I can't check in and I can't get the app to update my next flight. My app is still showing me the boarding pass and info from a flight months ago, but I need my current info. It keeps giving me an error message when I try to view my boarding pass. If Allegiant is going to charge people for printing boarding passes, the app needs to at least work so people have the option not to print passes.
The website and my emails tell me to sign in and check in online and get my electronic boarding pass. The app doesn't seem to think that's an appropriate thing to do and keeps trying to get me to add a trip. I can not even bring up the check in screen. The flight was certainly not expensive but the aggravation from their system makes me wonder whether was worth the saving.
This app used to be wonderful to use, allowimg me to download my passes to my phone. Now, however, like many others have experienced, I am getting messages that we are unable to get mobile passes or other"error" messages, and I have had to print the passes out on my computer. Return flight will be a pain because I will not have ready access to a computer and printer. These same complaints have been posted for months; I would think that the problem would have been successfully addressed by now.
Sluggish and unresponsive at times. Periodically, no "book flt" tab. Now...won't allow booking in the app. Always resolves to "error, try again later". Assuming Allegiant is aware of issue, since many have brought it up. Sooner is better. UPDATE on 2/28/22 DID NOT resolve issue. Recommend not installing app in its current version, as it is useless for any kind of functionality.
Checking in, viewing your boarding pass or even getting flight information is at best difficult, at worst broken. Even when it does work it is nonsensical it how it displays you trips. Past trips are at the top, pending trips at the bottom, meaning you next flight is in the middle. You can remove old flights bit it is a manual process.
I have spent hours hunting for access to print my boarding pass. Most frustrating experience ever & you want to "Charge" me to print the boarding pass if I don't have one, when you should give me a bonus discount if I can find the "secret way" to get it printed. If I could I'd rate "0". Outrageous! Please fix that mess!!!!!!
This is the worst app! It used to be great but not now. Everytime I log on it tells me it can't update my information or it says it can't provide my flight information. I've uninstalled and reinstalled hoping that would fix the problem. Nope! I never know if my boarding pass is updated or not and why are all my flights still posted. I've given my review but they never clear! Please fix this it could be such a great idea
So far the only issue I have have had is once you add a pet to your itinerary you cannot remove it. Online it says you can but I have tried 5 times and can not it will not give you the option. Instead I thought I would call them and get it done it seems the wait time is 2 hours that's not going to happen if the website worked correctly it would solve some problems. So I guess they can do it at the airport. I have messaged and or emailed them every day for a week but received no response. ???
I continue to have issues updating flight details and viewing boarding passes. I have stopped and restarted the app, I have logged off and back on, and I have updated the app. None of these resolve the issues I'm experiencing.
Can't book or change flight on the mobile android app. It errors-out at the payment confirmation. Very frustrating. Then I have to rush to the website, start all over and hope I can still get the flight. Also, the flight departure time on the "manage flight" is obscured by text so it's completely illegible. Not worth the hassle.
Ok most of the time. Frustrating with communication between laptop and mobile app. They don't always transfer between one another for things like boarding passes. If you check-in with a laptop then go to mobile app, boarding pass isn't on your phone.
Constant problems with the app. I am logged in, but it tells me to log in. Then says invalid email address, old flights are still in my trips, cant get in to verify my Allways Points. Just uodated app and still showing the same errors.
Love Allegiant...hate their app. It rarely loads correctly. I can't get boarding passes. I flywith Allegiant frequently, but this seems to be getting worse. I had a flight where half the people could check in via mobile and the other half could not. I literally booked them all so it makes no sense.
I chose to pay additional $30 each for changing carry-on to checked baggage and filled out all credit card info. Got message I could no longer check in on-line and was to see gate agent. Had to reset to original seats to check-in. I hate this app and this airline.
App is Broken very badly. You select two flights that don't even tell you the real price now- says use All ways points (zero explanation of that), next scenn they try to sell a package. You say either option and big Error box with orange button. Something went wrong, try again. Waste of time and poor interface.
This app just doesn't work properly, it just states..... "The following passengers are not eligible for mobile check in". Apps should make your life better, but not this one. Then states "contact representative", called the number..... Wait time 2 hours. Just exactly what I want to hear. Please fix this app. PS I have the latest update. Should be zero stars.
Abysmal, absolutely atrocious. Alligient is the only one with direct flight and is the only reason i chose them. Super rude onboard staff on the grand rapids to lax non stop flight. Delay after delay after delay. I cant express enough how impatient and rude the staff are from misplacing blame for their own actions on passengers and yelling and being rude to passengers. Will never ever be flying allegient ever again and will do everything in my power to ensure no one else i know ever does too.
After successfully using this app for years, I cannot now check in. Fortunately the ticket agent did not charge me to print the boarding pass after seeing the app was not responsive. I checked in with the agent, stopped the app, and restarted my phone to no avail.
Cant do any of the things the app is supposed to do. It's bad enough they can't staff the desks anymore and force people to do everything on their cell phones, but now not even that works. How are we supposed to fly if your app won't print boarding passes or process a check in.
Fine for booking and boarding passes. But I needed to change my itinerary and couldn't do it on the app. I ended up having to pay extra by the time I had access to another device to login and make my changes on the website since ticket prices went up.
The worst app I have ever tried to sign in to confirm seat. Scrap it. Older people are not able to follow your program. Life doesn't need to be this difficult! If your looking for a programmer that can make it a easier process please reach out to brad.software they can make it a better experience.
Allegiant, please fix your app.. I travel Allegiant 2 to 3, a year. This app never works for check in. I have to go to website to check in and then I uninstall app and reinstall it for a paperless boarding pass or you have to pay $5 to print if you don't have access to a printer. 🙄
I booked a flight i had to cancel. site assured if cancelling before 7 days, it was a full refund. it was before 7 days & they gave me a $15.00 dollar voucher. total BS. i will try them one more time. ive never had a problem flying with them till now.
App never gives me anything but problems when trying to use it. Forgets that I'm logged in. And even when I log in 50% of the time it won't allow me to check in. I'm convinced Allegiant does this on purpose so you'll have to get a printed boarding pass instead, so they can charge you a fee.
Allegiant ordering glitches sometimes & gets you flights different than what you ordered. You can't fix it as their customer service doesn't exist. I'm not kidding their customer service phone number is either busy or you can call in the middle of the night & wait on hold for hours before giving up and going to sleep. If you drive to the airport for help & ask them why there is no customer service they will say you are being rude, that it has nothing to do with them then call the airport cops.
After 5 years of not flying Allegiant, I remember why I stopped using them. Expecting one round trip to run smooth and on time from this flying trash heap is asking too much. Never again. I'll get out and walk, that's faster than Allegiant can operate.
Can't finish a booking on this app. "We're Sorry!" it says. None of my credit cards go through. All are active and valid. I always have to get up in the middle of the night, sit on hold for an hour or two and book using the ill named Customer Care Center, incurring their $14.99 fee.
It's ok really wish it was better though. It has so much potential to make your flying experience exceptional. It does offer the basic utilities of an airline app like boarding passes, check in, flight search, saves passengers information but it lacks in many ways. It signs you out constantly, and does not offer timely updates on delays of cancelations. It's quite frustrating. Hopefully these small changes can be made and it would be 5 stars.
Like the others, I am also having issues. I am not able to check in. It's a constant hassle to get it to work and in multiple occasions I have to get in line to have my ticket printed or print it at home. Which defits the purpose of having the app. If the app worked like it was set up it would be great, easy and fast. Please resolve this issue. I am a frequent customer that would like a hassle free experience.
Allegiant app is confusing and weird, I fly a lot and struggle with several issues using it: 1. It keeps all old trips history at the top, why? 2. Never let me check in although my flight is clearly on there: So my options are either to go back to my desk top, check in, and then refresh the phone and hope to see my boarding pass......extra time and work for sure! 3. Need to manually add trips to this app! Seriously, this App must be brought up to speed with reality.... Thank you
