Poor user experience, and I am sure I'm not the only one disappointed with the experience. The app needs to be reworked and redesigned. The color template in the app makes it difficult to see texts correctly. The pink, oxblood texts aren't clearly visible unless you increase brightness level on the phone. Then there are also too many "error" messages and bugs: dropdowns won't load; difficulties uploading documents, editing the address fields and so on. Kindly rework the app to make it useable.

Stressful onboarding process. Face detection takes ages. Oh, did I add? After going through the long onboarding process, it didn't create an account for me. I was later able to sign up eventually. The app has issues. I wasn't able to see my account details immediately after signing up. I also couldn't create a dollar card. It worked after I closed the app and reopened much later. I wish the onboarding process would be better and the app improved.

Probably I'll come back to update my rating to a better one, but right now, I'm not really happy. Each time I try to update my means of Identification, the app crashes. It will allow me input the date of issuance, expiry and ID number, but immediately I snap the ID card and click on the "OK" sign, the app closes. And it's really important I update this app, cos I want to upgrade to a tier 2 or 3 as the case may be, to allow a less restricted operation of my account.

App has been working fine but after the last update, to log into my account na war as there'll always be a timeout. And when it mistakenly log in, it'll tell you that you don't have any account yet. I can't even delete a savings goal. The network of this app has been so bad and slow and it's very frustrating cos it's my favorite bank 😪 The Dark Mode of the app is so terrible. You guys should give us an option to turn off auto-switch to dark mode and not have to do it manually everytime I log in

App is a complete mess. You should have just stuck with your physical banking if there's no technicality ready for an app yet. The app is always stopping. I have uploaded my documents over five times already still there's no effective change: I still need an update to my account. It's just annoying. Even after going to the bank to complain all is to know avail. It's a waste!!!

UX is extremely poor. App gives no feedback if what you do is right or wrong. It just doesn't respond when you don't do the right stuff. OTP which expires in 5 minutes, takes about 10 minutes to arrive, making it completely useless. For a widely used app like Alat, I expected more. Do better!

The app really needs an early upgrade and customer service needs to be attended to. Signing up is difficult uploading ID is impossible bcos of error messages on every page of the app. I managed to receive otp email after 5 trials in 6 days and no response from customer service mail. Everything shows up as error. The interface is nice but it really needs an upgrade. I'll give more stars after the update works fine

Terrible experience to register!. Since a week that I've downloaded the application, I've not been able to update my address! Not able to apply for virtual dollar card which was my main reason for registering. Its always 'Oops! something went wrong' or 'the feature will soon be available'. Don't you offer dollar cards again? So many things to be done to improve this application.

I have never been able to sign up to this app ever since I downloaded it. It keeps saying my bvn is associated to another account and I have updated it multiple times already hoping it would have been fixed. In fact nothing about this bank works for me. The ussd doesn't allow me transfer to other banks and the app doesn't allow me sign up. So annoying

I have used alat debit card for all kind of transactions including purchases from both local and international stores. Suddenly, the card started misbehaving. I thought it was because it waa close to expiry. I applied for another one and the delivery was prompt. It cannot be activated on atm. The app kept saying I currently do not have a card. ALAT, if you have changed someone in your technical section, please call the person back. Your present line up is worse than auoer eagles.

Extremely disappointed by the updates on your app. I use to trust alat by wema and very proud of their services but as it stands I doubt of I can continue using your service or recommend you to anyone. Your app never logs in even with the best network, if it eventually logs in you can't do anything. This is super frustrating for a platform that was working fine. I'm very disappointed.

This updated version is not working well. Too slow and most times you are able to get anything done. Very frustrating. Then the black theme is not good at all. It is not sight friendly. Only young people can work with it. I barely see anything on the transaction receipt. Please, IMPROVE THE APP NOW

The App seems like a great one, I love the fact that your app is rich in content. But the issue I have with your app right now is how to update my contacts address. When ever I get to LGA on the app, the names of various local government area under my state (Benue State) doesn't always a appear, I think you guys needs to look into that.. i believe it's really going to be great processing most of my transactions with your app.. thanks

The app has a lot of good functions but for ages I've been waiting to receive an OTP email so I can create a pin. I've tried several times but still nothing. Honestly, I'm looking forward to see what the app has to offer. Lots of fixing needed.

This app is not reliable at all or is it the entire bank service. Always disappoints when you need it the most. Now I can't recharge or buy data and I've been debited but nothing and I need it urgently. It's just so frustrating.

All things requested for have been uploaded. USSD configured and the PIN setup with it. Setting up the PIN in the ALAT Mobile App so that I can setup the remaining items is the problem I am facing. You are not to blame. The message instructed that I should check my email but I later found out that the messages was sent to my SMS, and the 5 minutes duration have passed before I saw the message. Requesting for another OTP have been a hitch. Please help me on this. Email sent to you but no response

I have been enjoying the app, the best that there is. Though with the recent upgrade I noticed some issues like failed biometric authentication but that has been rectified as with other issues. The app is even better now with nicer interface and it is a lot easier to create an account now. Thanks jare for the improvement initiative.

I was unable to do some transactions on this app like buying of airtime, sending money to other banks and lots more what I can only do is to check balance and viewing of transactions history.....it would require for my pin when I want to do transactions and if I proceed further to create pin, it will asked me to wait while token has been sent to my Gmail and will expire in 10 seconds but I will not see anything and will the same thing. i have been experiencing this for the past few years now

I really like the app great graphics easy to navigate most importantly easy banking. though a few things seems to be needing urgent upgrade. Like, my account is debit restricted labeled tier 1 account and no information. I can't invest i need to upgrade account which i submitted my NIMC number, photos again and again till I conclude the app might be malfunctioning. I send complain to help center no reply. You can have your 5⭐ as soon as i have those issues addressed. Thank you very much.

I'm giving this app a 5 star not because I did get my way but because I want to encourage them to put things right. This app has the potential to be the best without comparison in the industry, I mean; out of the apps out there; no one comes close to it. I funded my wallet in the tens of thousand to create a virtual card, I went through the whole process and on clicking "Create Card", I get "this will be coming soon", I bent over with laughter 😂🤣. It's a great app, please finish work on it.

Now wema bank and the alat app hass been amazing, but there is a serious issue over some weeks now, i keep updating the app but the finger print does not work at all. So for some month now have not been able to use my finger print to open my phone, please rectify it if its from your end, because i can actually use my finger print yo open the phone and other apps, except wema bank app

Poor unboarding experience compared to other mobile banking apps, even the app keeps closing when you open it for the first time. OTP for pin creation not coming fort. So much issues with this app. I have not even started using it just the registration and unboarding process alone is already pushing me away. Much like traditional banking no wonder it own by a bank self. You guys should go and work on your technical and software issues and leave marketing alone.

I will not rate this app more than 2 stars. Imagine app can't fetch infory on the card section? The only thing it does is ops error occured fetching your card control. Imagine. Card control not working! App even saying I don't have any card yet that I should apply for one. Just imagine? When the one I have, is yet to be active due to control management error it displays all the time.

Make the app easy for registration! It closes by itself when I input my contact details...and it keeps showing errors for almost everything I click.... I'm unhappy because I'd already created an account but to finish it, is the problem now...I can't proceed to bank account creation or card request without updating my contact information! A very trustworthy app ever when dealing with transactions. It's make me feel comfortable even when my transactions is having network problem. One of the best app indeed. But the only error I could sense is that, when I had an issue of transferring money mistakenly to another bank account and i contact wema customer care on Facebook, I actually gave them every details they asked for but till then, they keep on saying they are waiting for responding from the other bank. So painful for me 😣

Seriouly speaking, i have no good rate for this app, sorry to say!! I have been trying to fix up my app for some times now, when it get to snapping my signature, suddenly it will stop working. I tried to upgrade the app over and over again, still the same. This is really frustrating. I wish u could find solution to this issue.cos It really messing us up sincerly speaking. Thanks
