I do not understand most of the others who rated this game. The story is engaging. I find myself exceedingly frustrated by the limited controls. If I could give a group command, it would make the game much more immersive, but having to tell each character to hide is tedious and unrealistic. The power limitations for a fusion-powered station also make very little sense. Overall apply a neutral rating becuase the designers went for an interesting game, but I personally I see room for improvement.

It is a fun tense little game. Unfortunately it too little of a game; as it is over by the time it feels like it really gets started. If there was more to do even if it meant repeating maps, would go a long way. Also a mechanic that you could distract the alien from the crew would be nice--even if that meant putting Amanda in danger. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it feels like only a taste of what the game could be.

Alien: Blackout is a magnificent display and achievement of what's truly capable on mobile. The game takes a fresh approach to mobile game design by utilizing a minimalist control scheme and a strong adherence to open-ended gameplay. The game's goal seems clear-- it's all about 'player choice'. Giving the player numerous choices. This affords the player an array of unique strategies to give a go. Should I take it slow n steady? Or run like hell throw caution to the wind? Maybe Hide like a pansy

I found the game very enjoyable. I like the controls, and the voice acting is superb. I loved the thrill and the rush while playing it, and I am going to definitelly be playing more in the future. (I hate to come back with bad news but the game has completely stopped working for me. I click new game, and it'll do the intro sequence where you see the space station, but then while it loadsthe game up, it stops and my home screen appears. Please fix so I can continue to enjoy this awesome game)EDIT

I very much enjoy the game. The graphics are phenominal, the intensity, the story/plot, how you have to think and react, the gameplay, and how it adapts and have blind points to make it even more challenging. But, I found it to be short of gameplay. Adding more levels and more capabilities would increase the game overall for me. Overall though, excellent game and can not wait to see what else comes for this game. Oh, and possibly add a multiplayer function where the other controls the alien

Despite slight skipping, this is a decent game. I'm not sure if the skipping is the game or just my phone, but either way, an interesting concept. Given that actually running away from the alien yourself while on the bus would be difficult, this is nicely made for times like that. Perhaps a new mode or two, some tweaks here and there, and it could be something really quite special. Not that its bad, because is isn't. Take this review with a pinch of salt due to my lack of sleep. Still worth it

I would place this game in my all time Top 10 Android Games. This is without a doubt the best strategy/survival game I've played. With exceptional graphics and clear cut storyline, it makes you wanna keep going even when u fail. The game is however short with increasing levels of difficulty with each coming mission. Kudos to the Developer! Looking forward to many such games from the team. Cheers!

This game has a reputaiton of being a clone of FNaF series. But, it's actually pretty good for that. Graphics looks nice, overall gameplay is interesting. But, the price. 5.49€ for a mobile game this size is too much. I beat the game in 2 hours with multiple restarts of the levels. So it only has one thing for replay value, keeping every member of the crew alive. No optional objectives, no harder difficulties (although it's hard), no extra levels. But that might be improved/added in the future.

If you take away the fact that this is different from the original gameplay you'd see from the Alien series, it's a really good game. It tests your patience and attentiveness all while making sure you take strategic steps. My main complaint would be that the alien takes repetitive routes, which in itself makes the gameplay seem repetitive or much harder for your crew to escape when he keeps circling around the same area.

a good game but the controls are poorly designed for mobile play, most of my fails are simply down to the game controls... would have been great on PC. Ripley has a hard time moving her head fast enough to cover all the entrances in later levels, would be better to get dedicated buttons to swap between vents. it can also be hard to tell which dot is which character so having a colour coded system would have made way more sense so you can easily manage your team in rushed situations.

The game is definitely fun and challenging but I have to agree it was really short. Having to navigate your crew through this space station really challenging and scary but I'm having issues. One is that the prompts for trying to block the alien in your room are way too fast. Although it does remind me of FNAF it feels like its own game with the crew gameplay. Overall though I've had no crashes. The game looks great and the alien looks surprisingly good. A short good game with some problems.

In a world full of micro-transactional hell, it is refreshing to see a game that asks for money upfront for the full experience. While it seemingly has used the FNAF formula, it has done so well and tied it into the LORE in a way that makes sense. The only problems i see are the animations are sonetimes a little clunky with characters moving out of sync with their animations. Other than that there could be a little more content for the price.

I loved Alien: Isolation, and this game, although differing in gameplay, has a very similar feel with the tension it creates. Not perfect, controlling everything on a phone screen isn't always easy, but overall very fun and better than I was anticipating. Good Job! Hope they release some bonus or challenge levels at some point for more replay value.

so i love this game right from the start, in my opinion it could be better theb fnaf. But it took me less than a week to finish and i was expecting alot more at least 50 levels. When the game ended thought is this for real? Don't get me wrong the game was fun, challenging, and kept me wanting more and more but seriously their were only like 5 or 6 levels. I understand that it just came out but at least have 10 or 15 levels. This has alot of potential, just add more levels, facehuggers, 2 aliens

The presentation value is incredibly high. Everything is voice acted and sounds great. Even the voice of Amanda Ripley is back to reprise her role. This really is an Alien Isolation class experience appropriate for the mobile form factor. The spaces are tight and the gameplay induces plenty of anxiety. Highly recommended for any fan of the franchise!

A truely scary and immersive game. I love the challenge presented with more openings to your hideout as you progressed in the game. I would of liked to seen more levels. So if this game comes out with a DLC pack I will get it. Plus i would of liked to have an option of gameplay of like easy to most difficult options for the best challenging experience. Other than that amazing game can't wait to see more, if there is more to come.

Loved the game. Its a very well made game. There r definitely some bugs and glitches like one time I couldn't open the screen through which u access the map. It happened 2 time in total. But fortunately didn't lead to any other game bug. Great game overall. Loved it.. would recommend it to anyone. I had actually got the game when it was free for some time so i didn't have to pay.

Took me a little bit of time to figure out where the alien was going to come from in each level and i only had some minor issues like glitches where in one level some characters said their dialogue lines even though they were playable. When i also got near to the end of the game the last level didn't wanna load so i had to restart the game to load it. Other then that this game is really good despite the minor glitches that need to be fixed.

Entertaining but very short. I got through 6/7 missions in less than 2 hours learning as I went. Would have been faster but I didn't learn how to optimize run speed and motion detectors until the 7th level when I was forced to use running more. Hopefully they add additional content otherwise I'd skip this one, I have $2 in Google Play credit so I only paid $3 for the game so for 2 hours of casual play it was worth it I suppose. It was annoying having the doors far apart for Ripley on level 7 also

There's not much I can say other than it was briliant! This style of gameplay goes hand-in-hand with the feel and atmosphere of Alien, and it felt every bit as tense as Isolation. Thoroughly enjoyed it, if a little short, but the short story format is something that more mobile games should aspire to. Would love to see where they can take this next!

This is a very intense game that captures the essence of the original Alien movie. Where a small crew has to survive a single xenomorph alien without the use of any military weaponry. As a huge fan of the original movie, this game (and Alien Isolation) really hit home with me. Now, originally I had some issues dealing with hitting the tiny on-screen "buttons". But that issue was resolved by me simply wearing some THICC glasses. So I've beaten the game & all is copacetic. Kudos to the developer!

Its kind of like five nights at freddys, but alien themed, and with a little strategy as you have to guide the sheeple to objectives without them being caught. It doesnt appear to have any microtransactions which is a big plus, it also only barely does a tutorial, letting you learn the mechanics through trial and error, which is also another plus. The resource management was also well done.the biggest downside is that its alien franchise in name but not scary at all.

Pretty fun game. While people are right that it is similar to fnaf, it does have unique differences. There needs to be a custom challenge mode, or maybe a level designer. My main criticisms are: 1. The hurry up is too slow and needs to be tuned 2. There's no way to distract the xenomorph which makes the levels more difficult then they need to be, but not in a challenging way, just in a annoying wait until the alien goes away kind of difficult. 3. Lower the price, at least until the game is fixed

when i read about this game, fully expected it to be stupid. after playing a few rounds, its not bad at all. trying to keep your crew members alive while looking over your shoulder has been pretty challenging. recommend you play with headphones for the full effect. certainly isnt any alien isolation 2 but its a fun little diversion.
