AllCast

This app used to be amazing. I upgraded to premium, and it was 100% worth it. I've had it so long, I can't bring myself to rate below 3 stars, that's how rock solid it was for so long. Now, it never plays ANYTHING on my Chromecast or Xbox. The listed formats do not play, regardless of file size. It never works anymore. Hoping next update fixes, because I used to use this daily. Note 8 running latest Android Oreo.

Had great potential, linked up with my LG TV immediately. However, the ads were so numerous and constantly on screen that I was unable to view any photos, or anything else but the ads. I couldn't even close an ad without another popping up in its place. I know there's a reason for the ads, and a paid version is available, but the ads are so intrusive that it's impossible to evaluate the app. I'm leery of paying 5 bucks when I'm not sure if it's a workable solution.

Terrible app. I downloaded the pro version because the free version is almost unusable due to the amount of pop-up ads on it. The pro version doesn't have ads but just doesn't work properly. Movies stall all the time, not buffering, just stalling and won't go past that point unless you move the slider along which caused you to miss part of the movie. It only happens when using this useless app. Uninstalling and I'm now £3 poorer because of this useless bit of rubbish.

It allows you to cast movies to your TV. That's the only good part. Bad ones? 1. Constant ads - every 30 seconds or so 2. Plays 5 minutes of the movie before "preview" is complete. If I have to buy full version of this, I'd rather pay $25 for Chromecast and not to worry shut commercials, etc

I paid for the premium service and it worked perfectly for 1 day. The second time I used it, there was no sound. I made sure the sound was not muted. I tested both devices for sound outside of this app. I played different file types. No sound. This is highly frustrating to me. I will ammend this review should I get adequate tech support from the developer.

It's a good app, I don't see why people are complaining so much, I stream to my xbox and it works perfectly fine, sometimes it takes a while to load, but that's the only issue, rest of the time it's good. Good quality, if you're having issues, I'd say delete and then reinstall it, I've done that and normally any issue I have had, goes away. And with the ads popping up, turn your phone volume down and you won't hear anything.

Works great for almost anything, but if you have an Xbox... Download it! All movies that I have on my phone, whether downloaded or from an movie app I've downloaded from the internet, you can easily cast your movies to the big screen. Excellent app in my opinion. At least for my uses if needed it for so far for the past 2 years.

The only app that I have found to share photos to the TELSTRA TV box strsight from my phone using WiFi. I purchased premium to get rid of pesky adds. BUT PLEASE ADD AN IMAGE ROTATION OPTION, for some reason your app shows some images sideways which is very annoying with no way to correct the issue, a simpple 90° button on each side of screen or even just one, would help much! Thanks for your time.

App runs well.. Only problem is that IT WON'T LET ME FAST-FORWARD. It won't even let me rewind or pause or play. I was near the end of a movie and I all of a sudden lost "connection".. so i had to restart the movie, and it wouldn't let me fast forward to where I left off. This is the 8th movie this has happened with. Sometimes i'm 30 minutes into a good movie and I can't finish it.

Probably the best casting app I've installed but there's this one problem where it pauses the video on tv even though I'm not touching my phone and I'm pretty sure nothings and no ones touching it either and when I do pause it although I press play play on my phone it doesn't unpause and just skip more than 30 seconds of the video and I have to manually find the part where it stopped just so I can continue watching....... Great.... Just hope it gets fixed so I can continually watch my movies.

Dose just want it says work's great. I've tried out quite a few of these type apps but most take a while to get it up and running this really couldn't be any easier or quicker . I cast music that I struggle to see on pages works with all the stuff you have photos films Netflix if you can get it up on your phone you can see it on TV

Horrible! Zero Stars! Do not download. As soon as a finished setting up the app and tried to use it my entire screen froze then went completely black. Nothing was responsive on the screen. My power and volume buttons worked. I couldn't normally shut down my phone because none of the onscreen buttons were visible. I ended up having to do a soft reset of my phone instead. Horrible experience.

The file browser within the app wouldn't work. I was able to find a video to play using my phones file browser. After clicking share and selecting this app as the share destination, and then my TV in the list of the devices, it looks like it's about to play on my TV screen.... and then an ad pops up and never goes away with an error message behind it about the video failing to play So I tried again... and again... The ad changes each time but will not clear or timeout. The video never plays

Solved a huge Smartphone/Roku lag problem! Since I switched to a Roku TV, I could no longer cast from my Samsung Galaxy S10 using smart view to the TV without lag and skips every few seconds- even when I switched to a gigabit fiber optic connection! That's when I knew I had to find a fix. Someone on Reddit suggested this app, and low and behold, it actually worked like a charm- I'm back to casting again! The ads on my phone are non intrusive, but I'll likely go pro soon after a few more tests.

I only downloaded Allcast cus Showbox forced me to, but I'm so glad I did. It casts to my xbox quickly and problem free, and then I can pause, etc using the xbox controller, and don't have to mess about with my phone. Unlike some ppl, I don't have to download the film first either. Yes there's ads, but they don't spoil my enjoyment, as I'm too busy watching the film to worry about what my phone's doing anyway. Made my life loads easier, and I've had no issues with Lime player either. Awesome 😁

It's works half the time . It was working great a few yrs ago when I first got it to stream to my chrome stick. Updated it every time and it will connect to the chrome stick but won't play anything. Just sits on a black screen. It plays music from Google play just fine but when it comes to movies it's hit or miss. Its been good until a yr or so ago then it started acting up.

There's nothing better than this and free, and the ads aren't a problem when casting just turn the volume down. This is a update for Allcast. This the only app I usa, a few weeks ago it stoped working so I updated Allcast by uninstalling it and did the same with Cinema HD and Bee TV (make sure you get the latest version) I the safest sites and Malwarebytesmade sure they weren't infected. Also I had used a free VPN which messed up all my connections. Common sense and I haven't had any problems

Adter years of successful playing with this app, nowadays it just randomly starts pausing the playback, then stuttering and just crashing left right and centre. Now just plain awful to use, despite paying for the premium version. Very poor show Allcast, very poor and disappointing.

Handy for streaming when localcast isn't working but don't try and use your phone and the same time. Every few minutes whatever your doing you'll have an ad pop up taking you away from what you were doing and back to the all cast app. It also will drop a stream if I go back off the playing page sink can't even set multiple files to play after each other. If I find another app for when localcast isn't working im going to drop this rubbish app

Installed it - and ALL it does is say, "Searching for players..." and lists my Apple TV. There are no instructions or menu items to let you to get past that point. Tap on 'Apple TV' and it only lets you rename it. Update: got it "going" but, despite being connected, I couldn't actually transfer anything to my TV. In notifications, it said it had a file name for an image running but no way to stop it doing so. What a waste of 40 minutes. Useless is too much praise. Uninstalled.

This app works fine for me. I purchased the Premium Allcast and cast movies/series all the time without any issues. The only downside for this app is the fact I have to navigate to my media server and browse to the folders I want everytime I want to play something, gets a little annoying when wanting to watch a few episodes back to back. needs a playlist, queue, favourites etc. to be a little more user friendly and intuitive. Other than this small thing everything else is thumbs up from me.

I think this is probably the best casting app for android and I really appreciated the update last summer but this desperately needs another update. It plays many different file formats which is awesome however, it does not play well with the new Chromecast with Google tv. I have the paid version of this app. I have two new Chromecasts and sometimes the device with the file will disconnect from the Chromecast. Sometimes allcast won't show my Chromecasts but my vizio and apple tv always show.

Huge battery drain. I love this app. It works very well but does not shut off. I've tried every way possible and it keeps draining my battery very quickly. You have to FORCE STOP the app or restart the phone. Clicking the square and selecting stop or close app does not work. Swiping it away does not work. Please fix this.

Literally would not allow me to cast MP4 videos from my phone onto my TV through Chromecast. Which is the whole point. It doesn't even detect that I have videos on my phone using the file browser. FAQs had nothing constructive towards fixing this problem either.
