Make sure you have a compatible OBD interface. For the list of supported OBD interfaces see www.alfaobd.com.
NOTE: If AlfaOBD can not connect to a car ECU with the message "Interface reports NO DATA" or "Interface reports CAN ERROR" it most probably means your interface is not compatible or defective.

AlfaOBD features include:
- native support of Electronic control units used in Fiat group cars. Native support differs AlfaOBD from many other diagnostic applications providing only limited generic OBDII support of Fiat group cars.
- monitoring various dynamic parameters of engine, gearbox, ABS, climate control ECUs and graphical presentation as plots
- reading of static data: ECU identification, system status, fault codes with probable causes and environment information where applicable
- clearing of fault codes
- (Full version only) active diagnostics and configuration procedures for various equipment controlled by engine, gearbox, body computer, climate control, ABS, airbag, code control and other ECUs
- (Full version only) electronic key and RF remote control programming
AlfaOBD supports ELM327 and OBDKey Bluetooth interfaces on all Bluetooth-enabled Android devices and ELM327/OBDKey WLAN interfaces on rooted devices only. For details of configuration of connection to interface and car see application help.
Application available in Czech, English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, and Spanish. Languages are selectable via Setting.
The limitations of the demo version are:
- Application run time limit of 15 minutes. Application reverts back to the first screen after 15 minutes of connection to a control unit.
- No active diagnostic procedures available
- The number of scanned gauges is limited by four
- The number of monitored parameters is limited by fourAll other features are operational. No time limit is imposed on the application.
NOTE: If plots are not updated, turn "Force GPU rendering" off in "Settings"->"Developer Option".

This app has a lot of functionality but... There is a lot of variations between vehicles. The car configuration changes list is not organized well for the dodge dart as it is for a ram 1500 or other vehicles which makes it difficult to find the right settings. Is there any intention of adding LED headlight settings for a dodge dart? Right now there is only front / rear LED turn signal options. No interior or headlight settings.
Amazing app. I have a new Chrysler Pcifica Hybrid, and it can drill down the high voltage system even better than the dealer's Witech tool. Most of aftermarket scan software is years behind and severely limited in functionality, but AlfaOBD has it all. If you don't need support for modules talking over MS CAN, any cheap ELM327 works fine.
The software allows me to set all settings I need on my Alfa Romeo Brera (I use the pay version, not this demo version). Make sure to use a high quality OBD adapter, first I used a cheap one and then some things did not work properly.
This app is 100% awesome. I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Special Service Vehicle that was able to enable a ton of features I added to the truck that it didn't come with originally. The dealers said it was impossible, however my 2012 Ram is now essentially a Laramie longhorn. I just don't have the leather seats or heaters yet. This allows you to fully diagnose your car and get more information than a $299 scan tool from AutoZone like the Actron. Definitely a huge asset and help for DIYrs.

I Can connect with elm327 via BT but no access to any module. Even coolant temperature. With the same elm327 interface no problems at all connecting by SDProg where I see all parameters, or with Torque app
Great app in demo mode, will purchase full app. Make sure you purchase the appropriate connector. The app works, most problems are from the Bluetooth dongle/connector (ELM327). Research first.
Guessing this doesn't work with an 05 ram 2500 with the Cummins. Hard to tell from their website. Least I tried the demo version. Have an MX OBDLink, so that isn't the issue. Works fine with Torque Pro
Looks like a vary capable software. I still have no idea what body computer my Ram truck is. I assume the year? There are 2 options that list 2017 though.
Got this for my dodge dart 2013 so far coming from forscan this is really a great program that is able to do a lot
Seems like a good app. But I can't connect it to my 2015 Ram.
Worked on my Alfa Giulietta 1.8TBI only app that could connect to the car, and also clear the check engine!
Wont even connect! Keeps saying failed and to shut off then return to mar position

Good app, I have also the paid version also, works for me (lancia delta 2009) , I'm using ELM327 bluetooth, also I have all 6 adapter cables, for example at electric steering I need green cable, tested also on some friends cars and worked, app still need some improvements but for now for me is the best, was a good investment paid version 👌

What type of connection do i need to use this app on my car? I mean.. usb, mini usb2, bluetooth , wifi...? Ps. My car does not have bluetooth or Wifi. My car is 2006 alfa 159.

This is a pretty great app. I was definitely surprised. Even by just the level of scanning it's capable of. Worth the money, seriously. I don't even have an afla car. I've got a RAM 1500 from 2016. This app is great if you want to add features to your truck, like a rear view camera. Or enable the ability to roll down your windows with your key fob. Though, you can't roll them up(probably Rams fault, but plz fix if possible). I did not use the recommend adapter, just a cheap $13 dollar one. Ymmv
