Works quite well, but doesn't use locale on device (imperial vs metric, etc). Fairly easy to use, so it may be used on a regular basis (people are lazy). Could use some more fuzzy logic or AI in the future versions. Good start, but can go a really long way.
EDIT: Buggy behavior seems to be fixed. Features working. Thanks, developer! OLD REVIEW: Newest update makes the app much harder to use. Can't select things (ads in the way and unscrollable). Features removed (long-press to Drink Again). Help is outdated (long press on Add no longer does anything). If it hadn't updated then it would've been 5-stars. Appreciate the developer being active and reaching out.
Not the best app... The user interface could have been better, calendar week should be starting on Monday as it does in the majority of the modern world, but most of all - it's just not doing the math correctly! E.g. if I had 5 units on one day and 7 on another on the same week, it would show a random weekly grand total of 6 or so which makes the app effectively useless.. Please can you fix it? Tried using "Help" function but it crashes the app.....
very good. switching from alcodroid because the developer stopped updating. transferring my existing years of data was just in seconds without loosing any data. I wish this app has better looking widgets with more funtions. thanks
It looks good and I'd like to use but I have a problem setting my drink names in and its very irritating . Just seems really buggy when try to do a present drink name, keeps adding lots of letters on, I have no idea why. The drink name I enter just lands up being 10+ letters long and nothing like it's suppose to be.
excellent app, runs flawlessy on sony xperia z2. seems to be fairly accurate and something everyone should have on their phone, especially if you drive a vehicle. i think run for another week and if fine will pay to have ads removed. the ads are minimal by the way on free version.
Height, weight, gender and time you start and time you stop drinking good for UK and USA units of measurement. And a nice warning notification.. Now The bad its a janky on the gui if your tipsy it could be a tad confusing to navigate. Other Than that, my favorite BAC by FAR! I'd pay for a new theme update!
Does not allow for country time/day change, so unable to enter drinks for 9 September. Would have to live a day behind, being in South Africa. Also doesn't allow for change of date format to dd/mm/yyyy, as used in SA. Otherwise the features are pretty good.
App worked great and very useful for a few weeks until I had a drinking session going over midnight. It does not link days for BAC and all bits crossing over from midnight, or no clear way of how to link them over.
Just downloaded the app, so haven't used it much yet, but wanted to say kudos to including a how to/info walk through at the very beginning. Too many apps don't have this nowdays. 👍🏻
Unexpected blaring sound, when some full screen ads flash up. The rest of my other (many) apps don't. It's probably better not to request a rating so early, either.
I like it except for two things: 1. I'm required to enter the cost of each drink. It's not what I want in this app - should be optional. It won't allow me to enter 0. What if I didn't buy the drink? 2.I'm required to enter the Energy (kcal)?? I have no idea what this is and can find no explanation for it.
Really well made app. Seems complicated at first but once you go into the settings and get everything set to what you want it's easy to use.
This app is a little judgmental about my consumption. Plus side, pretty accurate BAC scale and graphs.
All the units are metric, I am very familiar with conversion factors, but I don't need to figure out my ml to oz. And cm to inches every time I use this app, or go to quick check a friend who may not have it.
Very handy app, easy to use and understand. Keeps a running tally of your BAC in your notifications. Recommended.
Hare this app.... Unless you add what you drink there and then you Can't add it later on.... So if you don't have your phone on you when you're drinking but keep note of your drinks you can't add them to the app afterwards
Based on research, the app seems to be fairly accurate. I would recommend using 0.016% as a baseline BAC metabolism value to further accuracy (based on research and professional inquiry). The best part of this app is that it's a very easy, intuitive way to hold myself honest and accountable as I straighten out and modify my (admittedly poor) habits. The second best part of this app is that the ads are not at all intrusive. I will be paying for this app at the first available opportunity.
