Good OBD-2 app for a 2011 Dodge Avenger 3.6L. PROS: Using an OBDLink SX, this app has many programmable options that can be turned on/off or changed. Just be careful changing those options. CONS: 1) To see what the programmable option(s) default setting(s) is/are before changing. 2) The app shows no indicator of the option(s) being changed. Sweating bullets until it shows "FINISHED". Would make this app much better if the CONS were fixed and implemented. Thanks!Need more updates please!
Maaaan, bought this app months ago to program two new key fobs on my Ram, but didnt have an android device that worked right. Fixed that today. Once I pulled the PIN with the pin puller app, it only took about 5 minutes to have two extra fully functioning key fobs. That alone is worth the price of the app. But now i cant wait to dive into all the other things i can do with it. Thank you thank you thank you!
This app works BEAUTIFULLY with my Ram 1500!!! I cannot express how much of a lifesaver (and HUGE money-saver) this app is for me! Its a Godsend; I'm thankful I don't need to visit the dealership for every little CanBus issue I need to resolve. Saves me alot of time, and money...TONS!!! I've been using this app for the last two years, and I've read some of the reviews in this post, and they need to read better. Most powerful app in my arsenal...thank you for this incredible piece of work!!!
Awesome App - I've used for 2 years now. I've made several changes to my Ram 2500, programmed extra keys, speedo adjustment after putting on larger tires/wheels, tpms parameters, lights, locks. Everything without issue. Recently I tried to program a key on a Grand Cherokee (push start proximity key) and ran into a problem. Emailed support and had the issue resolved right away and was able to program it. Great app and great support, 5 stars all the way.
Complete waste of money, come to find out if you have a Ram within certain model years you can NOT use this to manipulate settings in your body computer without shelling out more cash to bypass security and other factory locks. Wish I had known that prior to wasting 50 hard earned dollars. Useless app that I'll never ever use again.
Great app. Simple to use once you get used to the menu layout and lots of online support. Definately worth getting if you have a supported vehicle.
Best App for anyone that wants the power of the dealership software capabilities. Make sure your vehicle is on the list of vehicles and manufacturers that AlfaOBD can sync with. For example you can get HUGE tires and instead of going to a dealer or aftermarket shop, to get the speedometer and everything on point with the new tire size. As well as changing certain restraints your vehicle came stock with. No point in using the free version besides making sure your car is on the list.
BE SURE TO BACK UP EVERYTHING YOU CAN BEFORE YOU POKE AROUND WHILE CONNECTED TO YOUR CAR! Now that that is out of the way, it can not be stressed enough. One wrong move can brick the computers in your car. Other than that this is a phenomenal app that gives you dealer level tools with dodge/crystler/fiat autogroup. 10/10 has saved me hundreds of dollars going to the dealer to change perameters! I hope this app never goes away as it is a super powerful tool for the home DIYer!
$50 for a Cummins Actuator calibration... with ease. Of course, there's so much more to be said, but I'm just speechless right now. Talk about "gettin' my money's worth". Thanks for this incredibly useful App
Needs alot of work!!! I wish I could get my money back. I have a 2019 ram and this app does nothing for it๐. If something changes I will update this.
Have been using this for almost a year with an MX+. Does most of the things I need it to do. I take into consideration that I am using an older phone (Note 9).
I had been looking at this to program a few features for my RAM truck. Ended up buying it so I could program a new key for the RAM. Works great with no issues. Saved me some money with not needing to go to the dealer!
Money well spent! I've been looking for something like this to change up my Ram. Cleared that annoying "Head lamp low beam out" cause of the LEDs and the TPMS icon that wouldn't go away cause of the lift I had done to it and the off-road terrain tires I installed.
Bought the app. Bought the bypass for 1500 5th gen ram. Cannot connect to any body module option. Can only connect to my bluedriver and that's where the app stops. I've begun the emails. So far nothing. The app seems to struggle to do anything but connect to obd scan tool
Work ok for Lancia Delta 3 - 1.9 twin turbo multijet, but with WiFi OBD2 only, there is an issue when using Bluetooth OBD2!
No one paid me to leave this review this is my honest opinion I bought this app to help save money on a proximity sensor programming for my 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 EcoDiesel it worked flawlessly it gave me the pin number inside of the truck from the computer and I entered it in the Box and pressed yes and then press unlock button on the new remote done 5 minutes max $175 savings , I would suggest to any newcomer one change at a time. PS don't get lost in the program:-)
Very nice app, wish there were more changeable settings for Jeep Gladiator. I used this on my Ram truck also!
Works great, enjoy having control over specific features for my truck. I do wish there were better instructions. Where to find key AlfaOBD features for my truck. To include, all app generated lists need be sorted in alphabetical order. Using the app, there's so many choices, would be easier in alphabetical. Yes, I'd recommend this to those that know what they are doing.
Using this with a 2014 Ram 1500 Seriously cool but needs a way to back up your original settings easily. In fact it should be automatic for the first time you run the app with any given vehicle. There should also be a way to reset it all back to those factory settings. Would make me feel FAR safer using the app to mess with settings that seem straight forward but can end up having negative results. Guides for the popular options, ie led lights, adding things etc
Great so far (2018 Ram 1500). So this has saved me a lot of dealer hassle so far. I have activated the alarm, turned off seatbelt chime, activated remote start, fix the fog lights turning of when highbeams on, and changed to LED headlights all thanks to this app. I ordered some new key fobs that this app is supposed to be able to program so hope that works. So far its been great.
I love this, so easy to use on my 2015 Ram 1500. Unlocked so many things!!!
Great app. Adding options to my RAM 1500 has never been easier.
It was a great tool til it updated on me today now won't connect to my obdlink mx+. I'm using a Samsung galaxy note 10+ and again worked great til this last update. Tried Uninstalling and reinstalled still not working
I have some problem in connecting with ELM327 BLUE, Bluetooth based. I've got allert messages "verify that key is in MAR and check wiring " I don't know how to do. If anyone has same problem with me, please let me know how to get connection.
Great tool, but can be hard to use as its really a professional level tool that can change almost any parameter of an FCA or Stellantas vehicle with the proper security bypass cable.
Used for my 2019 RAM 1500 Classic to add and activate fog light, tow mirrors with turn signals and approach light and programmed fob keys. Thank you.
This is a great app for making little tweaks to your vehicle that aren't usually available to the end user. The UI is not the most intuitive, but it does what it is supposed to very well. I was able to successfully make several changes to my Ram with a cheap ELM327 adapter.
Has not worked for any of the features I got it for, on a LX model Vehicle. So for my use case it was a total loss, sadly. DiagFCA can in fact accommodate all those, some of the features I was after are listed don't work, some are not listed. Mileage Correction: NA TMPS Delete: Doesn't work Key Programming: Doesn't work Changing some less important Features: did work, not why I bought it. Options seem good for newer vehicles, and on YT videos seem to work there. YMMV.
