Easy to use, reliable, and an easy way to stay up on the news!
No problems with app at all always get tge latest news for my area.
Everything works perfect. Can enlarge print by pinch spreading the display or just tapping on the article. Gives a real newspaper feel with all the advantages of modern technology!
Very convenient and easy to read.
Been a subscriber for quite a while, almost every time I go to log on there's an issue. Content is good, if you can get to it. FOLLOWUP: 11/2020 - problems with the website have improved dramatically. I recently renewed my subscription!
The last update caused issues preventing me from opening articles. It's a real hemorrhoid now to enlarge the print to be able to actually read articles. I pay a monthly fee, so I expect to be able to use the app conveniently. If it's not fixed in the next few days, I will terminate my subscription and uninstall the app.
Ever since it was updated I cannot get it to open. The way it is now it is useless. Glad I still get the paper copy. FIX IT SO WE CAN USE IT. Reset my password per ABJ rep. Couldn't open so I installed and reinstalled, still won't open. FIX THIS OR DELETE THIS APP.
I downloaded the latest version of this app and still only get a blank page with an "X" in the top right corner. This app used to work fine many months ago.
I recently got a subscription to the ABJ, and I use this app to read the paper. Love it. You click an article on the paper and the app brings it up in mobile form. Other great options.
this app is the worst ever . its so bad I might cancel my subscription after 40 years. I even called tne editor Mike Douglas about this to no avail . the thing is trash. The main problem I have is that you can not open the app.
Used to be much better. Now I can read a few pages a day, then it goes blank and won't reload. Come on ABJ, what am I paying for here? Fix all of the issues, and get it right for a change!
I forgot I lived in a Democrat controlled town, and why shouldn't the Akron Beacon be any different. Outside of ads, and weather it's full of liberial based, and sometimes not fact written articles. I expect this from CNN, but not from a local city newspaper.
I am having a generally good experience but on occasion the app requires me to login again and again. Hopefully that will be remedied in the future.
This app is a great way to keep up with Akron's local news and it is easy to navigate.
Great...at first...then it doesn't allow for Google + logins for some reason. Want to read the news is all, please fix.
enjoy the app. still prefer a physical paper but it is a decent substitute when needed.

Why don't you just leave it alone. It worked fine until you screwed with it. Doesn't work AT ALL!
fails to honor a subscription so a customer can login ... fix this!

Didn't work with Google sign on. I uninstalled.

The electronic ABJ has become better over years.
The more I use it the better I like it!
Only problem I have is with comics. If I try to make bigger they become too fuzzy.
