thing is...just like every other "free tv" app, you don't get major stations like ABC NBC CBS etc. But what you do get is a great selection of OLD shows from the 50s and 60s. Fun to see again but not what I'm looking for. I'll prob keep the app for a while. If there was a reasonably priced paid version with the major stations I would love it

This is honestly a great app, I find myself using it quite alot. I don't get why some people are complaining about the ads, you get ads everywhere, including actual tv. I'd really appreciate a rock or alt music channel though! [Edit] it seems the music channels are gone now? I haven't been on this app for a while and I've come back to only two music channels that I'm definitely not interested in. Sucks 😔

Pile of trash. It's all youtube videos, guide is a lie, and if you leave a channel and come back, the entire show starts back over. Also 99.999% of the "channels" don't work. Don't try this. There's better options. Edit: bad wifi? I've tried this app on 3 different networks. Same result. It does start over. Check your app, use it as a normal user, not a developer. You'll see. Edit 2 I emailed them. Hopefully we can fix it and I'll leave good review and 5 starts. Seems like a great app it if work

In my opinion this app would be five stars if it wasn't for the commercials, I understand that you have commercials but your app needs the ability or when it goes to commercial and when a commercial ends it automatically resumes the program you're watching instead of the the viewer having to initiate the change to go back to the program that you are watching which happens about every 4 to 5 minutes. The shows are good the movies are good but this is a problem you really need to address !!

Great lineup of channels. It's fun to see that some shows have their own dedicated channel. Regarding the ads, I think the most helpful thing to the user experience would be for the ads to automatically close once they have displayed for the required time instead of clicking the 'X'. Thanks for the cool app and service!

WOW! Terrible, crappy. Unwatchable. Starts with a 4? Minute commerial-- can't tell if it was actually that long because it would not stop repeatedly buffering. This is not a covid or google issue. This is crappy software period. This is the only app that starts with a commercial and has buffering issues on my phone. I do not know how they would get a legitimate score over 1 star. Try anything else. Plenty of better apps without buffering problems and less commercials.

Good choice of channels with lots of great shows and movies. The only problem with this app is the annoying ads that pop up while your watching a channel. If I wanted to join the apps in question i would have got them so this tells you I ain't bloody interested in the apps I just want to watch in peace. It wouldn't be so bad if the bloody ads came up after the program had finished. I would give it a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the bloody ads

Ads ads and more ads. I can understand commercial breaks, but there's ads on the menu under every category and there's pop up ads in the middle of a show. App runs fine on my phone, but does not run good on roku. You can't see the channel number as it is off the screen on roku. And its not my tv settings in case you are wondering. Also, there is a limited channel lineup on roku. You only get like 10 channels. In short, this app is a waste of time. Just stick with Pluto until they improve Airy.

I go to watch something, an ad comes up for a game that I already have (though not that version). It looks like there's a 60 second timer so I let the ad run. When the ad finishes, there is no way to close it out...even tried the back arrow to see if that would take me back to the guide.. nothing worked. Ridiculous. So much for this app.

Great App with Great Channels, however, the fact that a AD pops up about every 7 mins or so is very annoying. This app would be better off showing regular commericals, like Pluto TV, rather than these annoying pop-up ads every few minutes. ***Indeed I will. Are you also addressing the issue where when one program ends the next one fails to load unless you change channels and then go back again? Thanks!

I found this app and decided to try it even though one reviewer said it showed ads every five minutes. I found that review to be wrong because the ads are about the same as any other "free" service. The channels are easy to scroll down so you can see what is available. I found a lot of older content including movies and sitcoms. If you enjoy watching content such as that on tvland, you'll enjoy this app. I've only had it a few days so I haven't explored all of the content but like it so far

I like the app because it's got programs I grew up watching. I just wish they could stop the ads from coming in through the middle of a program every few minutes. It happens more on certain apps and hardly any time on a not so popular app. However I rate it a four because of the programs offered. I hope it gets better as time passes.

Fantastic App, Very Diverse Vintage TV and Movies. There is something for everyone. Developer seems responsive to troubleshoot user feedback and engaged in continual improvement. Ads appearing on your device while App is in-use are a little invasive, but if you are casting to a TV, they do not interrupt the TV playback, which continues the content stream while the Ad is displaying on your device. Thusfar this is a solid performer. Well done!

Great shows and movies but having to close out the ads when they finish is annoying for when you just want to watch TV. The buffering for upwards of a minute and a half is the most annoying thing in the world. I also have the Pluto app and have no buffering so I know it is this app. I really want to give 5 stars but there are still some bugs that need worked out.

Has a good range of TV and movies. Would give 5 stars but for the pop-up ads. They don't account for the show being watched then content is missed. Then, the show itself can have ads so at times the ads feel burdensome. EDIT Updated to 5 stars. Ads don't seem to interfere any longer. As for content, EXCELLENT. While the channels keep flipping about is difficult to keep track of what is where, what you offer is top notch. Req: Bring back Doctor Who please.

On my Android TV device there is no way to "press play/pause" to view fullscreen. The remote for the device (like a lot of remotes these days) doesn't have those buttons. On the remote for my TV where I can use HDMI-CEC, pressing the play button does not make the app enter fullscreen. UPDATE: I have emailed. Thanks for the great response to user feedback. I've increased my rating to 4 because of it :-) RATING BACK TO 1. AFTER INITIAL RESPONSE, NOW NO-ONE IS RESPONDING TO MY EMAILS. NOT HAPPY.

Waste of time. WAY too many ads. Upon trying this app out, i selected a movie. Out of the total of maybe 4 minutes , i had 3 ad breaks. The first one was LITERALLY not even 10 seconds into the very start. The second one was within the next 2 minutes after returning from the first wave of ads. By the 3rd one came around about 2 minutes later, i wad done. Yes, apps use ads to make money but this is just ridiculous. 4 minutes, 3 breaks, 10 ads..no thanks.

Update: I had to change my rating for 5 to 3 because all the channels I used to watch are gone. And then there's the issue with casting... The app keeps freezing on the screen. It says "Airy" but goes nowhere. Initial 5 star review: The best free tv app! They keep adding classic shows! Keep it up!

Not good like before, randomly skips to another program after ads and has become an ad factory, some ads display a " skip ad " button but the button doesn't work and you have to sit through 30 second or more ad. Also, the movie selections don't change,always same ones repeating for the most part. This app has become intolerable too often. There's a few other apps that are better.. Pluto, Xumo, etc.

I've downgraded this app. From 5 stars to 4, because. You must hit the back button. After nearly every advertisement. Just to get back to the programming. I The show options are so good. I'd be willing to pay a fee. Not to eliminate advertising. But eliminate having to hit the back button. After nearly every one. "*SUPER ANNOYING*"!!!!!

I just love your app. Just wish it worked better on Roku TV. It always freezes and some channels don't work? My Amazon Fire TV works better. Android and iPhone app are great too, but have a lot of commercials. I would be happy to buy the app to eliminate the ads. I will keep trying. Great variety of classic TV shows.
