She can do all the basics right out of the box (factual look ups, conversions of units), as soon as you sign in. After that, go to http://alexa.amazon.com/ or use the Alexa Companion app to add Alexa skills that you can also access.
This initial version has some limitations, you will have to enable always-on from the launch screen, but the app will be immediately available from the persistent notification (which you can choose to disable).
For Android TV, this app has only been tested to work on an nVidia Shield TV. It does not currently work on the Nexus Player.

Great app. A few things could make it better. When using on my watch, if I forget to close it, it stays open and drains the watch battery quite quickly. Any way to put a 30 second or so time limit then auto exit? Unchecking the "Stay open after interaction" doesn't appear to work.
I am no longer just "Nick" with this on my Zenwatch 2. I feel like Jean-Luc Picard. It works really well, there's surprisingly little delay from when you touch the face and speak to Alexa doing my bidding Now if only this could be a replicator as well... I'd really be in the future. "Alexa, cookies and cream ice cream and a huge coffee"..... ...... One day..... Anyway if want your watch to have Alexa on it. Boom here you go. Super easy to install as well. All I did was, download to my phone, then to my watch. Set up on my phone, then opened it on my watch. No idea if it is supposed to be done the following way, but it works for me...... I have the mic disabled in the app on my pixel, so that won't pick up what I'm saying, just the watch.
Terrible on a smartwatch! Fails to even play audio too often, slow, I'd rather not waste my precious storage! But, when it works, it does work... though slowly.
Good effort, however, the wake word/trigger doesn't work and reminders aren't supported. It would be better if it worked with the alexa phone app so you could integrate reminders.
Works like a charm! ** Edit: tried to reinstall but app is stuck on download pending on permission verification. No way to move forward, only the cancel button is visible. TicWatch Pro 4G.
It works well on android. The wake word works and it answers fast. On my Tickwarch with wear OS tho the wake word doesn't work, but when i go manually into the app, it works! Im trying to figure out how to go in the app setting on wear OS.
App does not respond to wake words. If I manually open and close the app it will respond to wake words, but is very slow to respond or do anything.
Do not install. I did and no matter how far or close my phone is to my mouth, I can not get it to hear me say Alexa so it can complete my commands. But my echo dots in the house are picking up my voice so why doesnt the phone? I'm going back to google assistant because it can hear my commands way better and I dont have to click on the google assistant app to start a command.
Worst of all Alexa apps...again another disappointing Alexa app..I don't understand why developers could not make a complete Alexa integration app..all Alexa apps have this microphone issue...one needs to yell for Alexa to atleast respond..people don't waste your time and data on downloading tis.. I would recommend google assistant which is far superior in all aspects... Only negativity abt google assistant is it doesn't wake devices.
Works much faster than the Alexa app. Great when you don't want to yell across the room and don't want to stand on front of your light looking stupid waiting for the Alexa app to load.
Love this App but not working on new Montblanc Summit 2 Qualcomm 3100. Microphone closes immediately not allowing voice input. Works great on watches with Qualcomm 2100👏
Doesn't work on my s6 galaxy. I try to sign into my Amazon account with the app then the screen goes white and that's about it. Never got any further. Therefore can only leave 1 star because could never use it
does not work well enough to be practical, harldy ever responds, slow responses when it does respond, phone has to be unlocked for it to work... pointless if i still have to push buttons
Soooo much faster than Google Assistant on my LG Sport Watch! Zero problems so far (just installed it). Thanks for a great App :)
Doesn't work. Authorisation screen will not fit on the phone screen so can't authorise amazon account. No response from developers.
I thought I'd be able to actually use Alexa without having to push buttons or make additional commands I was wrong
Works as advertised - Nicely made and no issues at all getting Alexa working on a TicWatch Pro 2020.
Great back up for when Alexa devices are off line, or to use when you come home at night.
Excellent app. Alexa is very smart. Its a good concept of artificial intelligence.
Something is wrong with Alexa she's not working properly something is wrong with it some of the application I'm not away with it it's me or Alexa
Dont install this app its worst app ever When i say hey alexa its not opening and its not play music stories and all Its only talk to u when u touch that notification worst app ever
used to work really well on my older phone but now I have a newer one plus and it stopped working

new wear os update on my watch has made this app unusable, cant authenticate my Amazon account.
It's having microphone issues with my phone when the microphone is working properly

Pointless. Installed fine on my TicWatch Pro 3. My purpose for downloading was to be able to have Alexa play certain music for me while I was at the gym without having to pull my phone out of my pocket. But this app doesn't allow Alexa to play any music or radio stations. But it's fine if you want to ask the weather forecast. :(
