WiFi only connects if you switch off mobile data on your phone, which is a bit of a faff. When you do eventually get connected to the camera it doesn't show the GPS or speed data in the app - you have to take the card out and pop it into a PC to see that.
Nothing happens when I try and connect Wifi. Stays on the same screen. I'm syncing it to a galaxy s9.so there should be no problems. I've tried restarting phone and camera. Nothing is working
You can download video from camera to phone through wifi, but it takes long time. You can also change camera settings through phone. But for me a big disappointment stems from GPS data not playing on phone (I'm using a Samsung J7 android phone). Wil play on pc with an akaso player download.
Why do I have to be within range of the camera to view data on it? I thought the entire point of the app was to view data when I'm away. This app is meaningless. Until I am able to connect my Dashcam to my router and view it remotely, This rating will stay at a low rating!
This thing is absolutely terrible to get connected to the camera. Takes many attempts. The YI dash camera and app work much better. Please fix your app to connect better.
Misses almost half of my time driving. I have adjusted the setting numerous time. I was just ran off the road and it captured nothing.
Super slow to load GPS/Map data and then it displays my speed 2-3x what it was. Overall the app works, but just barely
Need to improve some things like work very slow while I do try to connect with camera. Most important thing to improve is that it disconnect the cell phone data while downloading videos via wifi.
Takes a long time to connect to WiFi. I originally had thought that the WiFi was to check the camera while away from the car. I can do no such thing.
Pointless in developing an app that doesn't work. Won't even open so I am returning their camera aswell. Akaso can thank their app developers for loss of business.
Both app and device freeze all the time. very buggy app, do you ever test it before you launch it to the public?
App is not as advertised in the description, huge waste of time to download, wait till you try and delete some of your videos and they won't delete, you'll be pisse😖 off
I have had this camera for about 6 months now. And it has worked pretty well so far. The only thing that I would like to see made available, is a zoom capability.
Works OK. Cannot delete videos. So once full, your stuck.
Very poor app. Difficult to open the videos even if the wifi is connected
not friendly user.. downloading it before you can view the video but you must have another player.. 👎

Gps and Km speed is not seeing in video
Not the best out there but it works as advertised for me , I have Pixel 4A 5G. Unfortunately after the latest update after downloading the videos it shows my speed about two and a half times faster. For example where I was going 30 miles an hour it would show 80 miles an hour that's not good if you have to prove that you weren't speeding. I downgraded back to version 130 and speed shows correctly.
