Alarm Box

This used to work but unfortunately it has become unreliable. I missed a few Responder Alarms recently when it should have Alarmed and it did not. It's not just me or my phone. Most Responders in our community who use it are having similar problems. I double checked all settings and they are all OK. The ability to switch to English Language for all the Settings & Instructions would be useful.

This was a great app for several years. Very reliable. Now it just all of a sudden stopped working and doesn't alert to critical inbound text messages. Uninstalling and re-installing doesn't fix it. So, it's now completely unreliable and useless. We're writing our own internal solution so we can trust that critical messaging works. Can't trust this one anymore.

Once was very reliable, now is very inconsistent. Missed a 3rd alarm fire last night because it didn't go off.

help/support email no longer funtional web site has gone and app has stopped working was on of the best apps i have ever used but it looks like they have packed up and gone dont waste your time downloading the app as it no longer works

Works. It would be great if alerts could disabled and enable automatically. otherwise .... it works well. updated. this use to work, but since using pixel xl2, and motoral it has not worked. I assume upgrades to android has done this in ... at least for me.

Works perfectly as expected. Really useful for time sensitive reminders. Doesn't work on Xiaomi mobiles though. 😥

Works fine, but it appears in german if the phone is configured for Icelandic.

It does work, but there are language issues (it's not in English), which you can work around, but more importantly, the timer setting doesn't work. Uninstalling after it woke me at 5 am when a text alert came in, despite me clearly putting my work hours into it - it should have stopped in the evening and not started up for some hours after that!

Hi Lars, The App does not work for Xiaomi Mi phones, Please have a look into the issue. Seems like xiaomi messages interrupts with that

does not work for mms messages. My dispatch page comes in with a voice clip that includes the who, what, and where when dispatcher calls for our fire company. It will work for text only messages, not mms. If this feature got added, I'd use it more.

Lots of german mixed in with the english text. Seems to be able to use only the K9 mail client (so not google mail).

Great app that makes my phone work like a pager - I haven't missed a call out message since installing it. unlike before when my phone bleeped its message alert once and was then silent, now it keeps going until I deal with it. However, it does help if you understand German as not all the settings are in English.

All tho some stuff is in German most of it is in English and its a grate app to use it will wake you up if you get a text form a set person I use it just in case my girl friend needs me but it can be used in so much more ways 5 stars to the people who made this one its one of the better and usefull apps

I don't own a radio and the county is installing a new system currently to issue them to everyone. So I rely on my text pages but my default Android alarm sounds are too short and not lengthy enough to wake me during the night if a call goes out but this allows me to change to one that is repeated for however long you desire, along with new sounds that are louder and much bolder to alert you. The setup layout can be confusing but once you figure it out it works perfectly. Great app.

If you have a corporate alpha paging system through SMS, you may just get a sequential number as the sender. If you have a common keyword, say "webalert" at the beginning or end of your sms message you can use this app you intercept SMS messages based on keyword and assign custom ringtones and alerts that way rather then the default ringtones and apparently override your silent mode on your phone if you are on-call for example.

App is good be even better if you could choose if you want english for english speeking users. But its an effective app that works

This has every feature I need being on call 24/7/365. It still needs some tidying up for an English speaking market. Tried all of the others and this is the best

This is great for receiving equipment alarms. No need for a separate blackberry. Companies could save a ton of money with this app.

Only just added my friends so I'll have to see if it works properly but good as can't add separate ringtone to contact on this phone like I can on my iPhone as use both.

I'm using it for Ambulance Doctor, and Mountain Rescue use. It does the job well. Suggestion: an option of having a number to call in reply, as well as a text option would be good - at the moment it's either phone or SMS to reply.

Would be nice to choose your language

Great app. Life saver in more ways then one. Some spelling and translation issues, such as German text mixed with English. No big deal Would also like more functions around word exclusion. Ie alarm at a+b , but no alarm when a+b+c. And so on .

I am using it for SMS sent by the alarm unit installed on a motorcycle and it works great. I will apreciate full english translation of the interface.

Wish it could do emails too.

System doesn't seem intuitive especially due to the help & tips being non-English (German?).
