Frustrated. Tried to subscribe, kept getting error message. Also, having a Facebook link has put me off using it. Don't need it on screen. Conclusion uninstall. Shame.

love the app except it seems to drag when i scroll or even pause for several second. After i use for few minutes i get a message that APP is not responding and it shuts down.Annoying. Content is great but using APP can be frustrating to use. I think i will uninstall and try different APP. if it were not for this I'd give it a 5 star.

Exellent insight to the divine word. Have enjoyed this commentary for many years and greatful to have it on my Chromebook.

This is the Great app, informative, with wonderful helpful commentary, resourceful, powerful and Bible on Voice/Audio, that helps one to be awakened even when you are asleep. It is so useful to me even in my sermons. It makes preaching easy. So... So grateful for having the app. May the Lord richly bless you more and more.

I really like the commentary. It fully explains each scripture so you can get a good understanding of it. The only problem is that the app shuts down constantly or you can't open it at all, because it shuts down before it will open. So I don't use it anymore.

Simple and more details than I expected I'm having a great time with it.

The latest update to android to 12.0 has broken this app and it will not even start. Can we get this fixed

I love the app except when I am moving down the page,for instance to the next verse, it will "jump" to the next chapter without warning!!!!!! I then have to go back to the chapter I was on and again try to move down to the verse I wanted. ALOT OF Wasted time

I love Barnes' commentary and am excited that his notes are now in an app I can use on my phone, but periodically, while I'm reading his notes, it will jump to the next chapter or the previous chapter, and it takes a while to get back to where I was reading.

Very helpful Commentary. Search functionality in getting to a verse within each chapter can certainly be improved. Suggestion: emulate the search functionality of You Bible.

Content is good. Layout and functionality need to be improved. Love access to the writings of this scholar but the ads are obstructive and disheartening. Please allow for a pay option. What a waste of such knowledge by the vulgar interruptions

I love the app for providing options for the study of the bible whereby a reader could switch to reading the Bible without notes or both.

I use these notes because it is good to have a detailed explanation on scripture. Barnes Notes have a lot of research and are full of in-depth information. There is more info based on the language of the passage and less personal opinion.

Unusable. It keeps flipping to me he previous chapter while I'm trying to read. Might be a bug in the intrusive ads.

Beautiful Application. However, theres a need to have a drop down for referenced Bible portion. if this could be improved, it would be a perfect App.

Inspirational app. The only fault is that the screen is too sensitive to swipe sideways to the previous or next chapter

Why is this free is all I can say!.... that's what I thought at first then I quickly understood they bombard you with ads and each on causes you to lose your place in the reading so it's a constant battle to follow along with a stream of thought. Stupid

This app is sweet, enjoyable and packed with great insights through the holy spirit of albert barnes knowledge of the bible. It jumps to previous or next chapters on its own. Developers should help work on it.

barnes as always been deeply intelectual and spiritual.....the only problem i expirienced so far is that as you scroll down while reading another page authomatically opens or is revealed to you. please the page one is readimg needs to be steadied to enrich and prevent interference with the smooth reading expirience

Its a great Bible commentary. Very easy to use. I like the outline of each passage. Every studrnt of the Bible should use Barnes Commentary.

When looking up a verse, say verse 65 of the chapter, and scrolling up or I now want to see the commentary, it takes me back to verse 1 and I have to scroll back to verse 65 which takes forever if there is commentary involved. I can't find a tutorial on details of how to prevent this from occurring or someone to contact. I continue to use the app, but not pleased about how it works. Terrie

Thankyou. I can actually understand what im reading in this century's english without deciphering the precious old english. The commentry as well and also accurate and knowledgable ... according to refferences. :)

Love this app so far. Just beginning to learn navigation but seems great. Clear and concise.
