Alarm Clock: Wakey

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL UI AND EFFECTIVE ALARMS. I'd pay anything for a live wallpaper of your Nightstand Mode :3 Edit: when my alarm goes off, it never opens to the "sun" screen where I can swipe it up or down to snooze or turn off the alarm. To do either of those things, I have to go to my notifications panel and snooze or dismiss it from there. It's annoying but mostly sad because I never get to see the cute sun like I used to. Edit: I changed the notification settings. I can see the sun now!:)

Does what it says, has some bells and whistles, interface is pretty simple and easy. I thought I chose a peaceful tone but it was actually scary when it came time to wake up LOL -- you can choose from audio files on your device. App opens when it rings unless you're doing something on your phone, but you can still access via notification. Some features and options only available on premium version, $5.

Can hear the alarm sound and vibration through calls and playing videos. Just want I needed! Simple but cute UI design. *Things to consider for the app: I wish you could type in the time instead of just sliding the numbers, it can take a bit to find the correct time. I also wish there was an option for vibration only too. Maybe it's in the premium, I don't know I use a free version.

Wakey usually works well for me (as long as I don't turn on battery saver overnight), but lately my alarm hasn't been going off. Not sure if it's my phone or the app. When it does work, it works great! I like the smiley sun :) More free alarm tunes would be cool. EDIT 26/4/2021: I realized that it doesn't go off when my phone is in battery saver mode, so if this was happening to you too, that's why.

I've only used the app for a little bit because I was looking for a gentle alarm (the kind that starts quiet and gets louder over time) and it seems to work perfectly. It's adorable and works well and that's really all I could ask for from it. Update 8/21: I have to retract some of that as I've experienced a bug where the alarm goes off in the middle of the night despite being set for 4 hours later. Until this is fixed, I can't recommend the app.

It's a great app, I upgraded to the premium through the free app! I would like to request two features. If you could allow us to shuffle/random play the custom music we import into the app that would be fantastic. It would help me not get used to the alarm. I wouldn't want the default alarms included. The second is the ability to set puzzles and vibration on by default. Like the ability to say you want the easiest math problem on and for the alarm to vibrate by default when you create an alarm.

The concept is super cute, the design and UI is great and its super easy to use. I like the puzzle features and the nap feature so it doesnt take too long to set up an alarn for naps. The only problem I've been having is I set an alarm at 4/7am but the alarm doesnt make a sound but the screen turns on and adds screen time but I never end up waking up because I dont feel any vibration or hear any sounds so I end up waking up late... I don't know why the alarm doesnt go off.

Great app for the most part, but 98% of all features are subscription only, so beware if you are expecting things like "power nap." The one available default tone is great, starts quietly with a gradual increase so you don't get there bejeezus scared out if you when it first goes off. The only real issue I find is that sometimes if you dismiss it before it goes off, even when your volume is off.

The app is just decent. I really like the interface and how the app looks and feels. The ringtones are nice and when it works, it's amazing. The thing is, there are just so many bugs. For example, the volume level inside the app constantly changes back to the default even after me changing it to my preferred level numerous times. It's very annoying since when it goes off, it's a lot louder than you expected. There are just so many things like this that make it very frustrating to use the app.

I loved this app for the first day i got it but it's unreliable. Despite the really cute animations and alarm sounds and how helpful it could've been, it didn't always work. The alarms just didn't sound some mornings. I used my phone's built in clock as a back up which is the only reason i wasn't late to work, but I'm disappointed! I would've loved to keep this clock instead

Lovely app. Cute graphics and easy to use. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I usually fall back to sleep! This is because the features that help you wake up ( math problems, etc... ) are premium! Would be great even if just one puzzle was available to all. So I won't be using it anymore. Found a better app with more features available to all.

Was working great for several months Now, has an 'auto-dismiss' attached to every alarm I set---meaning they alarms don't go off-- they just dismiss right away before I even know. I can't use it anymore because it won't alarm/ring! That's the whole point of the app!! I can't figure out how to turn off this setting at all. So I can't use this anymore. I need an alarm that rings!!!!!

I'm not sure about this one. It's got potential but most of the good things only come with premium. It's cute, & simple as it should be, but you only get 2 alarm tones free (the boring ones). All the cool ones are premium..Also alot of the functions don't work, for example, "flip over to snooze", yet it's is checked, & other things too. I like it, to wake up on time, yet I cant change its time; I hafta create a whole new alarm. its weird. The moon & sun are cute.. But bugs need fixed. Thx...!

I love the app because it really wakes you up! The ringtone is cute and it enables me to snooze it later. Then it will ring every 3 minutes. Also with premium, puzzle and screentap are available!!! It is really useful because you are able to wake up directly as you have to solve the puzzle or else the alarm won't stop. I love it! Thank you

I really love the design of this app. I tried it for 5 minutes and decided to purchase it which I don't regret at all. Sadly it doesn't tell me the weather forecast when closing the alarm. It says that it's not available. Guess it requires WiFi. Could there be an option for auto enabling WiFi when the alarm starts, if possible or could it at least show the last forecast information that the app had when last updated? Otherwise I really recommend the app. Worth the money!

I really loved the app in the beginning. I've used so many alarm clocks app that eventually stopped working and wakey has joined the list. I was really hopeful when it came to wakey no since the interface is really nice and the ringtones aren't bad. However, for the second time in a row the alarm I set turned off and I woke up late. This is very frustrating because now it seems I'll look for a new app. Or maybe they'll fix this bug 🤷🏽‍♀️

Fantastic app - waking up to math problems has changed my life! It really gets my mind going and keeps me awake, while I'd normally be struggling to not fall back asleep. This has really helped me to successfully break my old habits of staying up late and sleeping in. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the snooze button is still visible even if turned off in the settings... I'd much prefer to not have the temptation, I hope this gets fixed.

I started using this app after upgrading to Android 10 broke the alarm clock app I'd used for years (Timely). This app is an excellent replacement for Timely. It works similarly; fades the music in, swipe up/down to dismiss/snooze, and as a bonus the moon/sun animations are adorable & add a nice little start to the day. After a few weeks I decided to support the developers & upgrade. But, one feature I miss from Timely is when you set your alarm, it showed how much sleep you will be getting.

I think this app is a four. I say that because there's alot af really neat things. One of the cool things that differs from normal alarms is the whole overall outcome of the app. It has cute designs including a sun and a moon. Another neat thing is in the settings. You can enable a feature that states in order to snooze you have to flip your phone. One bad thing about this app it that you have to get premium to get alot of cool stuff like the weather.

Beautiful and reliable. I used Alarm Clock Plus for the past ten years until the Android 10 update made almost every alarm clock in the play store unable to set off an on screen alarm properly. Wakey uses a nice blue color behind the Android 10 pop up notification that appears to be the same size now on any alarm clock or app, but at least with the blue it makes it a bit easier to see from bed without my glasses on. User friendly interface, cute layout, and very reliable, loud alarms.

The weather for this app is clearly broken. The temperature is generally correct. However, I've been using it for 3-4 months now and it's said it's rainy every single day. Not sure what the problem is but there's only one weather provider available so I can't switch to see if that's the issue. Dev was unresponsive when emailed for suggestions.

Very reliable and aesthetic; the powernap setting is really great too, I use it for lunch breaks at work to be sure I clock back in on time. Easy to use and cute! EDIT: I noticed some reviews say the alarms don't always go off. I myself have had no troubles with this app, although the app Timely did have that problem for me. When I updated my phone a few weeks ago one of the fixes was specifically for alarms not going off, so I suspect that might be what other reviewers are having trouble with.

It's cute and works great! I especially love that if you set an alarm for AM it shows a sun and if you set it for PM then it immediately shows a moon. Never again will I accidentally set an alarm for PM instead of AM. You can also set a long fade in and specify when the alarm should turn off like 5 minutes which is great if you leave the room and forget to turn off the alarm. The default alarm sound is not actually annoying. It's wakes you gentle and is calming.

I love this alarm app, but it has one major issue for me, which has caused me to be late a few times. If my phone is restarts, i need to be sure to open the app, otherwise the alarms won't go off. It would be great if there was a way for the app to start up on boot. A recent issue where the vibrate setting turned off on its own.

I bought this app for the math challenges, as I have a terrible habit of hitting snooze a lot. Turns out the math problems can only be applied to turning the alarm off, not applied to the snooze function, so this does not help me at all. I wish the discription mentioned this before I spent $8.50 on it, which is pretty damn expensive for such a simple app. The sounds and animations are beautiful, but that is cosmetic and hardly makes up for this not being a very adaptable tool.

I ike the ringtones this app comes with and also how it gives you the option to use your own music instead as well. Being able to set default ringtone settings is really useful so I don't have to start from scratch with every new alarm. It is a good app for people who like to snooze since the puzzle option makes the alarm difficult to turn off unless your mind gets engaged. Overall I would recommend this to people who want a better alarm than the stock one your phone comes with.

I realky like this app, the sun/moon graphics are really cute. the only thing i wish i could change is the amount of snoozes you get or in this case don't get. i (think) after 3 the alarm stops going off so for frequent snoozers, 🙋, there's a tendency to not wake up on time because the alarm stops going off after that 3rd snooze. but really outside of that I've enjoyed this app.
