Awesome app! Nice to have a learning tool made by people of color for children of color. Powerful design, presentation, and musical content. Inspires learning for my daughter.
This could have been a great app but the font is confusing for kids who are still learning alphabets. I can't quit the app as well it is consuming my battery.
I love that my child can see little people that look like him. And the songs are so on point, realistic and catchy! He is only 12 mths and he learned alot of the songs already.

Perfect we watch Akili and Me on YouTube, to echo other parents my little one loves seeing characters that look like her, the songs are great. She is 4 months but knows and recognises the songs!!!
I really love Akili and Me for our daughter. I would highly recommend this app for anyone and for you to subscribe to her YouTube channel. It is engaging, fun and educational. Our daughter loves her.
My 3 year old loves this app! Shes only had it for a short time but she can match most of the alphabets with their sounds. I really like that it does'nt need WiFi.
I use Akili with my toddlers at daycare. They enjoy the interactive activities & the music. I can use Akili in either a group session or individually. I'm so thankful this is the coolest
It is a nice app, but I don't like the font used. The font used is not the best for kids, who are now learning the shapes of the letters. For example, the "k" looks like an "R".
It's fun to play my toddler loves the game so much it's so much fun even my 9 year old plays it.my toddler even writes the alphabet in paper.so much fun to play
I like it because you can do the interesting part without any sequences and without any WiFi networks.

Great for toddlers. It goes from A to Z but I wish that it teaches numbers,shapes and colors but it is not bad

My Pre K students love "Akili and me"!!!! I use A LOT your videos for my Phonics classes. So when I show my kids this game and gave them the opportunity to play with Akili, they just got crazy!!!!
It is great.. But the volume is very low.. I have my phone turned up.. Please help!

I used to watch it on sabc 2.. My son loves it. He's 6 months today. I'm definitely downloading it as his birth month present
Exceptional app, kids get the hang of it really quick and learn fast.
Downloaded it on 3 phones it just plays the welcome song with the letters displayed below the rainbow when I tap a letter it enlarges but does nothing else....
The game is interesting to play but no ways of going back when the game is running.
Its good but ,,it confuses children who are learning with the new syllubus "pronounciation of the alphabets"

Great, interactive app with very catchy songs and lovely visual aids for young children. The content therein is very well researched/presented and it's laden with extremely informative and stimulating information!! The icing on the cake is from using both lovely cartoons and real, precious children!! A huge kudos to the developers/contributers!!
