Aix Weather Widget (donate)

like many others I've used and liked this app for years, since the widget allows an immediate glance at the temperature and precipitation in 1-hour intervals. And it was completely free too. I just got a new phone, bought the app, and now i tried a bunch of US cities among other continents and it kept trying but failing to retrieve weather data. The only cities working are the stock ones that comes with the app. I'd gladly update this once the issue is fixed. Android version: 8.0.0

Hmmm. I have been used this apk during the last 6 years with different devices, with different ROMs because of simplicity, accuracy and reliability. But during the last few months have appeared recurring problems (on S10e with stock ROM). The place of widget is oftast dark and shows only " iniciating and getting weather data" , not more. It is clear that my experience is not solitar here and the problems appeared since the last year. PLEASE fix it. Otherwise it's time to replace it...

I have been using this widget for years, it is always front-and-centre on my home screen. It is excellent, performant and doesn't excessively drain battery. I decided to donate because of the recent rendering issue which was fixed _incredibly_ quickly - and caused me to realise how incredibly stable and reliable it had been! The dev(s) are on the ball.

I have been using this app for over 5 years across a lot of devices and it has worked like a champ, though over the last few weeks it has failed to pull weather data from the National Weather Service, so all i see is a little text box saying "Failed to get weather data" would be awesome if this issue was fixed.

Excellent widget! Been using this for years. Then discovered there is a donate version. I bought it immediately. Keep up the good work Per Magnus! Hope you can quickly fix the recent problem that weather data is no longer loaded. Thanks for being very responsive in the past.

App is great. I use it for three widgets (for three cities). You can also resize the widgets (in Android Pie) which is nice! I've been using this app for some years now. I really like it. I've tried a few others and they weren't as satisfying as this one. It's somewhat surprising how few reviews and how few downloads it has and considering how nice it is.

Try 'meteogram' by cloud3squared instead... a similar graphical format as Aix but with so many more variables to display, and a choice of data providers. And meteogram comes with a resizable widget and interactive app. Plus, it actually works.

I've been using the app for a long time. By far the best. I open my home screen and see the next 24 hrs weather at a glance. Far better than having to open something to get a snapshot of the current temp.

The widget no longer works. It fails to load weather data for several days now. Is it no longer supported, I don't know. I used to love the quick overview you get with this widget.

So, I saw that there was a donation version, uninstalled the one I had and installed the one I bought and now it just says "daily search quota filled for your IP address" incessantly, whether on WiFi or data. Can you please tell me what to do? I have been using this widget for too long and love it too much to change to another.

I downloaded the free version and then the paid version. I uninstalled it then reinstalled and it keeps failing to load the data. I give up.

I used to use this app all the time on my old phone. It doesn't work now that I upgraded phones. I'm am very disappointed by this since it was the most useful weather app I could find

Still easily the best weather widget for Android. Useful information at a glance. Great ongoing support.

I love this app but it just stopped working after my Samsung S9 updated itself (2019-02-25). Magnus, I hope you can fix it! I have donated.

I liked the free version so much that I felt the developer most definitely deserved a donation. Thank you for not polluting the free version with adverts.

Finally stopped working, used for 10yrs i think, unique and indicative, very sad! when you pay for it years back - hope i can find an alternative 🙏

I uninstall the free version and purchased this donated version. Shows the error. Daily search quote reached. Please fix this.

Purchased. But does not work in India. (says "IP quota exceeded") Cannot add city. Disappointed 😞 UPDATE: STARTED WORKING the next day😕.

Big fan of this app but the last update removed the clouds from the widget. It doesn't look right anymore

I prefer previous version. I shouldn't have bought it. When I check the weather, it's often out of work. So uncomfortable.

PROBLEM LOADING WIDGET, just after my pixel 3a upgraded to Android 11, reboot and app reinstall didn't fix the issue, please fix it

This last update completely screwed up widget dimensions! It's now barely visible! Can I roll back to previous version ?

I've been using Aix every day, for years, and I'm happy to pay for the developer to keep it running. Thank you Magnus!
