Deep Purple are an English rock band formed in Hertford in 1968. The band is considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock, although their musical approach changed over the years. Originally formed as a progressive rock band, the band shifted to a heavier sound in 1970. Deep Purple, together with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, have been referred to as the "unholy trinity of British hard rock and heavy metal in the early to mid-seventies". They were listed in the 1975 Guinness Book of World Records as "the globe's loudest band" for a 1972 concert at London's Rainbow Theatre, and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide.
Formed in 1968 by Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Rod Evans, Ritchie Blackmore, and Nick Simper, Deep Purple released their debut album, Shades of Deep Purple, in July of that year.
They have undergone many changes of personnel over the years, and today Ian Paice is the only member from the original line-up still with the band. The other members currently are Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Steve Morse and Don Airey.

when I could access the songs, it was the greatest list of harmonious songs... but for some reason these albums with the other bands I downloaded do not play anymore🤐

Well it would be a 5 star app but for one HUGE issue and that would be missing songs on the older albums such as BLACK NIGHT and STRANGE KIND OF WOMAN just to name two but there are others also. Please correct or update and I will most certainly update my review.
This app is the S t and you know the rest !. Deep Purple was Rock and Rock was Deep Purple . They are still the best 1972 this was the album and Smoke on the Water was the song.

Deep Purple has been in my top 3 since '67. This app is great. All of their tunes, I mean ALL. Only con is search engine hangs up.
Sure brings back memories . I loved this back when I was in my twenties . I was back from overseas in 67 and 68 Deap Purple hit the most liked .
