Album / Cover Art Finder

I recently installed this and it seems to be a great app! Only thing is, I have around 600 songs, and they aren't sorted into albums, which is a pain. Please add a feature so you can do it a lot quicker, maybe you could just load all of the songs' suggested album covers (I don't mind how long it takes) and lay them into a long list, which the user can then click the album cover they want on each song, without having to go in and out individually on each one.It would be a lotmore efficient,thanks

Edit: latest update isn't perfect. I wish it was a little more accurate and I wouldn't have to select the correct album 3rd or more down the list, but all in all it works. For some reason the app works on my tablet with the music on the SD card, but on my phone I get an error stating that I can't edit the file while it's on the SD card. I would need to move it to internal storage. Not only would that be a klunky process.

Soooo near and yet so far. A lot of work has gone into this app. It definitely works better than most, the only one it can't compete with is the N7 player, which is a music player which finds all the cover art, but it can only be used in its own app, that fails in playing most formats. I like the ability that it has to search for covers and then give the user the option to assign the cover to the relevant file in another program. However it doesn't find most of the covers like Tubular bells, Pink Floyd and the Beatles. Shame really.

This app is so far the only one that works. Though it doesn't add covers to all the songs, it does with 90% of them. However I've been experiencing a lot of crashes when editing single songs or editing one song within an album. The worst is when entire albums or single songs are being damaged and unusable by trying to put add a cover

Usable, barely. Painfully slow if you're doing more than a few albums. Fails to detect many albums. Frequently fails to guess the correct album. Does not seem to search by artist name, so albums with similar names (like "Greatest Hits" by Neil Young and "Greatest Hits" by The Offspring) are almost never correctly identified. "New" SD card feature is tedious to use, but nice to have. I used to use Album Art Grabber, and that was great, but it seems to have been ruined by a recent Android update.

Update 3-21-2020 Like others have mentioned this app doesn't make any sense anymore. The search just brings up a Google search. The previous version worked great until Android 10. Update 3-16-2020 Getting closer. Now the app opens, but crashes when you attempt to select any search option. Running on a stock Google Pixel 3, Android version 10. The app won't even open. Was hoping that the latest update would work with Android 10, but not the case.

I tried 5 of the top results and this was by far the best. A really clean UI , easy to use interface , being able to apply cover art to all songs withing an album (which the apps I used didn't offer) and being able to edit song meta data made this app as painless as possible which is really important when you are trying to apply art to around 50 albums. The only problem was it crashed 5 times but clearing it and opening it again fixed this issue.

Thanks for the update, shame it's not automatic, going through all my albums 1 by 1 is tedious, not very accurate on the artwork, so many left as blank as no artwork found. After reviewing what was downloaded many of the artworks were allocated to the wrong album, so all time was wasted. Wish it was supported again by OEM software

Its a good app . You can get the album art of the songs if its availae and update them. So that it appears in your music player. You need to do little tweakings in the names of the title, album name so that the actual album art you are looking for loads up and you can update it. Thanks to the developers for creating such app.

Ok so I download the app again. No setting to keep the artwork permanent. No phone or SD card option. Now you find the artwork for the album and still have to add the artwork to every individual song. Sounds pointless to me. After a few minutes this app crashes once again...I've been using this app since 2014 or 2015 maybe with no issues until this year. Oh well I guess all good things must come to a end. (I have 2 phones Samsung Galaxy s7 and samsung Galaxy j7 perx both have exact same issues)

I like this app, but there is a major problem, when I imported my collection of 3000+ songs to my phone this app kept crashing after opening. So I have to delete all those folders. Seems like this app has a problem with big numbers. Apart from this I would have absolutely rated it 5 stars. Such an amazing app.

It's perfect grabbing the album cover. But after finding only one it closes and takes a literal minute to initiate when I open the app. It has great potential.

Still does not work in Android U10 on a Samsung S9+ Ok I already have version 2.1 installed and it still does not work! I have uninstalled and reinstalled to make sure and the app only finds 42 albums of the 146 in the folder internal/music/. Permission to internal storage and SD storage has been granted at install. Automatic update finds no matching Album art and all 42 albums it can find have to be individually searched and matched.

Finds the album art, and says it successfully applied it, but it never actually updates the art. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no difference. Ads are really annoying as well, full screen ads whenever you try to update, in addition to bottom of the screen ads.

While the app technically works, it unfortunately will only embed the artwork within each MP3. A better, space-saving option is to download the album artwork to the folder itself which your music player can pull to display. Otherwise, a 15 song album is ~3mb larger bc you are downloading & storing the picture 15 times instead of 1.

Update 4/10 Still doesn't work! Keeps crashing ever since the latest version was released on 3/13. The old version was much better and never had this issue. I have a Samsung Galaxy s7. I have email you my system log several times. Since you have released the new version.

It works, mostly. It doesn't recognize my FLAC or WAV files, but all the mp3 files it recognizes it makes it very easy to add cover art to them. So, when it works, it works well. If it works. Worth trying anyways.

The app does what it says. Previously I used album art grabber! But this application by far is better! Easy to use and fast interface with beautiful design. Almost found all my library covers! Plus the art covers are surprisingly clearer than most of same applications.

It was great. Went through hundreds of my songs in a quick motion unlike I did before this app. But now it isn't working. I can find the song, tap on the album and it shows that it's changed, but it isn't. Really sad. I loved this app.

Waste of time. Doesn't identify music albums on phone and even if it finds the artwork, it isn't always uploaded. Above all, the ads are damned annoying and far too frequent. Uninstalling.

Convenient app, but horribly glitchy. After using it I have a handful of mislabeled and duplicated songs. Hopefully they will come up with fixes in the future, but in the meantime I'd suggest avoiding this app. For reference my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.

Doesn't fine all albums covers and gets them wrong at times, ever if the tags are correct and even if it shows the correct one. The album cover is correct, but the song one is wrong and can't be fixed.
