Great app to look up and find specs, technical information on Konica AR lenses which I purchased in the 1980s and 1990s and have now found a NEW LIFE on my Nikon DSLR via a Konica AR to Nikon F mount adapter! This is saving me big $ in not having to purchase prime or even zoom lenses and forces me to shoot in manual mode and thus become a better photographer. Thanks for this database App! It would be a nice addition if the favorites (lens inventory) could be exported as a PDF file hence a 4
Hi. Wonderful library. I purchased premium for similar lens feature which is wonderful. However for "favourites" i cant sort my lenses and differentiate between purchased and wishlist Also missing a few lenses - i cant find 40-150mm f2.8 olympus pro. Can i add it by myself ? Otherwise a perfect 5. Will revise review accordingly
Great app for the lens enthusiast! SUGGESTION: ability to export your list of "favorites" into some form of PDF or other text file for cataloging/organization?
I cannot get this wonderful app on my other devices. You need networking for the app to function, but is a wonderful resource for any photographer. 5 Stars.
App is missin 2 very simple settings, 1-filters to narrow choices, 2- short by to order them right way extra there ahould be market values for lenses an avaeage price, then this could be best lens app out there in the store
There is a need to be able to sort lenses by camera mount. Also, there are no Viltrox lenses listed.
Search for lens mount will not work = java io error , internal server error . Great idea and when it worked would have got 5 stars
Unable to back up list to another device. Much wanted feature. Please!
This was a great app until it stopped loading for me. It's been weeks since I've been able to use it.
A great resource for those with lense buying addiction. :-)
I buy the pro version and it didn't give me the pro access and it cost me twice. I will edit this rating if i get refund and pro access
Helped me decide on buying an old Nikkor lens - Thanks!
Handy & Easy to use.
Excellant app, very informative
I have like the app test it
This is a sweet app.. I am no pro, but I do enjoy photography as a way of expressing my artistic side. I shoot with a Sony NEX 5R and with the use of adaptors I use all legacy type lenses, mostly Minolta and Canon but have some others as well. I probably have 20 of them and this app has most of them listed making it a nice reference ... Thanks
The user base is nice the lens i have are there. it's just finding them. it's best to not use the search icon, but use the dropdown menus. Being a user updated community it has the same problem Wikipedia pages have missing information like how many blades is the aperture or which mounts the lens comes in.
The best app for info on camera lenses. Just wishing if I could use this offline as well
First app I go to to check into on lenses, usually has great reviews and specs on almost every lens.
Have you ever wished there was a comprehensive database of probably every camera lens available in the market for the best way to get the product information you require before making a decision to purchase? Then wish no more because with this clever and rather unique application you have basically all the lens information at your fingertips. No hassles and no stress
If you want to round out your lens collection, this app will help and save you money in the bargain.
Selecting a single lens mount gives a Java io error and doesn't return any lenses.
This is great! I was looking at many site to search and compare vintage lens. This is perfect i can search through the app. I like to idea that we can hace some guidelines on the price :)
Love this application as a photographer. It is from here then i get to know all the lenses from me all the way back to grandfather's time. It can be even better if i can freely input my reviews on the lists of lenses i had. I paid for the privilege but i get nothing at all. So therefore 4 stars.
Nikon ai and ai-s I thought I'd never see this on an app. Had to buy
This is an ambitious program that details lenses from different manufacturers and different eras of both film and digital photography. It gets better all the time, and it's a monumental task. Has already helped me avoid poor lenses, and pointed me towards little-known gems.
Very good if your looking for new lenses, especially vintage lenses. Also offers alternatives in the same sort of focal range. Would recommend if your looking for a new lenses, lots of user reviews and sample photos. Not for all lenses though.
The screen doesn't refresh properly and clear sometimes so two screens overlap and app needs to be restarted. Otherwise I love it
quite happily downloaded the App after stumbling upon the website (which I also utilize) I love this listings and WOULD gladly buy random lenses just to add to this listing! Thank you for expanding our collective knowledge. Can't wait to add anything I may find, that isnt shown, to the list. (Saw a Beroflex Auto Zoom 75-235 recently and may snap it up just to add it to the app/website)
