UPDATE : I've now been using this for more than 8 years, as I started with the beta version in 2014!! Undoubtedly the best alarm on Android!! ORIGINAL : Great alarm with lots of features!! I'm a heavy sleeper, so having the option to solve a problem before dismissing it helps a LOT!! Plus, I LOVE waking up to any mp3 that's on either the SD card or internal storage. I highly recommend this app!! You won't find anything better!!
This is the best alarm app I've tried, and I've tried many. I need to set many alarms for my daily work appointments and personal reminders and this app has never let me down. The copy function is the easiest for repeat appointments. I use the wake alarm to get up and the countdown timer for cooking. You can also create different alarm profiles. Many features I haven't even tried yet. The most useful app on my phone!
I retried this app and it's fabulous! It does everything I wished from an alarm clock app! Thank you very much! The only negative point is how complicated it looks but I guess the only way to make such a complete app more user friendly would be to remove features and I don't want that! I would like to have the countdown timers on a separate section than my calendar alarms please ;)
Good app so far but with very strange settings. Calendar integration is good but took over 2 days for extra categories to sync. Only 1 alarm can be set per calendar event per profile so multiple profiles needed if, for example, you want to be reminded of a birthday a week before and on the day, or work to get up and time to leave. Notification categories are a cryptic mess, I only want notifying of my next alarm but no idea which categories to select/deselect.
Update, this is still my favorite alarm app but it's still not working properly. This alarm app does not like locked screens. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Often on locked screen alarm goes off but it doesn't unlock the screen so i scroll down to hit dismiss but it doesn't dismiss but makes me unlock the phone then turn it off. With every update I'm hoping the prblm is fixed. This app has many features and a great layout.
With the latest update, the "mute alarm if phone ringer mode isn't normal" seems to be bugged. If that's turned on and override DND mode is off, the app will not sound. If override DND is on and that mute alarm is on, it will play. The weird thing is that I don't have DND on and I always keep my notifications at a normal mode when it goes off. Fix that please, it initially made me think the app stopped sounding.
Awesome app, its free and the ads are never intrusive or frequent, it's intuitive and there's so many options to personalize your alarm. Never have I been able to get ahold of sleeping through my alarms until I downloaded this and I have the Devs to thank! It always wakes me when I need it to, even with being a heavy sleeper. It's nice to have that weight of possibly being late to work lifted lmao. I one critique and it's me being nitpicky, the graphics are a little dated, maybe an update? 👍
I'd like to start by saying I appreciate the non-invasive ads, with a steal of a price for premium. The variety is absolutely amazing, and when I made a suggestion for improvement they responded quickly and kindly to let me know it was already a feature I overlooked. Easy to organize, customize, adapt to your needs and schedule. Beyond impressed! I've never seen so much customization on an app of any kind, let alone one for something as important as getting your day started. 10 stars!
Post alarm doesn't always go off when set but randomly goes off hours later. I've had to resort to an external alarm as backup because this app can't be trusted to work properly every time. Other than that very important issue the app is good. Yes all of that is as it should be. The alarm still goes off randomly when not set. If you can't fix it then I'll find a different alarm. Dropped a star since this issue is STILL happening and now won't let me confirm I'm awake, when I didn't turn it on.
Do you always sleep after turning off your alarm? Have you tried keeping your phone away from you, setting different alarmtones, etc,etc things to wake up early morning and still cannot? Here is perfect solution for ya. You can choose a task that you have to do to dismiss or even snooze the alarm, it can be anything, like you have to go somewhere to turn it off or do math problem or write something etc, this will wake you up for sure, this is perfect. You can even customise everything of alarm.
Very useful alarm app. The best and most reliable I've come across. I like your goal to be the most customizable. A feature I'd like to see is a widget that shows a countdown to the next alarm. Something I can keep on my home screen and (without having to open the app) know how much sleep I'm going to get, if I go to bed "now."
Best alarm app out there. The heavy sleeper option for making sure you're awake is a life saver if you have the tendency to dismiss an alarm then go back to sleep for a few more minutes that more often than not turns into an hour. And my God. If you don't catch it then you aren't gonna get it to stop going off. Great alarm app. Only alarm app I have used since I found this one about 4 years ago. 10/10
I installed this last week and it worked perfectly until this morning... instead of a math challenge, I got an ad. when i closed the ad, the alarm turned off. *** update.. this was a setting issue. My fault for how I had configured the ap... I was able to fix it. Thanks for your help, support team! ****update 2: my alarm now is restarting my phone but alarm is somehow going off with an odd sound and the phone is in restart mode so I can't stop it. Can you help??
I've never had such a customizable alarm app, ever. Been using this app for over 2 years now and the only issue I would have is some random mornings it doesn't go off. But honestly, I can overlook that in favor of a good review, simply because I believe that more apps should be this feature-rich and non-intrusive with ads. I mean, you can even set exactly how many seconds your alarm will be quiet when you go to type in the alarm description (the mission to dismiss alarms) so it doesn't interrupt
I love this app, because there's a lot of various settings for the alarm. However the app is not reliable. There's been many days in a row that the alarm worked perfectly and suddenly another day it doesn't go off at all. There's also no mention of the expected alarm in the history. The autostart is enabled and battery restrictions are off, yet it doesn't work some days for some reason.
App works great except one aspect of it, which is that it will have these phantom alarms. I have 1 alarm that is turned on and every other one deleted, BUT alarms for random times throughout the day will go off. Main alarm is set for 8:30am, but I've had this app go off at 12pm, 2:30pm, and other random times. I don't know how to fix it, but this is a major problem right now.
Incredible for a heavy sleeper. I have it set to go off once, snooze 20 minutes, then unleash all hell until I take the phone into the bathroom and hold it up to the brightest light I can find in order to turn off the ungodly sound via the light detection setting in this app. I'm real grumpy in the mornings now but at least I'm on time to work. I'd give this app 50 stars if I could. It takes a bit of a learning curve to get the app settings down, but it's very worth it.
I've been using this alarm for years and it's great! However, 2 days in a row now it hasn't gone off and I've been late for work. When I open the app, there's a message about the alarm being missed and possibly due to battery optimization, but all settings haven't changed and are fine. I'm left finding a new alarm app now.
Very useful alarm application! Comes with the usual alarm functionalities but it also allows you to set which days the alarm will ring, have a one-time auto-delete alarm, and have profiles for different alarms. It also lets you see your stats. Only wish they have a functionality that allows users to have alarms ring every x amount of days, but other than that no complaints at all! Denifitely recommend
Great app!! I have multiple daily alarms. It has lots of sound options. I am a very heavy sleeper. This even has options of things like answer math problems, enter captchas before the alarm will completely stay off. I can also download the holiday calendar (can delete those that I still have to work) so I just set my alarms and forget them. LOVE IT!
I think this app has great features for an alarm app. It would've gotten 5 stars if not for a reoccurring bug. multiple times now the alarm doesn't turn off. There is no pop up screen coming up but the sound and flashlight are on. The only way to stop the alarm at that point is to restart my phone... horrible way to start your day.
This is a great app. Probably the best alarm/reminder app out there. But it has a crucial flaw - when switching devices the app does not allow manual backup and restore. I contacted support and they replied that this is a new limitation of Android. This is not true since I managed to manually backup and restore many other applications. They said the backup is done automatically by Google Drive but this was not the case for me. I urge the app to allow exporting backups and allow manual restore.
This app is great! I set up an alarm that forces me to get out of bed and scan an NFC tag on the other side of the room. Then it waits a minute and asks if I'm up. If I don't dismiss that question by clicking "Yes," the alarm goes off again. There's just one minor inconvenience that should be fixed for the app to be perfect. The button to create a new alarm is in the bottom right corner of the screen positioned directly on top of the button for turning on the alarm at the bottom of the list.
have an awful time waking up, this app helps a ton. but i HATE the new update to setting the time for alarms. whereas before i could easily flip from am to pm, and it was done on a very nice looking clock UI, now i have to manually type in every alarm time. genuinely considering finding a new app to use just because of this poor design choice that was suddenly forced upon me with no options to change back.
The play random music feature does not work anymore since about a week.. my music is in an SD card, whenever I do an alarm test nothing is played at all. I hope they can solve this issue because this was the holy grail of alarm clocks for me! I noticed that I used to be able to select /storage/emulated/0 as a folder but not anymore. I tried selecting the actual folder containing my music in the SD card but that does not work either
