This app is great. It's easy to use and is well designed. However, I have Home Assistant and use it to integrate all my IoT smart devices, but the only thing missing is automating the Ajax system, because it lacks a public API, and because of that I am unable to automate anything connected to Ajax. This is the reason for my rating.
Was advised by Ian as I had wooden floors to have installed a wireless alarm system. I was happy with not to have them pulled up. For the excellent service and simplicity of the system is amazing. Pull the app up even miles away from the house I can set or disarm the alarm from my phone at a cost of little In my eyes. Ian came and left my property with not even knowing he'd been there. Professional throughout! Would highly recommend Allsafe security especially Ajax security system.
No alerts in Bluetooth? I use my phone to stream music most of the day at work and in my car, and for some reason I get no notification when it's tripped even though I have allowed all permissions... Not much use if I don't know it's going off!
Very pleasant to use. Only issue I have - once I open notification sounds in system settings, it will change the loud alarm sound for very silent system sound and it can't be undone. Tested on 3 phones.
Recovery password didn't work. It didn't allow to enter phone number. Each time the app shows the toast that phone is in invalid format. You need to select you county a few times to make it work. After that it didn't accept codes from the email and sms. Have to start whole journey from the beginning. Saw the same issue with phone number. But, no sms and no email this time. Can't restore the password.

Works adequately, provided you have excellent eyesight. Probably one of the worst visually-designed apps I have ever encountered. The Control screen uses symbols which are light grey on dark grey and you just have to guess which is which. The Notifications list has a light grey text on on off-white background; almost unreadable. If there is an alternative app then you would be advised to use it; but if you have an Ajax system, you're probably stuck with it!
Great product, absolutely phenomenal support, and of course a solid app! The only catch is my short experience as my installation was quite recent, and maybe the price to some, but definitely worth the investment 😁 as for the app: absolutely jam packed full of features and easy to set up. Other users can be added and permissions changed accordingly (unless pending invite, at the time of this review, you will need to quickly switch their perms out when they register randomly down the line)
While it's a nice app, I've had now twice problems with my key fob. First time it wouldn't stop blinking, and they kindly replaced it. Now, wit the latest firmware upgrade it cannot arm, nor disarm, nor do any operation. All it does it show a red light no matter what you click. It's a shame but errors like that in a top notch (and expensive!) system really shouldn't happen. I'm hoping the problem is firmware related and not hardware related, otherwise I guess I'll have to ship it again and wait
The application is decent but the functionality is in very low level. I have two zones that I want to arm independently in night mode. I simply can't. So I have to disable radars by hand and arm the alarm in day mode in which I can handle each zone separately. Then, if I leave home I have to re-enable them!!! This is not only a time-consuming procedure but it is also a security issue because I have to remember to re-enable the radars. Please fix this.
Good app but needs improvement! Overall app is ok, however most lacking feature is not the alarm itself but the fact that you can't reorder your devices in device list. Also for all the smarthome features (switches and plugs etc.) Please make a separate tab or custom list so we can have quick access to them and not have to scroll through long list of alarm devices to even find them. Ex. when I want to open my electric gate, I have to scroll through 40 alarm devices to get to the gate relay..
The alarm system is amazing but the app is not as good. The notifications sometimes does not work. A night mode (dark mode) for the app would be very useful as 99% of the time when you have a burglary it is at night and then you can not read a thing. A bit more features or scenarios for the relays would also be very useful.
1. Unstable work with SIM-cards. Hub cannot receive phone number. 2. "Ajax notification center" completely useless - could open ajax app, at least. 3. No dark theme of app. 4. No reorder or sorting of devices
Cool app, works fine, safe a lot of time. But could you please change the voice on more neutral? Low priority task :-)
A joke.. very unrealable notifications, battery optimization off, app locked in the recents, all notifications are of highest importance, 8Gb of ram, and this stupid app still not showing most of the notifications in time!! Not speaking about silly scenarios, how I can turn on smart plug when I turn on night mode when in house? Spoiler, there is no way, do it manually each time! Spent 700$ on unreliable alarm system!
The colours for the controls on the virtual fob need to change. It is so difficult to differentiate between the 4 shapes.
It's been 2 years since I've got the Ajax system for my house. While I like it, I've reported to support the biggest issue for me right away (too faint fonts on a 5" 2160*1080 display of my Sony XZ2 Compact, especially at night). I was told then that developers are considering app redesign. Well, where are you on that, two years later? 3 stars thus far.
Firstly, very well designed products and app. I had a bit of a surprise just now though - I arrived home awhile ago, and only received all my notifications (in one go) 15 minutes later. That is quite a massive delay. Is there perhaps a check for if the notifications aren't delivered in time? I have both `Background Connection` and `Keep-Alive Service` enabled. Another thing - how can I send a message to the Hub, to tell it to arm and disarm, from my current smart home system?
This security system is BY FAR the BEST alarm system you can get. Highest quality detectors, and best support if you need, you can imagine. All completely wireless and easy to setup by yourself. Full control by your own smartphone. Complete setup will only take 30 minutes. I love it!
The app works fine but it's not customizable on the GUI, i.e. One cannot create a on/off button to control the relay, and maybe for security reasons the Hub doesn't allow external open source apps to read it, this would enable one to be creative with the GUI without being bound by this App's limitations. This app can also use a touch of black like the desktop version.
Great alarm system on indoor applications but for outdoor I received false alarm notifications at sun rise and sunset. I have Beam curtain and outdoor alarm beam.
Hello. Maybe the notification center could lead to the app on tap, since it's sitting there already. Alarm could be better too, it's muted in silent mode (maybe you could use android sleep alarm api to counteract that). UPD: Thanks for your response! I use OnePlus 6T which has a convenient mute slider on the right bezel, and this slider doesn't use don't disturb mode, it only turns down the volume completely (media, system abd notofications execpt the one used for alarms).
Primary usecase for me is that of smart home (control the lighting, some appliances). Scenarios allow to do that nicely. What I lack is Google Home integration - it would be a lot more convenient to say something like "switch bathroom lights on", "turn boiler on", "set security on" etc than opening the app for that.
This Alarm System and App is revolutionary - I don't believe there is any alternative product on the market that works as efficiently as this system. The App is a pleasure to use. This alarm system has kept my family and property safe. I would highly recommend it.
Has passcode lock stopped working?
Great for my new alarm. I absolutely love this app and this alarm. I have to say that this system is great, very stable, very reliable and easy to setup. This alarm beats all system with longer history than Ajax. Great job, just keep doing it.
So far it's the best wireless alarm system one can get. Pretty expensive, but worth every cent. As long the support is of good quality and free, I plan to stick to Ajax alarm and already looking for upgrades (more sensors, camera, etc).
All works fine, but after I updated my phone to android 12, I get a blank notification that I cannot get rid off. Galaxy Note 20
