Great, simple, and efficient weather app. However, I still use my other weather app, which provides more up to date radar images. Still, this app is excellent for a quick glance and provides accurate weather analysis. Edit (1-17-19): Developer note on radar page claims that updates are on the way for the radar feature. I look forward to them and hope I'll be able to change my review to 5 stars.
Nice, Clean, accurate, and does what it is supposed to do. As an added bonus, it isnt harvesting your data like The Weather Channel and other weather apps do to sell it. The creator is active on Reddit and fulfills requests and answers questions promptly. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice weather app.
The app UI looks great compared to other weather apps, and loads significantly faster than all others. Since it's easy to use and loads so fast I prefer this over other weather apps. The big downside WAS not having a radar to look at, but the app dev fixed this issue in under a week!
Zooming on the radar would be nice. Transparent widgets and smaller widgets would be a plus, a current conditions widget would be really nice too. Placing pins on a map where users have reported weather would be really helpful also.
Gorgeous ui, low impact on my phone resources, and excellent accuracy. If this were a professional product, it would already be great; as a personal project seeking to undo the trouble that private weather companies have created, it's truly spectacular.
Very nice. Clean, clear display. Opening the hourly forecast takes a little while, but the weather alerts come out very fast. Typically well before other apps that I've tried.
phenomenal app. Works perfectly. Love the ability to send pictures in and that it records data but only when I turn it on and allow it to.
Not enough widgets. Sorry, but I don't like launching the app to get weather info, I prefer to see things like 5-day weather forecast right on my Home page, and this app currently does not have widgets for that. I'll stick to other apps until this will be added.
Increasingly buggy and laggy, it has been unable to load any information for a few weeks. Just discovered there's a tornado watch in effect for where I am and this useless app can't tell me anything.
Disappointed. Companies that make weather apps and widgets should always have an option to select a Pacific personal weather station and not just by GPS location. exp like a Pacific personal station on weather underground or other websites the have personal weather stations . And also be able to modify the background color and fonts size both on the app and the widget plus have audible current weather conditions like one rare app that I happened to find.
Works great, and I love the developer's respectful attitude towards user data. Also exceedingly and warmly responsive to bug reports (and fixes them fast!) and kindly receptive to feature requests.
i appreciate the open and honest nature of the app which is why I use it. The UI looks sleek with simple animations and up-to-date conditions.
Great, but notifications only pop up when I open the app. I get severe thunderstorm alerts only when I opened the app. Notifications are enabled systemwide and in the app.
Does exactly what you'd need a weather app to do! And if you want to support the developers, you're more than welcome to toss them a few bucks via a cheap as heck subscription!
Saw this app posted on r/TropicalWeather earlier this storm season and downloaded it. I turned on the Pressure Data Sharing and just went through the eye of Zeta in New Orleans. It was cool looking back at the graph and seeing the sharp drop in our pressure down to 980.
Widget remains blank. Opening the app leads to an infinite loop of requesting precision location info (Google tracking). Never managed to get ANY weather info.
For the last several months, has refused to load forecast data. I have waited for an update to fix that, but no dice.
This app has a lot of potential (I believe it is fairly new) and it is the best replacement i have found since Storm is no longer supported. It is like NWS Now but with a more appealing visual theme.
I don't normally rate apps, but I have to make an exception this time. This app is awesome. I'm extremely impressed. This weather app is truely a must have. It exceeds all other weather apps.
My favorite weather app. Friendly, responsive developer. Love the interactive options and being able to contribute data!
Question: the Persistent Notification doesnt seem to update on its own - is there a setting i can toggle in the system to make it work as intended? Im running Oreo 8.1
I dont want to give a bad review because it wouldn't be fair. Ill wait it out until morning and see what happens. Ive been having the gathering weather notification for the past 4 hours. LG V35 running Oreo. looks and sounds promising.
Nice. Intuitive. Good graphics. Developer put a lot of effort into making this app very user-friendly.
I like it better than just about all of the other weather apps I've used! I like the UI, but more widgets would be nice. Cheers!
Great app. Wish the forecast extended more than 3 days. Got to replace the unfortunately-destroyed Weather Underground.
The Best Weather App for Android. This app is seamless, ad-free, and the developer keeps it updated. Free? I would have gladly paid for this. Thanks!
Ok app. Cluttered and difficult to navigate. Haphazardly arranged links to hourly and daily. Single color blue not that appealing. 72 hours max forecast unless you pay.
Keep up the good work! Is it possible to get zoom in on the radar? The town's listed are very hard to read (Moto G7 Power).
I hope your app eventually becomes the premier weather app of choice. Please keep up the great work!
Good, but could be better! I've installed and subscribed in hopes to spur additional development. The weather is accurate! It uses NWS which IMO is way, way more accurate than Dark Sky. But, the UI is a bit clunky and the widget is really ugly! I'm dreaming of a beautiful transparent widget and an app that's a bit easier to navigate! I hope my subscription $ goes to a good cause! Thanks for creating a weather app that's better about being clear how user data is collected and used.
