Worst App I have used! Very disappointed. I have been a user of the previous version of AllDataDiy. It wasn't an app but worked great on my Android phones. I can't even log into the new app without having a change password link sent to my email. I thought the issue may be that I used my email for my username. So I attempted to add an username to my account once logged in. It said that at this time Usernames can't be changed. This is a paid subscription and totally unacceptable.
Tried it once in 2018, sends you back to the login screen after putting in your credentials. Tried it again just a few minutes ago, sends you back to the login screen after putting in your credentials. It is a very consistent bug because I actually have a different phone then the one from 2018 (Note 8) with the one used today that has been factory reset a couple days ago. (Note 9)
App is blank. Nothing in there except my name. Pretty disappointing as I look at the info and fix my truck as I go from my phone. DIY account. 👎
Automatically turns sideways and won't stay vertical. Also when I log in I can't see my DIY purchases.
I have been an all data customer for as long as I can remember (15-20 years) to expect a professional repair shop to pay a monthly fee for such a low quality device that doesn't compare to any professional scanner is one thing, but to make them pay for mobile version of a website that we already pay for in 2021 is poor service. Mobile versions of programs are an expectation in this day and age. I will continue my subscription with alldata however very frustrated by this
Always trying to reconnect while in test drive mode. Can't connect to vehicle unless I have internet connection. Worthless if i go anywhere but in the shop. Otherwise the PIDS I'm able to pull up are helpful. Needs a definite update to fix.
This app is only for the professional diagnostics tool supplied by ALLDATA. In that context it works properly. It is not for the DIY version. All versions will also run on the standard tablet web browser and provide repair information. Diagnostics (codes, scan data, bidirectional control) require this app, the proper vehicle connection interface, and a current diagnostics subscription. The difficulties that other reviewers are posting are due to user error.
Very handy but needs better pictures and a list for acronyms and initials to better service shadytree mechanics. Id pay more for an actual help line with a real mechanic to talk to, maybe something with face time would make it very efficient. Def a valuble tool!
Waste of money. The App has a bug. Redundant bug that after you put the credentials in log in screen, it clears up and ask again for credentials. Not worth the money. Use Identifix instead.
I don't have a VCI nor do I need one for my 1990 GMC Sierra. I can't get past the screen that requires a VCI to be connected and can't find any FAQ on it
All data DIY not accessable here. Downloaded this app to access my All data DIY account but it says "Invalid Login Name or Password". I was hoping I would be able to access my Alldata account.
Here I thought it was Alldata mobile but it only works if you use a Diagnostic tool for it. You can do a quick labor search for spark plugs or a head gasket. Still not useful but now it looks better
I need all data I can't even get past the login is this the wrong app. If I'm in the field I can't take my pc with me the app would be nice but it keeps trying to use my My Chevrolet app to run it
Can't get the app to allow me to log in guess ill jist go to my computer. If I pay for a subscription I should be able to access it from the app or the internet what gives.
Put in log in info, app just loaded a white screen. Unable to do anything beyond that.
Awesome! Scan tool. Does pre and post scans in about 60 seconds. Highly recommend.
App crashed just after login. Seems like I'm not the only one. I feel like you guys should work on a fix
I am to log in online via a computer but not through this app. For now, one star rendering the phone app useless.

Great scanner! Better than any other scanner I have used in my 18 years as a mechanic.
Good app but freeze way to much while scrolling
Most, if not all, 2020 vehicles aren't supported yet.
Can't use it unless u have a Bluetooth scanner
The stuff on the website is completely overpriced. they got greedy.
Have to use a supplied VCI from all data. Not for mobile labor times or moble R & R procedures.

Completely forgot about this app, and that it doesn't even work! Turns out I have been paying $35/month for about 3 years of an app I assumed was included with the $175/month I pay already. They will cancel it starting next billing period, but weren't willing to credit or work me any other deal. Would have never realized it if the card I pay with didn't process on my last payment. Surprisingly, their online payment system finally works, still had to call to change anything though.
