Album Art Downloader

One of the better album cover grabbers. It's quick and accurate and also gives you several options on most requests. The only problem I have found , so far, is that I grabbed some of the art I have in my photo gallery and applied them to several albums and I haven't been able to remove the art from the list, even though I was able to receive and pick the correct albums on request. I'm hoping that this is only a 'presentation' glitch in the Album Art app and isn't followed through elsewhere.

I'm a little baffled by this app. It shows a list of albums on my phone, and allows me to select the cover art for each from a range of options. However, once I've clicked [Change] to select the cover art, it doesn't actually *do* anything. The only way out of that screen is to select [Back], at which point the album still has no cover art. I just couldn't find a way to get it to *save* the cover art. Uninstalled.

Does what it says, for the most part. There were no instructions, so I just guessed at what to do. There were several albums that had my personal pictures attached for some reason, and although I was able to select the correct album art, it didn't stick. Most of the album art I chose did transfer over to my music player, but not all. It would be nice to get the bugs fixed, and instructions would be a good addition.

ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS! Finds the wrong covers on most, and also changes the song tags, including song titles! So glad Rocket Player upgraded their album art grabber. It found all but one album cover, and I have a lot of music on my device. I thought this app could get it right, unlike others I tried, but I am again disappointed. Keep trying, developers.

Most of the album art loads easily. Some gospel albums had to be loaded manually, but still very easily. Some private family labels couldn't be found at all. I should be able to dig out my album cover, take a picture, and use that since the app supports using jpg's on your phone. Still very useful even though the times it misses have bizarre album covers suggested.

Pros, 1. Works like a breeze. Had 2 songs that lacked an album cover (was triggered by that) but, the app found the songs it's respective album covers (same as that on Spotify) at a mere press~ 2. Able to upload/choose your own photo as your album art, allows you to crop at your freewill like how it should. Cons, 1. Only able to search by Artist and/or Album name. Can't search w song's name. BUT! There's a filter option to filter by songs w/o album covers. Didnt try that, not sure if it works.

so far so good. its finding all the art. I do wish that you could sort by artist, song or FOLDER. perhaps. for some reason the app is picking up some of my personal pictures but when I look at the song itself the right picture is there. adds do pop up but that is the give and take. ideal if we could edit tags

The app was great when I first downloaded it, I was able to get the artwork for every album I have that didn't properly transfer from my PC. However, ever since a recent Android update for my Galaxy S10+, all of the artwork I got with this app disappeared, and the app is no longer save artwork. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

It's hard to write a review right now because as great as this app was, it doesn't seem to work on Android 10 at all, and all the album art I had is now gone. Unsure if it'll come back automatically with an update or not. If they update this to work with Android 10 it would be a solid 5 stars. If you don't have Android 10 and don't plan on getting it soon, this app will be perfect for you as is.

Very useful app. Would give 5 stars if there was some quality information such as resolution rather than by having to select each one in turn. Update 06.02.20 - for some reason the app now initially looks at my own gallery first and despite then choosing the correct cover, does not apply that to the album. Using Samsung Music app on a Note 9. Not sure if this is due to phone or app update, but now most of my music has no art. Frustrating!

It actually works, sure after selecting your own particular album art it does take a while to actually change the original album's picture. I don't know why but the image you choose should show on your music app eventually. If worst comes to worst I normally restart my phone or close and reopen the app. It works!!

Absolutely amazing - been looking for something like this for ages and it works really well. It doesn't find everything, but it easily found 95% of my missing artwork over hundreds of albums and just slapped them right onto the MP3 files on the SD card where I keep my music. Super easy to use.

Yes, like others have said, I upgraded my phone to Android 10 and the app stopped working. It was a very useful app when it worked. Other music players and album art apps seem to have the same problem, so it may be related to some new folder access protection added in the new Android version.

Excellent, does exactly what it should. Only seems to struggle with multi disc compilation albums. As of the Android 10 update on a Samsung S10 the app finds the covers but doesn't apply them so plenty grey squares for album art in the Samsung music player. Assuming has something to do with said update, shame really as it did work great

quite a good app. can download most album art even a lot of rare ones but not super rare ones. only problem is on my Samsung S9 it uses photo from my gallery for the art already there instead of the the real ones in the music app but no problem as it did not change it in the music app. I could pick a album art from the list or download one from internet and then add it myself with this app. thanks

Really easy to use. Finds your cover art without fuss.....well that was how it started. Then grey tiles reappeared and the app started picking up random images.from my pictures folders. It finds the album art still, but there seems no way of making it stick. Please fix!

Junk - wouldn't run without access to my photos, updated album covers with my photos, could select correct cover, but would not update so Tool 10,000 Days was a pic of a co-worker no matter how many times or different album covers were chosen. My HTC M9 did this automatically using the music database so I'm not sure why an app designed to do this doesn't work properly.

So easy to use and for the most part, the first cover suggested is the correct one. I had downloaded an app for album art prior to this onr and it was too complicated. I'm glad I found this one. A few albums had no suggestions so it's not perfect.

Easy to use. Fast and simple, allows you to choose the photo you want to use after it quickly finds recommendations (all of which have been accurate so far). I recommend this for anyone looking to find the cover art for their music on their phone. I have a Samsung J7 and it's working faster than any other process that I looked up.

Only app that I have found that applies art accurately from the internet and works amazing; however, I just upgraded my Samsung Galaxy J7 to an A11 and now it won't apply any album art and for some reason takes my gallery photos and puts them as album covers without my consent? I cannot change any of them. I am disappointed. I'd give 5 stars for the functionality prior to this, but this is not cutting it.

i overall really like this app. Useful ans easy to use. I like the search functions, but something i do desire for the app would a bit more of a robust searching/filtering system. being able to only filter for albums or artists starting with specific letters and sorting by artist rather than album name.

App finds correct artwork quickly with little to no input from the user. After selecting the desired artwork for a particular album, the CoverGrabber app displays it as a random picture from my phone, HOWEVER, the album artwork appears correctly in the music player app.

This app use to work really well. It use to change my album art easily straight away, but now it won't do anything. It'll show on the app the imahe has changed but the actual image in the song hasn't changed at all. I don't know what happened. It's useless now. Please fix this, I use to love this app and I use to recommend it to people.

I love this app! This is the only app I've found that actually has almost all the artwork for my albums. There are several albums that it doesn't have artwork for, but they're by fairly obscure artists, so I'm not unhappy. If Play Store had rating levels 1 to 10, I would definitely rate this app a 9.5. Would highly recommend!

This app used to be amazing, now it doesn't work. I can find the cover art but it won't save it to the album, its a shame. I know its free, but would be willing to pay for each cover if it worked, now I'm stuck with blank album covers for any cds I didn't buy directly from amazon or Google music.

Doesn't work with Android 10, when I go to apply an album artwork it simply does not save. Please update to fix this issue! Before this it was 5* all the way, and will be again once the app is updated.
