Tactical combat
Combat is based on positioning and, above all else, spells. There's a broad range of spells available and learning how to use each of them efficiently is key to successful battlemagery.
Story mode
Aldarix is captured and must defend the kingdom against the mysterious Devigon! This mode consists of 50 handcrafted levels.
Survival Mode
A challenging roguelike mode where levels are randomly generated and death is permanent. Survival Mode is available by an in-app purchase.

It felt like I was having to replay levels not because I was bad, but because I was waiting for a beatable random layout. Fireball was the only really useful spell. Ball lightning was the worst, since 95% of all shots you can make with it will hit you, often multiple times. Swipe controls were inconsistent, sometimes requiring multiple swipes to register. I do appreciate the lack of ads, but the game is just too frustrating for the wrong reasons.
Excellent. Very fun, very challenging, lots of gameplay. Actually has a story. Touch controls could be improved. Random monster placement means some levels can't be beaten without restarting. Bit of a learning curve. Worth downloading!
OK game. Arrow keys so tiny. This is roguelike but the environment seems more like a puzzle strategy RPG. Enemy types & positions and potion types & positions are randomized each replay, so you are mostly gonna rely on luck no matter how good you are. Funny ending.
Well-crafted gameplay, a wide variety of truly different modes, and minimalist but charming art and story. A must-play tactical strategy game. p.s. Memorization Mode freezes after level 31, whether before or after victory.
interesting story, unique skill, It's had potential to be good game but no, - its don't have skip turn, no inventory, pick potion = use it, no upgradeable stats character. Forgot to mention , control too small to use dpad & touch control just for movement
I love turn-based roguelikes and this one is excellent! Cute pixel art, clever spell-casting gameplay, tiny install size and no ads! It's charming and fun and well worth the download. Thanks dev, great work!
I like the simplicity of this battle. The puzzle is good, although it also depend a lot on the RNG. Losing won't make me frustrated.
This game is legit. When there's an enemy type that knocks you back a space, you don't get knocked back into a potion if that space contains a potion.
Fun and tactical but it is not freindly to those playing for the first time. Way to difficult in the early levels.
We definitely need more roguelikes like this. The game would be even better if you add more characters with their own spells :)

The story mode is more of a roguelitish rpg, but don't let that bother you. This is a challenging and pleasantly unforgiving tactical game. Definitely worth a try for any fan of the roguelike genre. Only thing that sometimes feels a tad unbalanced is the random placement of enemies in the story mode. I understand why this game mechanic choice has been made, but sometimes it seems to make (near-)unbeatable level configurations. It's also great that the game is free & without ads.
